You talked about leaving Christ embassy as though it's a big deal. Christ embassy is not for everyone. We all have our places where we choose to stay and worship God with contentment. I have also left other churches to come to Christ embassy and I'm enjoying it. We don't worship pastor Chris but love him like you will love your spouse and want to entrust your life to him or her. Following pastor Chris as my prophet and listening to him doesn't mean I'm worshiping him. I don't understand what you mean by worshiping pastor Chris. Do we pray in pastor Chris's name or perform miracle in his name. We only believe in the anointing and grace he carries. When you submit yourself to someone you hold in high esteem do you call that worshiping that one. Pastor Chris is a great teacher and full of Gods wisdom. African names are indeed beautiful and that's why my husband and I made the decision to name our kids only African names. No English names, and this is very unpopular in Kenya by the way, because some Kenyan parents even give their children 2 English names. It's high time we became proud of our culture

I try to be as open minded as possible. I think she might not hate the church or the pastor. She might actually love. It is just that it is not portrayed here for balance, and we should do that so to avoid people who just conclude it is hatred. Also, the truth is that some of these men have many decades in worldwide ministry and have seen a lot serving God. There are thousands of people around them that have known them for many years. These people are seriously bittered to see videos about a general they hold in very high regard and I think they are right. The respect they have make some of them cry literally to see such videos and their anger is heated to utmost temperatures. They really don't want to see any video or hear anyone talking about a high ranking general who has served God all their lives; typically reaching somewhat like a pope type. A little background on the whole shenanigans. Pastor Chris has always controlled or tried to control Sinach. When Sinach her first album, Pastor Chris wanted her label to be solely under Christ Embassy so that all royalties will come into the ministry. There was an argument over that, then Pastor Christ banned her from selling the album in Church. This was around the same time that Pastor Chris's Moments of worship came out (Christ Embassy OGs know this) he did that because he didn't want to share the moment with Sinach, or make people chose between buying her tape or his. Anyways Sinach went ahead to make the albums available for sale and Pastor banned his members from buying the album and even suspended her (she stopped her from singing at his healing programs) after a while with some elders begging Pastor on her behalf, they reconciled but things were no longer the same. As the years went by, Pastor refused some men's permission to date/marry Sinach and as she got older, this also became an issue. Several years later, Pastor prophecied on Sinach's life, saying she will become global and people around the world will know her. What Pastor Chris probably didn't realise was that such prophecy would mean that Sinach won't belong to Christ Embassy alone after that. She will become a minister to nations. With that her attention/ ministry is now divided between Christ Embassy and the whole world and will no longer be at Pastor Chris's beck and call. What finally broke the camel's back was the fact that Sinach went on to establish her own recording label which broke Pastor Chris's last hold on her. So obviously Pastor is upset. I said all this to say that that message is from pure hurt and envy and his loss of Control. Men of God are still human. The Bible contains the word of God and the words of Men, and some where stories/account of what happened. Even Paul in some instances said what he was saying was his opinion. As Christains, we need to be able to differentiate when a teacher is stating his opinion or preaching God's word. In this context, Pastor Chris was stating an opinion, cos the word of God does not change. Pastor Chris supporting the song, then castigating it years later is not scriptural, biblical or how ever you want to call it. He had an opinion before and he changed his position. Anyone who has been privileged to be at a leader's meeting know that Pastor Chris has a temper and can be very harsh, he has disgraced leaders during meetings just because things were not done his way. He has also walked someone out of an all night meeting before because he fell asleep. This was a pastor and partners conference that we all travelled far and near for. Don't take everything you hear from a man of God as scriptural. Sometimes they are emotional. And. God has given us talents to be used in his church, his kingdom and for our benefits. We deserve to eat the fruits of our labor. The gospel is free but not cheap. We are also to benefit from our service to God. After all the pastor is paid with our tithes.
You are 💯 correct. I was in CEC for years, Admin, PFCC, Cell leader, Marketer Ministry Materials, Etc. Everything You just type is correct. I left the when I realized and started reading the Bible. Before we were not even allowed to read and study any ministry materials that’s not Pst Chris approved. Hmmmmmm All I can say is CEC is a world on it own. No love no forgiveness no kindness, corruption, immorality etc, once u can bring money to finance the gospel, that’s all. Pastors are train on how to drain members from their resources. The list goes on. God has left CEC in Pst Chris hands long time again.

I've had the privilege to know some of the senior pastor outside the pulpit. The things I've seen and heard? No be here. The things they condone and cover up because the member has money. Also they will give u all the attention and title when u have money. Then when trials of life hits and the money no longer flows, they discard u like a rag. Christ Embassy has destroyed homes. They alienate their members from anything and anyone that would make them question the teachings. And what's sad is that the members don't know and may never know until they leave, because as long as u are inside a box, you can't see what's outside the box. If you truly know pastor Chris like you said you'll know that he's a very disciplined man. You can't be sleeping in his meeting. That's not a temper it's just discipline. You must have heard what he did to his own nephew. I've followed you for years and listened to you speak of Pst. Chris in different occasions, still haven't been able to figure one thing he did wrong. I love both Pst. Chris and Sinach, and her leaving the Church doesn't mean Pastor is evil! So many of us left Catholic for other churches that doesn't mean Rev. Fathers are all evil. You need to get born again first because you display a great deal of hate each time you speak of Pst. Chris, he's not God, he's a human like yourself who's capable of mistakes. I was invited to a branch of Christ Embassy in London by a friend and when I saw the way they worshipped this young pastor and he got to his head and showed this arrogancy in the way he spoke to congregations and his posture turned me off Christ Embassy Church for good. Now that you are saying why you left Christ Embassy, I can now relate it to my experience during my visits to this Church.

The scriptures says that we know we have passed from death to life because we love the brethren(1John 3:14). The early believers shared all things in common and continued daily in the apostles teaching and breaking bread from house to house(Acts 1 & 2). Following pastor Chris as my prophet and listening to him doesn't mean I'm worshiping him. I don't understand what you mean by worshiping pastor Chris. Do we pray in pastor Chris's name or perform miracle in his name. We only believe in the anointing and grace he carries. I try to be as open minded as possible. I think she might not hate the church or the pastor. She might actually love. It is just that it is not portrayed here for balance, and we should do that so to avoid people who just conclude it is hatred.
Also, the truth is that some of these men have many decades in worldwide ministry and have seen a lot serving God. There are thousands of people around them that have known them for many years. These people are seriously bittered to see videos about a general they hold in very high regard and I think they are right. It is jealousy. He may have felt that Sinach is shining more than him and his church.
A little background on the whole shenanigans. Pastor Chris has always controlled or tried to control Sinach. When Sinach her first album, Pastor Chris wanted her label to be solely under Christ Embassy so that all royalties will come into the ministry. There was an argument over that, then Pastor Christ banned her from selling the album in Church. This was around the same time that Pastor Chris's Moments of worship came out (Christ Embassy OGs know this) he did that because he didn't want to share the moment with Sinach, or make people chose between buying her tape or his. Anyways Sinach went ahead to make the albums available for sale and Pastor banned his members from buying the album and even suspended her (she stopped her from singing at his healing programs) after a while with some elders begging Pastor on her behalf, they reconciled but things were no longer the same. As the years went by, Pastor refused some men's permission to date/marry Sinach and as she got older, this also became an issue.
Several years later, Pastor prophecied on Sinach's life, saying she will become global and people around the world will know her. What Pastor Chris probably didn't realise was that such prophecy would mean that Sinach won't belong to Christ Embassy alone after that. She will become a minister to nations. With that her attention/ ministry is now divided between Christ Embassy and the whole world and will no longer be at Pastor Chris's beck and call. What finally broke the camel's back was the fact that Sinach went on to establish her own recording label which broke Pastor Chris's last hold on her. So obviously Pastor is upset. I said all this to say that that message is from pure hurt and envy and his loss of Control. Men of God are still human.
The Bible contains the word of God and the words of Men, and some where stories/account of what happened. Even Paul in some instances said what he was saying was his opinion. As Christains, we need to be able to differentiate when a teacher is stating his opinion or preaching God's word. In this context, Pastor Chris was stating an opinion, cos the word of God does not change. Pastor Chris supporting the song, then castigating it years later is not scriptural, biblical or how ever you want to call it. He had an opinion before and he changed his position.
Anyone who has been privileged to be at a leader's meeting know that Pastor Chris has a temper and can be very harsh, he has disgraced leaders during meetings just because things were not done his way. He has also walked someone out of an all night meeting before because he fell asleep. This was a pastor and partners conference that we all travelled far and near for.
Don't take everything you hear from a man of God as scriptural. Sometimes they are emotional.
And. God has given us talents to be used in his church, his kingdom and for our benefits. We deserve to eat the fruits of our labor. The gospel is free but not cheap. We are also to benefit from our service to God. After all the pastor is paid with our tithes.

I was invited to a branch of Christ Embassy in London by a friend and when I saw the way they worshipped this young pastor and he got to his head and showed this arrogancy in the way he spoke to congregations and his posture turned me off Christ Embassy Church for good. Now that you are saying why you left Christ Embassy, I can now relate it to my experience during my visits to this Church.

I am a Christian, but i Don't agree with those whom attacks Sinach's song simply because pastor Chris dont agrees with it's lyrics. Me i love that song and it's a powerful. I don't see anything wrong with it. Sinach keep singing and uphold the name of Christ Jesus amen.

Prayerfully, look for another church you can join and share fellowship with other believers. The scriptures says that we know we have passed from death to life because we love the brethren(1John 3:14). The early believers shared all things in common and continued daily in the apostles teaching and breaking bread from house to house(Acts 1 & 2). Christianity is about fellowship with the father and His children "our fellow believers". Fellowship with other believers is an inevitable sign of your new nature in Christ. God bless you.
