- Victor Orbán's visit comes only days after he made a similar unannounced trip to Ukraine, where he met with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and proposed that Ukraine consider agreeing to an immediate cease-fire with Russia. Shortly after Putin sat down with Orbán, he suggested the Hungarian leader came to Moscow as a representative of the European Council, despite several European officials condemning the visit.

If we try to understand further and deeper, there are background and reasons why Russia attacked. The same applies to Palestine and Israel. Did the war start on 7 Oct? Did Hamas "start" the war? Who is the party who refused to stop?
Innocently lives are taken as we speak. Dialogue and attempt to stop the sacrifice of innocent lives should be respected and appreciated.
By "trying" to blame one party is just not constructive at all.
Diplomacy is always better than war. Hopefully, both sides can come to an agreement.
Ukraine does not want to give Russia half of its territories, and Putin, in turn, wants a de facto surrender of Ukraine, peace talks imply compromise, but how can one compromise with those who deny the Ukrainians' right to exist? Besides, the majority of Russians (at least 80%, according to the Levada Center) support the war. It is useless to negotiate with these people, they do not recognize Ukrainians as a nation.
For peace to come, it is necessary to recognize Ukraine as a sovereign state with its own culture and history, to completely withdraw troops from its territory and to admit Ukraine to NATO, only then it will be possible to talk about any negotiations. In the meantime, aggression continues, and for Ukrainians this is a struggle for survival and freedom.
Russia can end this War this second by leaving Ukraine.

One of the ways to achieve long-term peace in Ukraine, considering the real situation on the ground, is the application of the Australian model of the political system, which has proven to be very successful.

Applying the same constitutional model, Ukraine would have its own parliament and prime minister, where the official language would be Russian, with the use of all other languages permitted. The Russian president will be at the same time Ukrainian head of state and the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian armed forces, and he would be represented by the governor general of Ukraine.
Such a solution would ensure peace and prosperity in Ukraine and Europe, just as it was the case with Australia, Canada or New Zealand.
