My twin just passed away on July 30 from a drug overdose. I am choosing not to deal with it right now. It hurts too much. I really did love her and felt bad for her because she wasn’t strong enough to get lean. She used since high school and we were 61 when she passed.
Limbs being amputated and still continue to get high...this is one of the worst drugs ever . Pure addiction, taking away your mobility 😮 and young in wheelchairs .IM NOT JUDGING WHO AM I TO JUDGE but this is crazy

I would check on him if I lived there. I'm in canada. I'm always considerate of the homeless. When they ask for something I look them in the eyes and help if I have something. I wish them well and walk away. Some comment on how nice I am and they tell me most people don't even respond or look at them..

Absolutely. Heroin was still bad, but at least the majority of addicts didn’t have holes rotting out their limbs, and the number of deaths / strain on the emergency systems were way less
The number of OD deaths has skyrocketed in the last 10 years, at least 10-15x as many people per year. From 10,000 per year, to over 100,000 per year in the USA currently

For god sake’s just go into a rehab and suffer through the withdrawals. They will give you medication’s. That might at least take a little bit of the edge off. But it cannot be worse than what you’re going through right now and what you’re going to go through. How can it be worse than that? At least with the withdrawal you know it’s going to end. When you lose your legs that’s never going to end.

The problem is going through the withdrawal 10,20,30 times and relapsing over and over, eventually a person will stop trying ... this guy's been at it for 15 years I'm sure he's been through the withdrawal many, many times
@@Aaron-i4k I'm sure he's been through withdrawal, but he may not have tried to get clean as many times as you think. Not everyone wants to, which is a problem in itself. There are others who were using over 40 years and old,and they had tried a lot, and then something clicked and that clean for the rest of their life. A guy Russ my great uncle went to school is an example of that. He really just has to want it, not sure that he does anyway.
David, I'll be hoping and praying for you. You deserve so much better in life! You're still young, and able to get out of this without losing any limbs! Please get clean! I dont know you except from this video, but myself and countless others truly care about you!

Well tranq made it into Saginaw mi about a month ago. I got clean thank god before it hit here. I’m praying for all the poor souls still stuck in addiction 😢 This is such a horrible situation with the fentanyl and now tranq in the fentanyl. It's not only in Kensington. Tranq dope is in Chicago also. So beware. The dope in Chicago is often cut with xylazine as well. Tranq dope has been in Chicago for at least 18 months.

He's sicker than he thinks. His legs are shiny because they're so swollen. His wounds, some black is dead tissue. If the drugs don't kill him rageing infections will. He's got so many needles between his legs and one above his ear it looks like his chances for a full life are doutful...😢

Now he has a ton of scars from this drug!! It is impressive that he got himself to the hospital to save himself from being wheelchair-bound though!! That gives me some hope for him.

Prayers for this young soul. The cartels have drug traffickers in every major city all over our country. Fentanyl has even infiltrated into our small rural towns from the big cities. We live on the Oregon Coast in a very small town that has Fentanyl issues. Smoking blues which are oxycodone laced with Fentanyl. Meth is and has been a huge issue here in Oregon. Busloads of chronic users are being dumped into our towns from big cities. Eugene, Coo's Bay etc. due to their resources being drained. With over 9 million illegals to exasperate the crisis of drug abuse and homelessness. Does anyone honestly see light at the end of the tunnel ?? I think not. Our country is one big dumpster fire. 😞 😭 💔

I think even after what he’s been through and all the drugs he’s had he’s still very well spoken. I’d like to see him become clean and maybe become a boss somewhere. He’d have more empathy than a person who hasn’t been through things like this. Also I do understand about the withdrawals and the misery behind them. Methadone doesn’t have a *blocker like some people think, your tolerance just goes up so you need more of your drug to feel it , that’s all .

@@incantationsbykaryn I looked it up , methadose dose not have a blocker , it is just another name for methadone but just like methadone if you are on a high dose your tolerance will go very high & you will need higher doses of other opiates like H to get you high.
Example before I got on methadone I only needed $50 worth of H to get high, now on methadone I need about $200 to get same high , only because my tolerance has gone up , but there’s definitely ways around that like using benzodiazepines with H or going on a very low dose of methadone.

Methadone does have a blocker in it but unlike Suboxone it does not make you sick. The blocker builds in your system over time ao when you fiat get in the program if your still isong you will feel it but over time the blocker builds and you wont. It would be a complete waste or youd do so much youd die. I e been on methadone for four years now and it had been a life saver for me and has chamged my life. Everyone is different though amd im a form believer that however you choose to get to the path of sobriety is your business and if it worka for you its the right way

If your on methadone treatment you might need to go up higher on your dose, 130+mgs.
Methadone will creat a blocking dose. The creavings will eventually go away.

Several days after this was recorded someone I know was able to get him into treatment. Unfortunately he left against medical advice shortly thereafter.
