Hello, im currently 16, so I have no idea what im talking about lol, but im planning on becoming a "postal mail processor" and I got confused with some of the things I looked up and apparently they make like $19+ an hour but I seen something else saying you could make from $23-38an hour? So id like you to confirm which is right because im really looking forward to getting a high paying job 😭🙏 Thank you.

What are your shift times like?
The plant is 24hrs so they have a few shifts, could be 7am-1pm, 4pm-10pm, 6pm-12am…once you become regular then you’ll get a set schedule usually 8 hours, 5 days.

It might have went up again but for MHA it was over $18 and for PSE is was over 20$

It could be a stressful job if you’re not used to manual labor. You should still apply, you never know unless you try!
My local usps hours are from 9-5. What would you gauge the start time for this job is? You mentioned certain packages need to be ready for trucks by 9am

I have orientation in a few weeks for cca but I wanted pse or plant worker... but this is the offer I got. do you think if I dont go to orientation they will still consider me in the future
I would still let them know that you won’t be attending but they should still consider you
Does the USPS do phone interviews? Or only in person?
I never had an interview for my position, it may be different for others
I applied for the PVO position and did the phone interview and two days later received job offer and did background and fingerprints now just waiting for next steps

You can apply to any position at any time. It most likely won’t be the same position that they gave you an offer for previously because once those positions are filled that’s it usually.
if they email me to accept or reject a job and I do nothing can I reapply in 30 days? What happens next?

What is the work like? Do they just assign you to a section and your there doing that all day until they tell u?
@@gem9414 Hello. Basically it will be lots of lifting, pushing and pulling. Packages are of different weights. If it too heavy, DO NOT try to lift...ask for help. When you clock in, always check with your MDO(manager on duty for your tour) and ask where you need to go. You will get training from the regulars, so don't be afraid to ask questions. You will be moved to different sections when needed so don't be surprised.

Im a MHA now and the pay sucks and we are overworked and they are talking about cutting our hours to 25 a week. MHA, the regulars barely work and do whatever they want to. I put in for other crafts.

Hey and you are actually in the offer phase right now if you submitted your background check. Once everything clears you’ll get an orientation date.

The pay for CCA and Jersey is 1933 and I believe the pay for MHA is like $18 and some change. It’s not too much of a difference but as a CCA is definitely more stressful and I’ll take the pay cut being an MHA honestly.

Nobody ever said that to me, when I’m at work the supervisors leave me alone lol🤷🏽♀️ only time they talk to me is if they need me to go to another section.
