Hello! This looks like a great technique. I’m not super familiar with foiling or the pop of colour products. What exactly is the pop of colour product and why is it a great alternative to the toning ink? Is it just availability or price? Is it the texture? Thank you for sharing your experience.
Toner ink is no longer available. This works amazing with intricate details.

I must live under a rock...I have never heard of Pops. Does Pops dry or remain sticky? Do you wait until the image is dry before placing the foil on top? My mind is blown and I must purchase the magic bottle of goodness. Thank you.
Pops dries fast. So you can foil quickly or wait till later. Have fun foiling! ❤️

Can you use one of the other similar product to pop of color?
You can definitely experiment and see, but the results with pops are amazing. It needs to be water base and like a gel. ❤️

You don’t have to wait. Foil whenever you want. ❤️❤️🤗🤗
This is a great video! I have toner ink but haven’t used it. What’s the difference between that and these?
You can actually do intricate stamps with the pops. Pops is easier to use and much easier clean up from the stamp. Also toner ink is no longer available. ❤️Hope this helps.

Oh wow, lots of questions:Can I use my small laminating machine instead of the one you show? Can you apply this to polymer clay? Will the Pop of Color paints work with polymer clay? Thank you so much, cool idea!❤
Yes, it should work in your laminator as long as it heats up enough. You could put the pops on polymer clay you just wouldn’t be able to foil it without some kind of heat with pressure. I’m not sure if an iron would work or not. Hope this helps. 🥰🥰🥰

What are the popps of colour .im in the uk so what would be the equivalent pls?
Try Nuvo drops to see if they work if they are available to you. Pops is a gel like substance and is water base. 🥰 Hope this helps.

I have trouble with my hands using the stamp acrylic blocks with my arthritis and smudge quite often. I love to use embossing powders, I have not done any foiling yet other than toner foil with my minc.
I have the switch and and I love it, I have purchased a new set of plates as they have warped, I dont do anything crazy with mine, but they still warp. I was actually thinking of buying the Gemini II or the Gemini I found I can use the Gemini Plates and rubber mat with my Switch. :) so thank you for this video.
I have the big Gemini machine and have had it for years. I wasn’t happy with the plate system so I never use it anymore. The plates warped so bad. I had to replace the milk white shim with a self healing cutting mat to get the plates to stop warping as much. It was awful. Since then I’ve retired my Gemini and only use my Sizzix machines. The plates system isn’t as complicated on Sizzix. I use the magic mat in my big shot plus and in my big shot fold away machines and it cuts down on plate warping and keeps plates straight longer. Gemini is definitely great if you’re cutting through thick materials though. That thing is a beast! Have a wonderful day! Hugs, Missy 🤗🤗❤️❤️

How did you use the toner ink before? Was it also daubed onto the stamps? So you’ve replaced one liquid for another?
@@TheLegoStar The toner ink has been discontinued. This stuff works way better than the toner ink ever did. Everyone asked me for an alternative method for foiling stamps since the toner ink is no longer available. This is my new method.

The hack is using this specific product. I have not had any show through with the foils I have used. If you’re worried about show through depending on your foils, then purchase clear or white.

I wonder if the same could be done with a laminating machine (and the transfer folder).

Try stamping with versamark, then use embodying powder/melt following by using the laminator

can you explain which mat is used in your stampwheel is for the red rubber and which is the one used for clear stamps? I wasn't sure which one was for the clear stamp.
