"They acted angry and annoyed BUT SECRETLY THEY WAS OVERJOYED!"
This is my favorite movie
Rachel Renee hopefully uronically lol >3
Ironically* damn big thumbs hehe
nah, ussually when we are annoyed you better don't even talk to us.
This is genuinely one of my wife's favourite movies.
Love this movie but Crowder better do a remake of the entire film...might like his version better.😂
“Sounds a little rapey”
JewMakinBacon but just a little so no big deal
JewMakinBacon what this song no
John Smith 0r. 9. 11 yearolds
Reminds me of the Grapist
Ehhh no biggie only a little rapey not like it is a lot
My only problem with this video is that there is not enough of it
This has to be my favorite musical skit of his
Still cracks me up
Harvey Weinstein approves.
medusacries the phrase about pleasuring yourself in the plant must have been reference to him lol
Will K Wasn't that his first production?
Will K 👍
Hahaha!
Will K
That Winestain thing is so passe... so msm....
Not gay jared is funny af
"Aww gee I don't think I'm EVER going to find a MAN! -I mean woman"
LOL
Fair warning, that joke was too good to stay on UA-cam.
Unibyte talk about buzzkill. I laughed good and proper of this
can't have fun on this platform, better take it down!
A “classic”
People have lost touch with how important it was to find a woman who was fresh and young. Do you know how infrequently they generally bathed in the olden days?
Plus, masculinity only seems "toxic" until you really need a man to do a man's job. Ladies in the Wild West REALLY appreciated that.
It is a total classic because it's based on an ancient Roman legend yet the brothers are named after Biblical figures. Plus they're all redheads which seems to point to the Thracians, whom the Romans used to hire to be their warriors.
There are still today redheaded Italians with no Celtic genes. Their people came from the west-coast mountains of the Black Sea. They settled in mountainous regions of Italy. They were Eastern-European hillbillies.
Here's a UA-camr with Thracian roots who got picked to be on Tana Mongeau's "Trash" collab channel:
ua-cam.com/video/FcnKy9PZB-A/v-deo.html (Opening Up About My Past)
She doesn't have a Celtic bone in her body. She's Italian/Thracian and her relatives in Italy even live in the mountains.
The movie won an Academy Award for the musical scoring. It's a classic, dude! The only thing that's toxic is savagery. The musical simply addresses that.
I find the movies don't age well. TV and music I can still enjoy. But even some movies from the 90s seem dated.
Also, LOL this was hysterical.
StevenCrowder
Damn straight, it was an amazing classic!
Can you link me the statistics about guns that you talk about in all the change my minds from the cdc?
Maybe as a parody.
I actually love that film. The thing is if people actually take the time to watch the entire film they'll see the young brothers eventually learn that it's best to woo a woman rather than just taking her. So we see the brothers learn and grow as people. Not to mention it's a period piece and in that time this stuff was going on, but then the film twisted it and made a positive by having the men grow and learn that women do have value and should be treated as such accordingly.
The born of the baby girl was a turning point to learn they don’t want that to happen to a love one.
I agree
This is my mom's favorite movie and I've seen it countless times it's so funny
People ignore the character development. They are mysogenistic and ignorant, that's the point. It's also social commentary on men, they're depicted as sweaty slobs that can hardly take care of themselves and are super out of touch with relationships because they were all together with no women around fir so long. And.....that's true. Fellas? Anyone who has lived in an all male dorm?
Back me up here cause you know it's TRUE.
Put us together and we will be just like the brothers depicted here, and even more so if we were actual..... brothers...
They change their views and behavior as the movie goes on... due to the influence of the feminine into their mindset thus bringing balance and happiness.
The whole story is based on the book they're singing about, if ya wanna look it up.
They kidnapped women. There is no lesson to learn about love. They're kidnappers
I love the movie, too, and yes, the brothers do eventually learn and grow a lot, but in the back of my mind I still always have to wonder how much of the women falling for the men is as much stockholm syndrome as it is because the men grew. I get that it doesn't work for the pacing of the movie, but I would have trusted the women falling for the men more if they had gone back home for awhile and had gone on a few dates with their original boyfriends to see if the feelings were still just as strong and could survive reality.
"She'd only be making it worse."
Classic!
One of Crowders best skits !!!
I cant watch it enough, i even sent it to my mom, who has seen the original movie. pure hilarity
What did she think of it?
She laughed her ass off.. Sometimes her sense of humor surprises me, lol
You are braver than I. Not sure how my old mom would handle a joke about "throbbing peckers."
Hahahaha... my mom's pretty cool when it comes to that kinda joke. Our family holidays can Getty pretty absurd. The kinda stuff that I prepare my new girlfriends for the chaos.. all the good kind of chaos tho.
Actually she may not even get it at all. She told me that when she first got married to my father, she sewed up the front opening to all of his underwear thinking it was a factory defect.
All I can say, Brother Steven, is bless your beautiful hide!
It's only a matter of time before UA-cam takes this down. Literally laughing my ass off xD
Literally? I think you should see a doctor ;)
Indeed. If David's buttocks have literally (and not figuratively) detached themselves from his body, that's a serious medical concern.
Actually, though.
One of my favorite UA-camrs doing a parody of one of my favorite musicals?
*SHUT UP AND TAKE MY LIKE!!!*
Yes, I know it's messed up, but it's so funny as well.
8/17/2021: Holy shit, my how my views have changed since posting this.
I remember watching this, as a kid with my parents. Even then, they laughed at the absurdity of it. It was supposed to represent long ago, pioneer days and illustrated how far our society had advanced to that point. Men saw it as, "admitting"even STONG men, NEED women.
I seriously love that movie....Haha... Agreed the plot of the movie is weird..But hilarious..... I guess I am one of those few that realizes it is a movie...An escape....lol
L. Ost I grew up watching it as a kid & didn’t think a thing about it. As an adult & was like wow that plot is kinda awful. Still a good movie.
L. Ost We may be one of the few, but we're the sane few...
rachybaby72 haha.. so true. :)
Me and my mom always laugh when the song comes on cause they're so stupid. And that's the point, it's supposed to sound wrong.
I will never not love Seven Brides. Its amazing.
Lol, I have always liked that movie.
Jared's face the last part of the song.🤣
Agreed, between his shocked face and the comment, it made it a hundred times funnier
Steven pulls a HAMMER out at the end. LOL Where did he get that?
I was in this musical in High School, I played Frank. lol was non the wiser at the time. he he
Queries Of The Interweb Frank was always my favorite ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Queries Of The Interweb
"none the wiser" about what?
That he drinks his milk from a saucer?
A bit of a "horse's hoof"?
Lol same, I was the preacher though
The world almost forgot about 7 brides for 7 brothers.....almost
Aaron Reali never
This movie is an absolute classic! Watch it every thanksgiving
Sven kinda looked like a hobbit in the parody 😁😁😁
Seven Brothers did nothing wrong.
Marcara081 awe man! I thought you said Sven Brothers did nothing wrong.
Kid napping your future wife is totally fine! Riiiiight.
Marcara081 Ya thanks to Millie!!!
Lmao! Love it. You guys are actually really good! You could probably make a parody movie and all the lefties would take it seriously....
Killereria he did.
I'm a lefty. I laughed.
And Killereria is not talking about you being left handed. :)
M24C lol yea, I got that. I'm a right handed lefty though.
Toxic masculinity, objectification, it's all there, and I love it
Zaharia Ionut-Andrei of course there isn't........ Bless Crowder's hide !
Skeptis Trader Bear lol great!
I died when Sven-Computer gestured while singing "throbbing!!" 😂
Straight up, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is one of my all-time favorite movies. Talk about the media giving girls false expectations: it made me that bridal kidnapping could be romantic as a teenager. Fortunately, my fiance did not actually kidnap me for my hand in marriage.
I miss movies like that, not even what the movie is about, but the style, the looks, and sounds!
They look so classical and I just love it!
Awesome parody of one of my favorite movies!
Ok I'll admit the whole premise of the musical is rapey and Stockholm syndrome-ish.... But it's still a damn good musical 😂
Lonesome Queen I agree! I actually played Frank in this a few years ago, it was awesome
The last of the "Great movie musical" vs the rehash of plays. plus they got the actors off the lot and used their skills why they did the balancing/lumberjack "fight" for the woman at the dance.
Yea, the brutish men get kicked out and have to sleep in the barn, but they still put up with all the women's crap....And become civilized in the process. If that's Stockholm syndrome, then I'll take some more of it...I'm engaged to be married!
Never seen the movie, but now i want Crowders directors cut of the whole movie lol
That's one of my favorite movies
Oi! You got a loicense for that joke mate??
LOL! "Definitely rapey." "NooOooo." XD I absolutely adore this movie. Hilarious parody! Sing more often!
#blessed
Mate you’re a genius! 😂. Love the crowder!
To be fair, the seven brothers were all gingers...
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is great!!!
Do a version 7 brothers 504 brides 👰🏻, 72 for each brother 🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋
so it would be called "(504) Brides For 7 Brothers"? hmm seems kinda culturally inaccurate
I think "(504) Brides For 7 Muslim Brothers" would be better... hmmmm still not quite right
"3528 Beatings For 504 Muslim Wives (By 7 Brothers)" that works >.>
Ardy Smith would this be a Muslim version ? 72 virgins for each brother
Dewey Blackburn you stole my joke..... and made it shorter and better lol
Only one problem with that, it means the 7 Muslim brothers are all dead, in life they would be allowed up to 4 brides, it's only after they die as a result of martyrdom by Jihad would they get the 72 virgins
Ardy Smith YES!!! 🤣
This is one of your finest works ever I'm literally in tears laughing
I love this movie, the dance and songs are truly some of Hollywood's greatest. However, your parody was as top shelf as it gets!!! You guys are truly reaching levels of humor that Hollywood would be proud of had they any sense!
You are the best and continuously have me in stitches!!!
I actually like that movie. Yeah it's based on the Roman story but that's why it's funny. It's a comedy about how ridiculous it would be if you put those stories in a modern setting. Kinda like oh brother where art thou.
It's a classic musical COMEDY. It's fun to laugh at those good-natured guys and their archaic ideas. But if it happened in real life, with guys who were malevolent brutes, it would be a totally different story. It's always been a favorite of mine - but it's oh so politically incorrect. These days, it would NEVER have been made into a movie.
Holy crap...........I had the role of Milly in a high school production of this musical.
We kinda ruined it, too.....but that was mainly because we were between the ages of 14 and 18 at the time.
my family watched this last month and I said it'd only be a short time before this film is considered a hate crime.
FAV MOVIE OMGGGGG
Van Allen its a great musical stfu
Van Allen your point?😂😂
Van Allen 😂😂yes I was homeschooled but I started in my Sophomore year of HS so I kinda avoided the “denim dress phase”. I def love me some denim tho.. don’t get me wrong. 😂😂😂
That’s the point of the movie! The brothers learn that it’s wrong, and Millie teaches them to have respect for women
Jesus christ!!! Feminist can have this one free of charge!
Hahahahahahahaha. Holy crap, that was funny
This is why I love this channel
I love this movie
DAMN SvenComputer rocking that ginger wig. XP
I love this fucking movie!!! And the fighting parts of the movie you showed, they were trying to take them back to their families.
I love that movie!
It's one of my all-time favorites! Plus, not even the film shrugs off the brothers' bad behavior as trivial or acceptable; Millie seriously chews them out!
3:16 This is the part I spit out my coffee LMAO!
Only your vocal control disappointed me lol I was waiting for this!! 10/10!!!
Such a good movie
I laughed so hard, it almost hurt!😆 Steven, you need more skits!
My favorite musical ever when I was a kid was 7 brides for 7 brothers. I still enjoy it to this day.
haha I love that movie. The point of the movie is that the men were misogynistic but because of Adams strong willed wife Milly they change. She whips them into shape and even kicks them out of the house for a year. I think this is an original feminist movie. Strong female characters and the men learn to treat women with respect.
That last verse made milk come out my nose.
Cacibots got this!
What'n'sam-hell is a cacibot?
@Elation Sechscan2: Four of the Cacibots were caught trying to educate some African villagers about the virtues of capitalism. Look what happened to them: ua-cam.com/video/HilQ5Eh5S5U/v-deo.html (Four University students being lynched) That was Winnie Mandela's favorite method of lynching Cacibots.
They're Russian bots Ruben T. Don't read their comments. It will influence you. Protect your mind from these comments. I never read them.
Is this a real thing? I can't find anything about it online.
IMA KILLME
I thought you were a Cacibot?
Not Gay Jared was stellar in this.
Sven Computer looks like my aunt circa 1995 with that wig on 😂
Seven brides for seven brother was a great film
My jaw was on the floor
I was expecting this in that other video about what films could never be made in the present however I still enjoy this film
Grew up watching that movie. One of my mothers favorites.
This song sounds a little rapey! Lmao
Funny needed that laugh this morning
I could pinpoint this stuff at a young age but always loved it. Still love it to this day as it is absurd and hilarious in the right combinations. Not to mention it had amazing choreography too. By the way Steven, this skit was hilarious! I had no idea the director's cut of this even existed!
Where can I find the director's cut?
Hilarious! Yeah, this movie hasn't exactly aged well, but in it's defense the men figured out in the end they were obviously wrong the whole time....and then no charges were pushed by the women's families because consequences are icky. No, this movie couldn't get made today.
Lmao OMG I always felt like it was pretty fucked up watching it as a kid glad I'm not the only one.
Damn Crowder!!! There was a line! And you just danced and sang all over it!! 😂😂
@0:59 Sheppard Smith on the barn ladder?
Lord liften Fuck that was brilliant love it Still bloody laughing keep them come bye U know.
That was hilarious!!!
Do they have any openings an eight brother might fit?
The original was secretly titled "7 Shades of Grey Flannel."
I'll tell you what way wrong with this video, you bunch of right wing, to toxic men... Steven was clearly out of tune. 😆
Lmao
When are you guys taking this on tour?
"oh Them bitches were sobbin sobbin sobbin screamin out loud" lol
*BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!*
I had to watch it again.
Did the ficas consent? Oy vey lol
Not-So-Staignt-Jared's face and "Holy Sh*t" and the end had me literally rolling!
I was waiting for this single release.
Honestly I loved the movie when I was younger but as an adult it is offensive on some levels. Doesn't change the fact that it's one of the best musicals ever 😂
Same! I think because it’s older it can get away with being a bit offensive.
Offense is taken not given, basically it is you who is offensive. Deal with it
Why would you become a snowflake liberal when you became an adult? Makes no sense. Those offended by this movie are retards.
MrBalrog64 gee I didn’t know you had to be a liberal to find some things a bit offensive. 🙄 Newsflash every gets offended at some things, normal people don’t overreact & demand it be censored.
Not a fan of musicals, but this movie is still a favorite from my childhood-- used to watch it with my grandmother. Thank you, for the memories. I've got to go watch the movie in its entirety again!!
Is that Sven Computer? He is pretty awesome. Good job on that pick!
When are you going to drop a fire mixtape?
I love this musical!!! But I'm never gonna be able to watch it without bursting out in tear filled laughter now!!!! 😂🤣😂
We need to take up a vote... I want to see the rest of your version Stephen! Who's with me?!?
Saw this film on sky cinema the other week, didn't show the uncut version though :(
0:50 WHAT IN THE HELL?!?!
Don't have a problem great as always!
LOL One of my favorite movies of all time!! Cute story: When my oldest son was 4, I was sitting on the floor and he snuck up behind me, threw a blanket over me, and started trying to pick me up, all the while singing, oh yes! those women were sobbin'.....cracked me up!! Millie was my favorite character.
No prob, only laughter and glee. 💯
Thank you for translating the "subtle" lyrics of the song for us.
I love that movie and your parody is so funny!
