Guys today is august 23, 2024 & right now as a platinum dasher I haven't been able to schedule because whenever I do now, i'd click save dash & then it'll say "this timeslot is no longer available, pick a different time." I then called the VIP support and I couldn't get help. has any of you guys that are platinum dasher are having these issues right now?? i live in the fresno area & they also moved the 70% ar back to 80% i remember the first day I heard the update and I was able to "dash anytime" & now its' longer there

I often order delivery and my experiences with Doordash have overall not been good. Orders delivered partially. How can a driver leave the business and not have the complete order with them? How could this happen? The order is printed out. The store and the driver should be able to see it. So, who is responsible for the delivery person to have all items with them before leaving? I also see many time Doordash drivers unable to follow GPS directions. Living in an apartment building, I've had deliveries left outside the door to the building, easy pickings for anyone walking by. Leaving orders at other apartments is common. I always leave extra directions to my building and apartment, but they still manage to mess things up. Customer service continues to down spiral. Common sense further erodes. The person in this video makes it seem virtually effortless to pick up an order, then deliver it. It doesn't happen too often.

Whenever I order I put a tip like that on it but I tip another 4 dollars after I see the delivery has gotten to my house safely and isn’t opened or anything. I have done this for a while. So I don’t know you never know.

I make short Uber trips to the local store and tip 50% to 80% depending on the driver. Yeah, y'all are going to call me cheap, but a retired person doesn't have a lot of money to splurge. It'll cost me almost $20 for a trip shorter than this.

It depends on the situation. If it's close and a good tipper then do it. I've gotten extra tips for it. But if it's far away. Contact doordash and say fuck them. One time i had a really good tipper, wrong address. She said "I'll tip extra"........ but she was a good tipper so i said "No need you tipped enough" hoping that would bring maybe extra tips and I didn't get anything. But it was worth it in the end. I think it was like 10$ for 2 miles. Then the corrected address was .7 miles away.
