As someone who struggles with insomnia, and a love for RuneScape, this soundtrack immediately puts me to sleep

Just grinded some rc to this, very relaxing late at night.

People here write only the best things about OSRS.. I started playing in 2003, when I was 13. Few years later - got few 99s, almost quest cape, grinding everything like crazy.. Very beautiful experience in game, but not that good in RL. In 2012 I lost full Bandos (100mils) by hack and that made me quit for good. If I could find those guys now - I would not know how to thank to them enough because they got me out of the OSRS claws. Well, still listening to this music FTTT because I love it, it calms me down and brings me good memories. But those 10 years were thrown away. I missed some very good opportunities because of RS addiction, so I wouldn't log in never again in my life! Its worse than heroin addiction for sure.

I was 12, when I got my first membership… I didn’t know anything better and I went to Edgevil and picked rune arrows of the ground.. it was almost Christmas time and I spend hours picking rune arrows of the ground and looking whatever was left.. in the midst of all these I remember I picked a dragon dagger.. I jumped of me chair and started celebrating..

28 years old now. I remember being 12 and someone gifted me my first armor set, I went on to battle imps over and over. I was so proud of myself 😂 I remember begging someone for a party cracker in hopes I could have a party hat. I’d play online so late, I’d be nearly asleep on the bus the next day. Life was so simple then…

This is the biggest case of anemoia that I can think of. I've never played Old School Runescape and yet, I feel the nostalgia for that time as a kid discovering new games and playing online for the first time

I'm 32 years old and I listen to OSRS playlists ALMOST every day to get me through my work days and I don't even play much anymore lol. It will always hit different

I remember going to the library to play RuneScape secretly because I had an hour time limit at home. Would play for hours there and got my first 99 (cooking cape) at the library. Good memories

Still remember how I got introduced to Runescape in 7th grade, would skip classes to play it at nearby Internet cafe, at old people's home.since didn't have a computer yet at home. Get in trouble daily with teachers, for being late or skipping class. Was stupid as hell, but I never regretted it, nor as I'm typing this.

Runescape is my childhood. Some of the best memories of my teenage life... Really miss it. Hopefully when I retire the game is still there :)

Man, we grew up together. In a weird way I feel like I know the people in this comment section even if we’ve never met. I wonder how many of us have met online or walked past eachother years ago. Here’s to all us fellow late 20’s early 30’s folks who shared that experience. Maybe we’ll hop back on one day.

I'm 30. I love reading these comments down below of people with their RS experiences as a kid. We could probably all spend days talking about little tales here and there from our RS times the past 2 decades. Crazy how time flies. As I personally get older, the nostalgia is hitting me harder and harder each year. That's probably the only reason I still play OSRS every now and then. Yearning for those simpler times as a kid. No game makes me feel more nostalgic than RS (Oblivion sure is a close second though).

Thank you for making this playlist. I've been using it as background music to help me write, and I almost can't put pen to paper without it these days. The song selection & rain are a truly relaxing combo.

The only problem with the video is that the rain gets progressively louder to the point you can't hear any of the music.

Late twenties now but this soundtrack is timeless. Osrs will likely be one of the first games I play with my sons as they get old enough.

+1 on making the rain either feel more "it's outside while I'm inside" or just a little subtler in nature in comparison to the music. Right now it's a tad bit overbearing to where it's really easy to hear where the audio loops. Either way, I'm so fuckin happy someone thought of this and made it. ♥️
