@@WidyaAsoka thanks a lot for the kind words 🧡
it's so expensive here that even Norwegians watch a video to find out
@@huxe100 haha that’s a good one. Love it 😅
Great video guys. Very informative and helpful. Your English is very good. We’re going to Tromso for the first time soon, so loved this. Thank you ❤
@@arthurwright9031 thank you! Oh I’m so happy for you (a bit jealous too 🤭). I wish you see the strongest northern lights ever 💚
I saw the northern lights for $50! went up the cable car around 8pm and had two hours of lights!
@@jrzshor that sounds amazing! Up there seeing the city should be spectacular!
Pet them & eat them omg 😅
You’re right; it can be a bit of a culture shock. They explain how they care for their reindeer, moving them with the seasons. They only sacrifice a few for meat, using everything-including fur for clothing-as part of the circle of life. Tourism now helps them sustain this way of life, and they share some of the meat to teach us about their traditions.
Great content! Thank you, very helpful! 💕
@@WeronikaBryjak oh wow thank you for the support 🧡
so usefull, thank you very much!
Eggs in ramen are served cold, the soup warms it up a bit so that's perfectly normal.
Hi there! However, I believe not fridge/almost ice cube cold. It was really the worst ramen I had in my life. Also, my boyfriend did not get mushrooms at all even when he should have had. An accumulation of bad or very bad things did the trick😅
@@Nature4U1 That's unfortunate. Fridge cold is quite normal, but maybe they put it in after the broth has been poured onto the noodles.
IN which month did you visit?
Thanks! Coming to Tromsø in October. Been to Southern Norway where my parents were born, but really looking forward to north of the Arctic Circle.
Gracias
Great video. Great sense of humor about things as well. Glad you survived! We'll be there in December, so this helps us.
Haha thanks ☺️ I’m very happy for you guys! We were there end January to start February so it may be similar conditions but I believe in December it’s should be a bit less light (and more aurora chances maybe?). Super happy it helped 👏🥳
Did you go in July?
Hi there. We were there from end January to mid February. Hope it helps :)
Thank you for posting this. Super-helpful 😊
Hi there! Super glad to hear it helped you. Thanks a lot ☺️. Have a lovely day
me and my gf are headed to tromso in september. we are students, so im doing some financial research. thank u for helping! :D
Very happy for you. You will definitely love it! Happy to help 🫡🤗
get an airbnb and cook, eating out is horrendous. can really recommend the sushi all you can eat too, if its the same thats in the direction of polaria, price okay and food was good. rent a car in advance, dont book any tours, the prices are throught he roof and they cant even take the best routes and often leave too early.
Thank you for this review and video. You answered all of my concerns, so helpful. Thank you
I’m so glad you found the video helpful. Thanks for the kind words! And have an incredible journey in the north of the planet 🌎
It is the rock formation around a fossil, inside there was a form of life that died before and over time that rocky form was given.
So I saw the rock but missed the fossil, maybe next time. But still, pretty interesting to know that it was in contact with a fossil. Thanks a lot!
Seems to be flint where an ancient sponge was once preserved inside or symply it formed like that as a limestone ball was contained inside as those flints formed in those layers. It mostlikely got washed out.
Oh wow thanks a lot for your expert info. I appreciated it! Very interesting 😮
@@Nature4U1 Not really an expert, just find them like that a lot and I work a bit with flint in general so yeah.
I found it some months ago but I just asked Chat GPT with pictures and it is not sure… so anyone smarter than an AI?

Headed to Tromsø in a couple days. Your videos have been really helpful for us to prepare - thank you! :)
Thanks you for the kind words, I’m so glad to hear that, it made my day 💙. Have a wonderful time in Tromso 🗺️
Looks like it'll be student food for me 😅
It’s quite expensive yes. We spent many days with just pasta and hot chocolate, and that’s also ok 😅
Thank you, I downloaded the apps. Good to know that buses need to be hailed. Here in Germany I did it once and the driver was very grumpy, saying "I'm not a taxi". haha
Very very welcome. We also live in Germany and I can imagine you got some rude looks stopping a bus, here is so easy to make someone angry LOL. That’s also something different you will notice, everyone is like having a great day everyday, amazing! Have a great time there!
It is not really necessary to hail the bus per say, the busses will stop if you simply walk a couple steps forward from your bus shed or start reaching into your pocket for your phone, the driver know what to look for, as locals we simply "ignore" the bus if we are waiting for another route and most of the time the driver picks up on that and drives by, sometimes tho he stops for you and it can be a bit awkward when he realise you are waiting for another bus hehe.
@donkrkonto thanks for the feedback. Being local it may be common sense to know that, but for us being from Spain and Germany was definitely not 😅. We missed one night bus because we were sitting on the bus station hoping the bus sees us being the only people in that station and stops, which is what it would have happened in our countries. Well, it was an experience and it definitely makes sense, I agree.
You just made our trip to Tromso feasible!:) Thank you so much!
So glad to hear you liked the video! I wish you guys have a wonderful time there 🗺️
Great video❤,Friends Thanks for sharing. Wishing you best I love color of the water 3:34
Thanks a lot friend! The water had indeed an incredible color, like in a postcard. Apparently glacier water is that pretty 😍

are those high boots necessary, in march for example? I have Sh900 boots but they are short :C
Hey there! If you're heading to snowy places like nature spots, I'd recommend going for long boots. It keeps the snow out of your pants when it's deep. But if you're cool with a little snow or can snug up your pants, your current boots look cozy and should work fine!
Great video! I may book fhe reindeer tour too. May i ask home many layers did u have? (upper body and lower body) and at what temperatures? 😅
Hi there! The reindeer tour was amazing, you will definitely love it. I was wearing a thermo shirt, with then a warm shirt (long sleeves both) and then the jacket. In this video i show all details about the clothes I wear in Tromso, and I wear it no matter if night or day, because it was freaking cold no matter the time XD. lets go to norway to have sushi and pizza, you disgust me
I saw that in Tromso, sushi restaurants are very common, don’t see the bad thing of trying them. About the pizza, don’t know what you may have against it but we like pizza so we ate it. But please, elaborate your hate xD… what would you have tried? Any restaurant in mind? We may try it next time.
Thanking you! visiting TROMSØ next week after doing shopping, recommended by you!
Oh wow next week? So cool! I’m very glad to know the video helped you :) What did you get? Any question let me know and maybe we can help 😊
Fantastic video! Thank you 🎉
Thanks a lot. I'm very glad you enjoyed 🥳
I just spent a week there hoping to see the northern lights. I took a 4 hour boat trip on the fjord, but no sign of the northern lights. Very disappointing.
Right? In the city of tromso I had the same situation. I saw a very tiny aurora but thats it. When I staid a bit outside the city in a cabin is when I saw many...I cant understand how so many people see auroras inside tromso city. Thats why I thought I should comment it in case it helps someone. If you want to try to hunt auroras in the future I have a video with the tricks to actually see auroras. I wish I would have known that before.
Thx helped me a lot
Very welcome. Glad it helped you 💙

Hi can you suggest is it possible to witness northern lights mid feb
Hi there! Totally! We went to Norway end January to first week February and we saw plenty. I bet you won’t have issues, just follow the little steps I explain in the other video of Tromso on how to hunt the auroras better and it will be easy 🎊 enjoy your adventure!
@@Nature4U1No guarantee though. I was in Tromsø 8-11th of February, didn´t see the northern lights at all. Not even at an 8 hour "northern lights chase" bus trip, or at the top of Fjellheisen, despite having lots of clear weather.
@@mimosa7070 Exactly, its a bit of luck and also good to know some tricks. I also went on an 8 hour bus trip to hunt auroras, and many other auroras adventures and got almost no auroras. However, after 2 weeks I started to know how to hunt them better and learned some tricks. Its a bit long to explain but you can watch it here ua-cam.com/video/zgDc3e8RBEk/v-deo.html.
AMBER IS MY NAME BRUH-_-
Hi Amber. Such a beautiful name 🥰
Chalcedony = agate i.e. a volcanic mineral with 6.5 scale hardness. Amber = Fossil i.e. fossilized tree resin with 2 hardness scale. From the texture and stripes on the stones, you have common beach agates. I find them just as translucent and see through on my local beach.
Hi there. Wow thanks for all the info. 🧪We did all tests with the Amber stones (UV light, salt water, sound, weight and color) and they passed all test as Amber. Here some examples: - UV light test: these stones shine fluorescent like amber does. Agata does not shine. - salty water: these stones float in salty water, but ágatas don’t float. Also they are found at the beach of the Baltic Sea, which is known for having amber. And we found them after a strong stormy day, which also helps the ambers to be visible. You can check all these tests we did in the other shorts :)
Thank you so much
You're most welcome 🤗
Hello. Unfortunatly the cabin will be booked for the days we want to go. Is there other good places woth cabins for the sightseeing? I can't really trust promoted google searches.
Hi there. You are totally right, I also need a more "realistic" information. Although we did not try other cabins, I can tell you my secret to finding spots: check out time-lapse webcams of the location and check which spot has the most clear sky at night. I found this website with many webcams around the area: www.windy.com/-Webcams/Norway/Troms-og-Finnmark/Laksvatn/E8-Lavangsdalen/webcams/1675206490?69.572,17.886,9. I hope it helps you a bit and let me know if you have further comments or questions :)
