3:23 when you unplug the stock connector, do you lose functionality of the two back USB-C ports? or does the new connecter allow them to connect back? i’m not sure if the stock connector does anything or if it has a plug on the new connector for the stock connector to plug back in. Lmk!
@@ZeeDuke its a Y-Connector, so everything works as OEM. The back two USB ports will work as usual 😎. No worries there.

A recent Tesla software update broke the battery level and range estimate display on my 2023 MYLR. They are not correct any more. I am still trying to find a newer firmware that can fix this issue. If anyone knows the official site, please share. Thanks!

@@conchobar I was on CAN 2. My 2023 MYLR (built by Giga Texas) is on Tesla software version 2024.21.5 and FSD 12.5.1. I needed to upgrade the mini display's firmware to 6/14/2024 (Tsl_V300) edition if I remember correctly. If you bought the mini display from Tesery like OP did, contact Tesery support directly, they will send you a link to the new firmware. Once installed, you'll have access to the new CAN 3 option. It is all good now. I assume you will all have to do this sooner or later...
The part I needed to see is the part that got skipped over. But I don't think I want to do it how you did if it involves drilling though.

Hey folks I'm gonna help some of you out. I was absolutely about to give up on getting that wire through the cable gasket between the door and the car. Fishing it through would simply not work for me. I ended up liberally wrapping the cable in electrical tape and then pushing it through. You will have to get it started pushing your fingers through but once you reach the ridges in the gasket you can use them to push through the wire. I was ready to throw in the towel after 3 hours of this and then going about it this way got the wire through in 5 minutes. Good luck!
@@robertyoung8615 many ways to get the job done. I’ve installed more than 10 of these kits fishing the wire through. Glad you figured it out though.
@m3jazz did you have any issues connecting the phone app, LED LAMP, to your lights? I have an iPhone and I've tried multiple times but the app won't connect to the lights in my Tesla. I've restarted bluetooth and reinstalled the app many times but it still won't connect. I was just curious if anyone else has had this issue.
@@hadleyempire hey there, I did like the second day I installed them, but restarting the app and disconnecting bluetooth worked for me. I have not had any problems since then. I hope that works, if you continue to have any problems I would contact them and they may send you a new Bluetooth controller. I know they are coming out with a new one to allow some new cool features 🤙🏽
@@m3jazz ok, thanks for the reply. Just to clarify the bluetooth controller is the same as the main module/controller right? I sent them an email telling them about my issue, so hopefully they send me a replacement controller.

Hi do you know how to enable drl on mazda 3 mine is imported one from japan in australia but drl doesn’t light up on start they glow when i on them manually from light button unlike other mazda signature lights

I have bought this product, and I had very low quality/ugly products with visible flaws. I have been writing the company for two months, sending pictures, and they acknowledges the flaws, but haven't sent me my three defect parts yet. I live in Denmark and I feel I have been writing and AI in China. My product had air in the lights so they were super ugly in daylight. Apparently a flaw in the making, they said. But astonishingly they are promising me new parts but not sending any. It's the most weird service. Nothing makes sense. But glad so many had a good experience.
Sorry to hear about this for you, but they do follow up on their deliveries, so hopefully you get your new parts soon. They are also updating the product to make it better so people have less experiences like yours. So just be patient with them 🤘🏽

Hey dude, I know this is an older video, but did your drivers window still have the auto function? I just installed this kit and have auto windows now on the passenger and rear windows, but the drivers window doesn’t function automatically anymore

In case anyone finds this in the future, the solution was to fully close the window and keep holding the switch up for 30 seconds, then fully open the window and keep holding the switch down for 30 seconds

Not sure if you're still experiencing this or got a replacement but the Q&A page on LightingBug website says it is normal for the first time and that you have to use the app to change some things to get the dash strip to light up fully. Wonder if what they mentioned is actually the solution or you need new light strip.

I have previously done the taillights and headlights on my 2018 M3, and I gotta say, this car sucks to tint. The geometry of the taillights makes it annoying as hell to do, especially when you're not a pro. It looks like I'm going to be doing putting tints back on, so I'm less than thrilled about doing the work haha.

I would say a 2-4 hrs.

They automatically turn on and off with the car. You can also turn them off via the app, but that is not necessary

Just bought the mid-tier kit and UPS will deliver it this Tuesday, can’t wait! I’ve watched your video and LightingBugTech’s install video a bunch of times to be all set for the setup. Although the thing I’m must concerned about is how to properly hide the cables for the front footwell lights. You make it look so easy haha. Also LightingBug’s video shows how to do it but they removed the seats and in that way, have easy access to the holes in the rug. I’ll see how it goes, wish me luck!

@@m3jazz Update: Installed everything today, took around 3-4 hours. I wanted to make sure it looked as clean as possible, and oh boii, it does! Looks insane and creates a cool atmosphere in the car! And the best part is that it shuts itself off when leaving the car. One minor issue is that I can close the bottom A/C cover on only the right side. The left side wont close entirely (I’m guessing it’s because of the extra power cord cable?) Anyways, thank you so much for your video and support, Jazz 👌🏻👌🏻 Btw, how’s yours holding up?
