Grand Admiral Thrawn?
Explains Putin's nonsense pretty well
I love Eastern Europeans ethics and traditions minus the Polish people.
Please create indian prime minister character and then he meet with russian president

Petrov is right, its beautiful to have a relatively controllable chaotic democratic political system in the US, but reality is, most country still in their primary status, their choice is either totalitarian or chaos. I've seen chaos, its not very nice.
"If people don't like the job you're doing, they vote you out of Office. If they don't like the job I'm doing, they topple statues, blood is spilled, chaos takes over." People don't start revolutions, if voting the leader out is possible. If it's impossible, then whose fault is that?
House of Cards keeps rolling with LGBT propaganda. Not so strange, considering who's in control. J 3 # S
Indeed
" Tell Putin I will have more flexibility after the election"-- Barack Obama
Grand Admiral Thrawn has come far.
Petrov: you should come to Russia we surf the water is cold but the women are very warm Underwood: oh I’m not sure what Claire would think about that Petrov:it’s ok you bring her along the place is crawling with artists I’m sure she’ll find something she likes 😂😂😂 oh the burn 🔥 💀
Funny how this scene is a pro gay propaganda talking about propaganda
Putin and the Russian people don't really give a shit about what you do behind closed doors, but they hate seeing it out in public in any way, shape, or form
Lie
“Revolution sneaks up on you one small step at a time. I don’t take chances, even with the smallest of steps” Petrov or Thrawn? lol both
Amazing Petrov 👍
"I don't take chances. Even with the smallest of steps."
such a load of bull, dictator's always blame the people in fact sometimes they incite violence just so it looks like there current regime is the only option.
If russia had a leader this competent, they would never have messed up in Ukraine. Can oyu imagine looking at the US's debacles (20 years in Afghan and 20 years in iraq) and going yeah well I'm going to suffer 5 times as many casualties as those 40 years together in 18 months!
When Underwood met his match
It's pretty ironic that even though Petrov is a dictator, he cares more about the will of his people than Underwood does, the president of a democracy.
or he says he does, taking what he says to Frank at face value is like taking what Frank says to well anyone at face value. what he's most concerned about is staying in power and avoiding 'blood in the streets' in this regard Petrov/Putin is much more likely to hold onto his power for longer.
@@AlexC-ou4ju I agree that Petrov is ultimately self-interested, but that is precisely the irony of this scene. The dictator has to care about the will of his people to stay in power whereas the leader of a democracy less so.
Isn't it ironic how the so called dictatorship was more democratic than the so called democracy
It just tells us that russians are awful people. Because their leader, who really appeals to their desires, does horrible decisions
its amazing americans can watch this and not see any similarities to the real world. And then fully get behind the war in ukraine and ask no questions lol.
at least america is free enough to have this kind of show. Russian house of cards would be every episode of muahahahah glorious Russian president always outsmarts devilish western fools. Also shocking how Russians fully got behind the neocolonialist war in Ukraine and asked no questions. the Old adage says if you want to know whether you're free see who you can't question. Navalny is in Prison on trumped us charges, Moscow Mitch is free to challenge the war in Ukraine.
"i don't take chances" that didn't age well...
не стоит вести переговоры с узурпаторами
Feels odd to watch it today that Kevin Spacey was acquitted of all the charges on him - what a great show HoC might have been if they kept him instead of purging for what proved to be a witch hunt :(
Grand Admiral Thrawn has been doing it for years
"Is HOC going to be subtle about its virtue-signaling as it relates to real-time politics? Of course it isn't."
I cant wait for Thrawn
That accent is terrible
The last lines were soooo GRAND ADMIRAL THRAWN. The delivery, wow.
When I found out this was the same guy who voiced Thrawn (and Mads’ brother) I lost my fucking mind, just not in this art of war 😜
Grand Admiral Thrawn is here
POV: Prot confronts Grand Admiral Thrawn
I wonder if, after this conversation, Francis googled the list of Russian cabinet ministers, and tried to use his gaydar to figure out which two of them were gay... 😂
For those of you who don't know, Petrov is Lars Mikkelsen, Mads Mikkelsen's brother.
i watched house of cards now in 2023 and realized how far and deep american imperialistic propaganda goes: they smear and insult russia/putin with every chance while smuggling in a sense of nobility, whitewashing even in their slimiest, most sinister and evil politicians. the way they portray russian president (obviously indicative of putin) is a total self projection and yet they fool the world, and themselves, with these delicately crafted drama. the hypocrisy of the so called "freedom" and "democracy" in the russia related episodes, is deafening given the fact it's a disgrace, america as a hegemony.
Lol,the show take shots at América and his politicians many times. Russian house of cards will Be Russia being the Best country ever a d destroyer their enemies
Истина је права,"О Мајко,Мајко, Свет је пакостан,Живот је Мајко врло Жалостан " кад се сетим моје уснуле Мајке.
Ok... I didn't watch the show so I may not understand the context of this scene completely but... Creators of this show showed us as way more radical people than we actually are. No one would actually care about government freeing a protester (even if he's gay) except for the liberal opposition. Especially if it's done quietly, without attracting anyone's attention.
Wasn't there a huge fuss about a WNBA player arrested in Russia recently?
@@choicemeatrandy6572 honestly, I didn't notice, literally no one among people I know talked about this.
@@RedWanderer26 So that means it didn't happen? What sorta logic is this? 😅
@@choicemeatrandy6572 no, that's not what I meant, I wanted to say that I didn't know that this player was arrested and I found out about this only thanks to you.
"Revolution sneaks up on you, one small step at a time" Petrov was right, and Frank wasn't too proud or too foolish to see those steps, as Freddie, Jackie, Remy, Heather, Catherine, Garrett, Claire, and eventually Doug slowly turned on him and drove him from power
Wasn't Doug against Claire? He would always come back to Frank regardless.
@@BlackDiamond2718 Doug killed him
@@whyiaskyou thought that was claire
Doug killed him to preserve his Legacy I think.
And to think that this guy is a whitewashed version of Putin.
I often find that when people ask what Putin's real stand on gay rights is, this would probably be the best interpretation of it.
I wouldn't be so sure of that.
@@Donnerbalken28 It's very hard to know when Putin is playing the game and putting on a show or if he really believes what he is saying.
Petrov looks like tall Putin.
honestly, I don't think it's in anyone's blood to hate people for being different, it seems like learned behavior, so as Russian I disagree, and I think Gorbachev did a good job, especially since the Soviet Union was on the road of destruction anyways, after all that fake moon landings designed to make soviet people envious and poor money into space industry to basically go bankrupt in the long run
Darth Vader: Thrawn, you trigger-happy blue lunatic! Give me that blaster and hold it, right there! Thrawn: [nervously] Watch it! That thing's loaded! [Vader angrily shoots the last bullet in Thrawn's chest] Darth Vader: Now it ain't loaded!
It's suprising to meet a man who understands power even better than Frank Underwood himself, yet with less than a quarter of the screentime and with little to no background on his ascension to power we know Petrov is for sure a more powerhungry and viscious presence.
Yeah say what you will about season 3, Petrov was the best part, especially in how he was able to outwit the Underwood’s. Sadly he gets diminished.
i think they're on the same playing field just two different backgrounds like petrov pointed out. Frank's trying to tackle this from a western american lens but that doesnt fit in russia and that's what worries Petrov
Lars Mikkelsen (Petrov) is Mads Mikkelsens brother
Spacey is Epstein's brother lmao
At least marching to Ukraine became true......
Probably because in this show the western elite were revealing Putin.
Petrov basically is a young putin?
Basically put Putin in the show but changed the name.
Tall Putin
Frank: Everyone thinks you’re a tyrant. Viktor: Pshtt, I don’t care!
