Nice transformation. Personally not the direction I'd have gone. What you started with was already fine in my book, a stock "Bobber" with some ware & tear on it and potential. Once running, I'd have finished the bobbing. Front fender, breaks, mirrors, indicators, horn, all that electronic garnishing on the handlebars (except clutch lever & a single throttle) gone. Replace the headlamp w/ old school chopper one. As for the rear, get rid of the fender & luggage rack (as you did) chain garde, indicators, mono shock (wield the hard tial on). Replace the number plate & tail light w/ a side mount Stop light combo. I don't know anything about modern engines or Triumphs, but agree with no muffler. Cheers from the States
Very nice job 👌🏼 My only criticism is the lines on the tank and side covers that are not parallel as can be seen in the outro…that would drive me a little nuts.
That is a beautiful machine. Love the paint scheme with the bronze and white like that. You're giving me ideas for my Scrambler 1200. I don't think my spine can take the bobbers suspension and riding position.
I saw this one for sale for ages at Superbike factory…. Looked rough as hell. Well done bringing it back to life. You should have made a series out of it.👍
I remember this bobber I was there when you picked it up and wow what a transformation it was absolutely hanging but yeah smashed it out the park again dude 👏
That is a restomod. It's crazy to see a Bobber so beat up; it's a relatively new model ... I rode my Gold Line yesterday! This is a banger video guys. Thank you!
Bike is awesome as always. If only i could suggest something is that the lines on the tank and the side fairing are not paralel to each other. Check 33:02 second in the video Maybe next time the painter could mark the lines when the pieces are on the bike, so he can paint them spot on. Other than that the look is pristine
Omg im french i dont understand your english accent 😂 but i follow you because all your projects are insane. Amazing color and lot of work on her. When my 4 children left my house in 20 years i buy one in your garage 😂 to live my Triumph dream. Continue like that with beautiful Monster!
Awesome bike and project. Better that this can easy be running the streets of Denmark and not like your right hand cars 😉 if i ever can effort a bike like yours i would in a heartbeat 👊😉👍 Cheers from Denmark 🇩🇰
Who is gaston? A new member to the TH team never seen them in a video before. Also great video, more like this as it's great seeing you work on non-new bobbers
🙋♂I know it is likely cost prohibitive, but is there a way purchase a Thornton Bobber in the US or shipped to US? Or are parts available to ship to US to transform a Bobber here?
yup we sell bobber in a box kits to the US Check it out on our website Thorntonhundredmotorcycles.co.uk. we are also heading to the US Nest year if you want jody to build it him self!
You lucky dog. I’m trying to finish fixing a 1973 Bonneville that was turned into a chopper peace of crap! Ape hangers, 10 over, bent front forks! King and queen seat! Harley rear fender! You guys have it too easy.
missed photo opportunity to have the two bikes together where you got your inspiration from. However, still a good video. Car or bike, its all about keeping them on the road.
Have you thought about branching into other bikes other than the Bobber ie maybe Indian Scout Bobber or other types of Triumph? The Indian bobber is one hell of a sexy bike; I think it looks better than the Triumph equivalent in standard form. With your touch it would be irresistible 🤤❤️✌🏻 BTW bike looks gorgeous..
Usually love your builds but not using the original engine . Even with water in it had me a bit bummed, not sure Id call it a rebuild more like a reswap.
@@ThorntonHundredMotorcycles just a tip, I hate removing a broken tap. Also make sure to use enough cutting fluid. We are all still learning in life. That's what makes you better everyday.☺️
Great job guys well done...I love the engine colour but the colour scheme on the tank just docent do It for me . I would slap pound notes on the table for that bike right now but that tank colour = deal breaker . with 22k on the bike I would call It a restoration .
I would describe it as a transformation not a restoration but above all it’s very nice 👌
Thanks for the Input, glad you like it! 🙏
Bro, restored or not, this is for sure one of the prettiest bikes yall boys have made. Mad love for this mucky build!
You said it 😮💨👑
LOVE the final color scheme and look!!!
Looks sick, I would love to see some bonnevilles and scramblers on the channel.
The Engine Color looks really Slick. Excellent Build
Thanks!
This is the best bike channel on UA-cam.
you know it ;)
Perfection, got that spot on , looks incredible.

Wish I could afford one of these bikes. Always so well done.
Sending love from Sydney, Australia, Love your bikes and hope to own one over here one day. Absolute masterpieces.
Very nice job 👌🏼 My only criticism is the lines on the tank and side covers that are not parallel as can be seen in the outro…that would drive me a little nuts.
love the new style of the bike and the colour of the engine. looks absolutely adorable - great job. greetings from vienna.
That is a beautiful machine. Love the paint scheme with the bronze and white like that. You're giving me ideas for my Scrambler 1200. I don't think my spine can take the bobbers suspension and riding position.
I’d just call it fabulous Jodie, great transformation in record time, congrats
ooof - that colour choice looks so mint.
i'd love to see it in a dark forest metallic green as well, but I am a sucker for bronzes.
keep your eyes peeled. 👀
Nice restoration! 17:45 Dont keep it yourself, make it a x-mas give away bike!
WHEN YOU TAKE THE NAME OFF OF THE TANK IT DONT EVEN LOOK LIKE A TRIUMPH
Watching this man do my dream job I can’t lie
Bellissimo video Bellissima ristrutturazione gli hai ridato vita, un grande professionista 💪💪

Beautiful work! Nice job!
Thank you very much!
Man that thing sounds like a beast.
That thing looks unreal. The engine colour was a genius choice. These bikes seem like an absolute riot to ride!
Love the Support, they are awesome to ride!
Mega, we’ll done, smashed it again 🙌
Cheers for the support!

Wow you guys are so clever well done 👏
Great resto, love what you are doing. I think you should do a "give away" comp with this bike! 😉👌👏
👀
So, you'll just replace most of the parts? Seems pretty straight forward, to be honest.
Decent build that! be interesting for you to do another video, opening up the old engine and see what was going on, if it was an ok engine or not.
Stunner !
Who the hell let’s their bike get that fecco’d
The bush
I hope it was a lack of interest and not a loss of ability.

Great to see you still got it. Lol for anyone who has used a thread tap saw that coming
Absolutely, no backout.....
Excellent work
Thank you! Cheers!
very beautiful bike I will say that much. I appreciate a bike getting a second chance and cared for. I do wish it had the original engine in it.
im 24 years old and never driven a bike but man i would love to start on a thornton hundred
Restomod , brilliant !!
Love the paint👏👏
Goals for the short term. I would love a bike like this but I love the twisted exhaust
You can have this one with a twisted! Get in touch ;) thorntonhundredmotorcycles.co.uk
Love the colour scheme, maybe bronze bars or fluid reservoirs would work too.
Cool bike bro
Thanks ✌
This was a fun episode!
Love your paint choices
I believe the word is....restomod. whatever it's sick. 👌🏼
A thin bronze pinstripe between the white & ???rootbeer??? Color on the tank would make it pop.
That engine colour is beautiful ❤️👍
It really is!

That looks amazing pal

Just watched all video , great rebuild, and your a double for Jack grealish ,

So good.
Good job 👍🏻
Thanks 😁
Good job
Thanks
Love it mate ye saved its life !!
Love the bronze colour, plus I ride Norco sight 😍
Killer Combo! 😮💨
Gotta say I preferred the look of the MK1 front tyre slim and sleek
Bad ass bike
big time! 😮💨
Looks fantastic might be buying new bobber soon 👍👍
do it! You know where to find us! ;)
I love your long videos ,I also love the bike and the colour l would put white wall tyres on it but that’s just me.
You've got to get more satisfaction in rebuilding that than just bolting bits on new or clean bikes
What size are the tyres back now front?
Love the videos!!
Thank you!!
Gr8 work❤❤

Should make an old school style bobber with maybe even a hard tail but seat position almost by the back wheel with maybe even pull back bars
Beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice job indeed. Just wondering how ,when its MOT time cos it an 18 plate ,you explain the non matching engine number on the log book?
Restomod!
Would love to see what you guys have done inside the engine. Was it bad inside?
Fantastic
Full restoration with all brand new bits 🤣
Yes. Nicest,
NEW 2018 out there 😂🤣👍✌️ AWSOME bikes BTW !!! Dream bike for me for sure👍👍👍✌️

Grave to cradle, 2 B loved.❤
Restomod 👌
How do you get those exhaust pipes through mot without muflers?
missed photo opportunity to have the two bikes together where you got your inspiration from. However, still a good video. Car or bike, its all about keeping them on the road.
are u doing giveaway or anything like that cuz im in love withthis bike created by you guys
👀

Just mental.
That’s pretty sic
God i wish i could get one of those

It should be give away to your subscribers 👍😎🤞
I would love to have one of your bikes. Unfortunately I live in the US and I'm poor !
I like it, I’d call it regurgitated 😂
Parked in a bush!?!
Looks like it was parked in the sea.
Engine colour pops in the sun.
What's the brand of you black cap/ camo jacket?
Thrudark, we built them a bike a few weeks back 👀 you should check it out!
@@ThorntonHundredMotorcycles Just found the vid. 😍👍👍
brown leather grips would be the finishing touch
😍
you guys have done an excellent job nice transformation and didn't the clock say 21 thousand miles?
21,950 🤯
@@ThorntonHundredMotorcycles ok are you rounding up?
Triumph Scabber 👌🏻
Absolute cop out you should've rebuilt the engine instead of just replacing it ppppffftt
16:18 i could see that coming from a mile away. When a tap is hard to turn, back it off.
Sorry we’re still learning 🌚
@@ThorntonHundredMotorcycles just a tip, I hate removing a broken tap. Also make sure to use enough cutting fluid.

Should have went with the white/off white frame. Black is far too played out, break the mould haha. That’s just my opinion
It would make a great giveaway bike!

Restorbished
Nice bike. 3K is cheap for a bike but quite expensive for a frame and a loom 😊
