Vinland saga truly changed me. At first a didn't truly understand you have no enemies and that nobody deserves to get hurt. I didn't think this was true and I believed that some people are bad and do deserve to be hurt. But after watching the show I realize that what Thors said here is true. We are all just people put into this world trying to do are best to survive and do what we believe is best to accomplish that feat. Even if it means we hurt and kill other people. But at the end of the day none of us are born evil we are all just products of the environments we grew up in which forces some of us to believe that hurting and killing others is the only way to live one's life.

It's heartbreaking when legendary shinobi like Jiraiya felt his life is full of failure. I think this pivotal point that made Jiraiya is so relatable character and his death is hits us so hard.

Boruto could’ve been a good show but man did they screw it up. Unlike Naruto we have nothing to root for boruto for… Watching boruto is like watching how Naruto’s life would’ve been like if he wasn’t a jijuriki and if Minato and Kushina were still alive. Borutos a prodigy in class and grows up in a safe loving house hold. He has jutsu, skills, power, etc all for damn near free. he’s got it all right from the beginning which makes the show so not interesting. On top of this I started watching it bc I wanted to see Naruto/sauske in their prime/success. But… they pm ruined that when they nerfed them pretty heavily also getting rid of Kurama one of my favorite characters. Tbh wtf was kishimoto thinking…

I watched shippuden and I know it's coming that Jiraya will die at the hands of Pain, I was stopping myself not to watch the episode, and all I expected that Jiraya will also be revived in war arc but it never happened...💔.

No matter how many times I see this episode (I’ve been rewatching the series for almost 2 decades now). No matter how many times I see it, I still get watery eyes when I see Jiraiya die. It’s like I actually lost a mentor in real life. It’s so strange how we can connect to people that we know don’t exist, but they somehow exist in our hearts based on our connection to a show/anime.

Shout out to Shiakaku for telling his son to ignore the others and hang out with Naruto. Back in the day when everyone treated him like shit for being a jinchuruki.

saauke doesn't actually knows that much about jiraiya to tell boruto about but still he respected him mostly for what he heard from naruto about him and he trusted what naruto told him

Naruto was so sad after Jiraiya's death. In Naruto's words, he just always showed the uncool side of him. Its all thanks to Iruka Sensei and Shikamaru who cheered up Naruto. Jiraiya, his death was a blow to all of us. Everytime i watch this, i cry - its because this character is such well written. Thats what a good show does. It has created an unseperable bond between the character and his audience. Masashi Kishimoto, Arigatou Hosaimasu !!

Jiraiya needed to understand that he has succeeded, he trained the most powerful ninja, without his teaching the world would have been so much darker. He just needed to stop looking at his failures and start looking at the lives he's changed for the better.
