I did that but it engaged the handbrake. Even when down. I loosened until it was rolling free but then after driving I smelt slight burning smell and my car was going into and staying in boost way easier. I figured it was because the brakes were putting more load on motor. I’m gonna replace everything today as they’re old anyway

Yes I open ecu plate on both side and don't see anything burn. I try smelling ecu and nothing smell burn. Engine harness new. Before old harness might have something to do with it.

I was wondering ka24de ecu not turning while ignition is on, but the car still run. I check all fuse and relay are working, but don't know why ecu led not coming on. Could this be bad ecu?

I have a Nissan pickup ka24e can you chip it

I purchase NDS1 Android but it won't connect to my 1991 240sx using the USB consult adapter. This setup will work with my 1996 240sx.i created a minimalist harness with ECU and consult connectors only. ECU powers up but won't connect. I've tried 2 1991 240sx ECUs with no luck in and out of the car. Any ideas, hope you can help.

Why are both lights flashing at once on your example ECM? In Self Diagnostic Mode(3), my 1990 SOHC KA ECM flashes the red light for numerals of ten, and green light for single digits. I also read this online, "The codes are indicated by the number of both red and green lamps. First the red lamp flashes and then the green one. The red lamp correspond to units of ten and the green lamp to units of one. For example, when the red lamp flashes once and the green lamp flashs twice, this signifies the number "12".". Why is your ECM displaying differently and flashing both lights at once? Thanks in advance.

do you know electronic throttle controller? it can not only accelerate throttle response but also slow down throttle response of your car. It can provide you with racing car driving experience and also save fuel if you choose the economy mode. It is different from ECU tuning, it does no harm to your car .
