    10year have passed, do you still have the skid, if so did it last, if not still on this set up, how long did it last for you, did you end up changing the spacing/gearing,

    Pink strawberry milkshake looking oil is an example of contaminated oil. It has water in it, and needs to be changed. The oil level is also way over filled. Two small plugs on the side of the tank, by the back wheel, is the max fill level for the 610.

    Fantastic little machine. The 14hp can do a heck of a job. I moved a 100 yds of dirt to build a berm at my office. Built like tank and very simple to work on. Be careful, no brake!

    I believe I have the same machine, no serial number plate. Purchased a few months ago and it doesn't want to turn without stalling the engine. It has been retrofitted with a 22hp Kawasaki. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Glenn, you listed the stub shaft in the list of parts. Is this something you added to motor afterwards or did the Vanguard come with the stub shaft on it?

    Hello , my name is Dave and I need some minor wiring work done on my S250 which is in pretty good condition and I believe I’ve done all the troubleshooting and have the problem figured out, but now I need someone to confirm that I’m going in the right direction and possibly help me with the wire repairs as well because wiring is not my strong suit. The wires in question are enabling my brake solenoid to lock up on me every 20-30 minutes of run time and stooping me dead were it happens. You can hear the magnet snap up into the hold position and I believe the damaged wires are also draining my volts & dropping them down in between uses. I also live in Massachuttes about 20 minutes south of Boston in Weymouth right off the highway. I will pay you well for your time & cash money too. I am a bit reluctant to sent it out to Bobcat again because they charge you $3000.°° or more just to look at your Machine & I’ve already been let down recently and would prefer to have someone like yourself work with me, I really can’t see it taking more than a few hours but as I mentioned I really want confirmation that I’m doing the repairs correctly & getting the job done properly too. I don’t have any problem with cash & if it does only take a few hours I’ll pay you for the day regardless but I have a trust issues mainly because I’m to trusting myself. If you wouldn’t mind giving me a call at (781)985-0428, & ask for Dave I will make it worth your time. I drew up a schematic on a piece of large art paper that I draw my designs with for my landscape designs & hardscape projects that I’ve been doing for 25+ years now so it should be pretty easy to understand and I have the service Manuals as well along with a large tool selection. Hope to hear from you & thank you. Dave B.

    • @MrRider65
      @MrRider65 Рік тому

      You really don't want to do that the Hydraulics and the drive system is only designed for so much horsepower. Not only that but a bigger engine would weigh a lot more and when you take the bucket off she would be tail heavy

    Nice video. I just bought a 1975 m444 being delivered as we speak. Is there a service manual or operator's manual somewhere? I know nothing about this thing and want to at least know how to change oils and filters. Thanks!!

    After 20 years, you got 111,000 miles in it (1997 - 2017). I wonder why you have so much rust. I have the same car. This year 2022, I got 279,200 plus miles.
