I super appreciate this series already -- I've got a strange home office (below ground, lots of doors, very low ceiling, one small "garden view" window, but actually quite a large space). I've been fairly stuck about how to make it work for me and have had some analysis paralysis. I just did my goals and SWOT and I'm looking forward to following along with the rest of the series!

I love all of your videos so please keep them coming! We recently had new flooring installed throughout and only brought back in what we needed or loved. The living room (my office) only has my desk (and plants!) and I’m struggling to determine what seating option I should include. But I also love the idea of the standing desk🧐. Love your sense of humor about adding a bunch of stuff so you have to dust…won’t be happening here 🤣

As a disabled person I basically do the opposite of this. I have a wheelchair and a higher stool with wheels so I don't have to stand pretty much ever. I make sure I have either a wall or a sturdy piece of furniture with two steps from everywhere, to have something to help me regain my balance when I do walk and I make sure I have all my things where I use them, so I don't have to spend energy I don't have to go grab things. Also, almost exclusively closed storage, naturally

Are we allowed to suggst topics? I would love to nerd out on universal Design and how to create homes for sensory overloaded people, People and different Kinds of disabilities. I have to be in a laying position 90 percent of the day and am considering of getting 2 beds, one instead of a sofa but to make it somehow look sofaish. There is little design content talking about accoustics in rooms, designing for different abilities and needs.

Here I disagree with you. A cheerful (bright) color like soft green is better against depression than a bright but cold white on the walls. But everyone should design according to their own taste.
