Had a Bright Red 2000 Sportage 2 wheel drive. Plus . Had it till she Passed away in 2006. She Loved that little Winny the Poo looking SUV . I was a great little Vechical. A Nurse got it in South Carolina got it . Amazing because my wife was a Nurse aswell.

I just bought one 1979 , for 1,750$ and I started to fix it, It became my apartment, next thing is to fix the engine and make it run, I told my Son that it is like a small house but real enjoyable , Plus the lot I rent is only 330$ a month,, I look to heaven every day and say" Thank you Lord, Thank you Jesus.Hope that you enjoy yours too.

Picked one up for 300, had 8 codes for O2 sensors and missfires, I got the engine firing right but for the life of me I can't find the down stream O2 sensor and I've searched the exhaust from header to exhaust tip, any tips on finding it would be greatly appreciated as you can't buy a chiltens or Haynes

Great Videos. So I have a 2000 Kia Sportage but there is not a O2 sensor fuse. I am having the same issue. Can you explain how you bypassed the fuse? I'm confused lol and have been trying to figure these O2 sensors out for ever

Finding used parts for these suck in my State. Since it was a car that was prime choice for cash for clunkers seeing how it couldn't compete fuel mileage wise with a Honda CRV / Chevy Tracker of same era. Has a Mazda 2.0 non interference but gets worse mileage then my ranger with a 2.3 mazda engine ever did.

I'm thinking of buying one of these as my first car. There's one for a good deal right now and it seems to be in very good shape from the pictures (we are going to look at it tomorrow). The person claims that he's had it for 3 years and all the repairs he's ever had to do were at the beginning and it was the water pump, radiator, and battery (it has only 130 000 km). I'm just wondering if these are good reliable cars for a first car to have.
