I dont know if it was a hornbasters video or not, but does anyone remember a really early one where they pulled up right next to a guy and asked for directions. The horn went off and the guy pulled a face and said 'what was that?' or similar, but the people in the car blamed it on a truck or something on the other side of the road which the guy seemed to accept, then they blew it again. That one's always stayed with me and I cant find it now. There was another one at night as well, with this drunk guy (veteran maybe) in a wheelchair, that shouted 'YES TRAINING!' or similar when they blasted the horn haha.

The horns they used in this video are a narrow font K3LA. A narrow font K5LA & a knock off horn.

It seems common in their kits, I've recently gotten the same sound with the same horns. They claim it's moisture in the system, but they will warranty them for life either way.

Gotta love those cops, sense of humor. Although I believe they should act differently if the horn was responsible for causing and accident or getting someone hurt. Way too many intolerant and anger management types find their way into police jobs. When I was a kid cops were always approachable for help but would put their foot in your ass if you stepped out of line much like what these officers seem like.
