Quick question so I have v2 is this an update to v2 and it automatically could become v3 or do u have to pay for v3 as its own seperate game?
@@smittywerbenjaggermanjenso9044 V3 is a separate game you have to purchase. Any V2 content you have is compatible with V3.
As a European, Run8 is the best investment I could have made so I'm also going to buy this route too.

Haha probably too late but it depends on what you want to do. Run8 is by far the most realistic train simulator in terms of operations. It’s awesome to operate switchboards and work with other people in multiplayer.
Is that RJ Corman livery included with the route?
No, it is a reskin available on the Run 8 Enhancement Discord.

Just remember, this route is bound for tons of updates and extensions. There isn’t very many major issues that ruin the experience of the route away, but we have seen Run 8 do better before already. I’m sure the updates will fix all these little problems.
I 100% agree. The route is definitely still worth buying from sure. I really hope they go east to Harrisburg!

I have the fitz and the signals are 100 percent accurate as far as their locations. The developer put in a ton of time to get those right.
This editing style is really bringing me back to MSTS with at the railyard

Very awesome trailer! It definitely reminds me of the old At The Railyard (Nick Ozorak) review of the MSTS NS Pittsburgh Line from over a decade ago and I'm feeling nostalgic!

Hello I have qvestion. This game is free? Or not. And is there dlc is free or to buy. Because I like this game
The base game cost $50. That includes the Mojave Subdivision & the Needles Subdivision. All of the other routes range from $20 to $40. Engine packs are all $20 [Packs include 4 or more paint schemes in them] and freight car packs range from $6 to $15.
It would be nice to compare textures and details inside and out, close up.

@@run8reviews770 Sorry as I was not very clear. I meant compare the quality, detail, look and resolution of the textures, etc. compared to say, the default locos that came with the base Run8 product. I know looks are not everything but kinda like looking at the basic texture quality of an OEM loco from the early days of Train Simulator and seeing how some of the new DLC is even using 4K textures, etc. Not expecting 4K, etc. but curious as to that aspect.

I do wish snow would accumulate on the ground and would like winter textures too. Snow or rain shouldn’t fall in sheds or tunnels either

At least we finally have snow. It will make the Northeastern U.S. routes more realistic in much of the winter.
I’m impressed with the video of the Fitzgerald Subdivision and love the work of the Fitz and it’s fun running on multiplayer too

It is a custom. It replaces the SJVR engine.

Not a new Railroad we get the NS and the HOG in one route
We've had NS already on the A-Line near JAX.
We got a few miles of NS and the HOG. The focus of the Fitzgerald sub is CSX

I was getting overwhelmed by socal and quit playing Run8 altogether. Gave my attention to other things instead (not other games though. Nothing is better than Run8 so why bother?) Then this was released. It's almost local and if they expand west to Oakland, it will be. I just love it. I definitely give it too much of my time but I'm okay with that. No, it's not entirely accurate for any period but that's okay too. In real life though, the route really doesn't get a lot of traffic, not even if you add the Feather River Route to the total. If I want to do any productive rail fanning, I have to cross bridges into the bay area and hit up the BNSF. They actually run a surprising number of trains to and from Richmond. I guess UP runs most of theirs up from their southern routes.
The problems I have with this is that it uses the Dash 9 model when the CSX Dash 9s are really just Dash 8s with some Dash 9 components. They share the same body as a Dash 8 and on the outside do not look like Dash 9.
4:58 ARE THOSE THE SOUNDS YOU GET FOR TRAINS WITH BASE GAME (WITHOUT MODS)???
No sadly, they are mods. Hence why in the beginning of my videos I say "Some experiences may differ".
