I think Karl's mindset is way ahead of all of us. An inevitable consequence of taking on the challenges in life, is a gradually depleting sense of happiness. No matter how successful you are in your career, you will never sleep at night with the peace of having an angel by your bedside, watching over you. He's managed to keep a chunk of his childhood intact. I'm sure we'd be best friends if we ever met. 😂

The last guy, Will Self, I wondered where I'd seen him before, and I realized that many months ago I had seen a video from the London Review of Books of this guy wandering around Prague talking about Kafka. He got to Kafka's grave, starting blithering about how nobody really appreciates Kafka properly (unlike him, I'm sure he imagines) with his pants down and his intergluteal cleft on full display. Very embarrassing, and I can only think was edited in such a way to poke fun at the guy; and rightly so.

You also can’t see how big different parts of the brain is by simply looking at the skull. It’s quite ironic too that he calls Karl ignorant for not knowing politics and then starts talking about Sherlock Holmes who himself had pretty much no knowledge when it came to philosophy or politics.

That last "intelligent man" he's merely well read. Other than that he's a narcissist. Anyone who is TRULY knowledgeable knows that they know yet nothing! Additionally, what we are here to learn is to be compassionate to ourselves and others. So that man is about as far from that mark as you can get! As far as David Icke goes, whether you believe what he says or not, you can clearly see he is kind and compassionate and he at least has the balls to say what he believes, no matter how much he is bashed. And he is also not threatened by someone elses point of view. And THAT I can respect! For me, it is Karl's childlike view of the world and his raw honesty that makes him a beautiful person. It's refreshing.

I struggle to interpret information from a book. I struggle with theoretical concepts and putting them into long term memory. However, it don't make me stupid if I can't do something. The most intelligent aspect about humans is their ability to learn in many different ways. The most important thing for you is to learn in the way that best suits you. It don't matter what you learn as long as you allow yourself to learn. As long as you enjoy what you love learning about, then you are winning within yourself.

It don't matter how the world sees you but how you see yourself. For you are you and you were created to be you. And you are one of a kind just the way you are. Don't compare yourself to others. You will never be the same. Maybe the more we are ourselves maybe the more we will see of ourselves. The strengths and the weaknesses

I think it'd be an interesting idea for Karl to gather all those people he met into one room and just sit back and watch them all debate - it's weird and silly to try to define 'intelligent' or 'happy' and even sillier to try to marry the two together. I absolutely adore Karl - I only wish he could reflect on his life and just enjoy what he is. I mean, I would guess I'm smarter than he is, but so what?!? I haven't hosted a record-breaking radio show with two other celebs, I haven't traveled the world on someone else's expense. He's led a big, impressive life.
