That little delay he puts in near the end where he sings "I need to... LUVVVVVV" and the audience fills "LUVVV!" in, leading to this amazing choral surround-sound effect, is transcendent!
Great reaction! I’m still astounded that people with an interest in great music don’t love Muse already😂 but I love it because I get to see people falling in love with them ❤️ I’ve loved them for over 20 Years. Please react to more live tracks, especially some from the first 3 albums🙏❤️
Chris Wolstenholme's bass has a Korg Kaossilator synthesizer built into the upper neck of the bass guitar. Matt also has guitars with the Kaossilator built into it. The Kaossilator is a synthesizer but you also manipulate incoming signals as well. You can process bass, guitar, drums and other instruments and vocals with the Kaossilator
Yes dig into them! They have so many different genres. Members: Matt Bellamy: Lead Singer, Guitarist, and Pianist (if you want to see all of those try Butterflies and Hurricanes live at wembly Chris Wolstenholme: Backing Vocals and Bass Guitar Dominic Howard: Drums
What ever you do dudes only react to live versions. Matt is perfect every time. One of the very few bands that are much, much better live. They have their own sound you will always now them. Their genres range from classical; heavy break down, synth, poppy to funk. Matt Bellamy is a classically trained pianist and writes orchestral pieces, again which you will discover and was voted in the best 25 guitarists of all time. He is a musical genius with a instrumental voice of an angel. They have been the best live band for two decades. They released a new song in Jan 22 "Won't stand down" then released the follow up single about a month ago "Compliance" off their New album in Aug 22. You will see their extremely wide range of styles in those two songs alone. As an aside Matts dad was in the group Tornados who had a U.S number 1 hit called "Telstar" in the sixties. Also they are extremely political and a vast majority of their songs are about exposing the global controllers (their last two songs are an example) and the methods of control, of which I love them for. You have a long and wonderful journey ahead of you, enjoy.
Another band I've seen live about 4 yrs ago plus fantastic brilliant awesome live there stage settings is awesome!!!! Tell ya dad they did a cover version of Duran Duran hungry like the wolf ok!!!! It was totally amazing!!!! Cheers 😊 buddy
Hard to imagine that two big music fans had managed to avoid becoming a fan of this track. It's been on my best of 'new century' playlist since it dropped.
It's hard to follow everything out there and MUSE kinda got lost in the shuffle for me, but not anymore, "Madness" is soooo great! More Muse coming soon on the show 😎😎
Please do more muse live with your dad . There are so many great tracks to choose from ill let the comments all below lead your way but as a huge muse fan from the beginning this one ( which is great ) doesn't even make my top 20! PLEase explore muse further with dad. I personally love fury , or assasin .
More MUSE on the way, are u kidding this is a big treat for us to explore a new band together, really looking forward to it! 😎😎 "Supermassive Black Hole" is next!
Hi great reaction! You'll probably going to read this a lot, Muse can't be put ina box they go and jump in different generes. And you did great at reacting to them Live, if you like more heavy stuff Try Assassin Live at the Mayan, or continue with this concert with Plug in Baby and Knights of Cydonia. Edit: if you Like falsetto, try Microcuts, the whole song is falsetto either Live or Studio (The remaster XXXAniversaryXXX is soo good)
Wow! LOVED it! Fantastic! Ima go check out that studio track. 😎 Question! The bass player had a double-necked guitar, but one half looks like a “fretless iPad?!?!” 😳 Whoa! Okay, Ty just mentioned that after I typed it. I have definitely never seen THAT before. Music nerd is gonna have to go research that now! 😇
The band utilize a lot of types of distortion and "unnatural" guitar sounds. Matt Bellamy is the co-owner of the guitar brand called, Manson. His guitars are custom made and I think his most iconic guitar is the "Red Santa" guitar. It has a Kaoss Pad (midi controller) in-built, which is basically a bit like the Korg Kaossilator that the bassist uses on this bass. Matt Bellamy also likes the use a "fuzz pedal", but in recent years he has built it into his guitar instead. So he can move around the stage, while morphing the sound
MUSE are from Teignmouth, a small seaside town in South Devon, England, just 15 minutes from where I live. My claim to fame is that I went to a party with Dom, the drummer when I was a lot younger! (obviously before he was famous!) More recently, Matt Bellamy came to our farm to do a photoshoot with my brothers Back to the Future Delorean car to promote his new guitar!...that being said, you should react to "Knights of Cydonia", also live from the Rome Olympic stadium and "Hysteria".
All of that is way cool, wait did u say "Delorean" !! As an American who was raised on Family Ties TV Show and Back to the Future movies that is Fab😎😎 Michael J Fox is just an amazing Canadian / American treasure
Muse fans absolutely hated this song, when it first came out. But now its pretty widely acclaimed by the fans. Yet you will notice that there is kinda 2 groups of this fanbase. 1) Only likes the old stuff and dont like their dive into different music genres 2) Appreciates their range and how they don't stick to one style of music
@@reactionextraction butterflies and Hurricanes, assassin live AT the mayan, plug in baby live AT Rome Olympic stadium, Stockholm syndrome, invicible, live of course 💯🔥
I've been a Muse fan since 2001, as an older Muse fan, and someone who has seen them live countless times I actually think for a Muse song it's one of their worst. I can 100% see though how this song goes well with new Muse listeners or non Muse fans. Please check out songs from at least their first 4 albums, I would say anything after 'Absolution' is "new" Muse.
And to think, Madness is only Muse's 38th best song!
Have fun with this new journey into Muse. You're both going to love it.
We look forward to our MUSE journey, have already filmed a few more, all very different, way interesting band 😎😎
That little delay he puts in near the end where he sings "I need to... LUVVVVVV" and the audience fills "LUVVV!" in, leading to this amazing choral surround-sound effect, is transcendent!
this whole concert is epic - one of the best live recordings ever!

We look forward to doing much more 😎😎 MUSE has perked my interest for sure!
One of my favorite bands since they first came.

Thanks, as a hardcore Muser... I'm on it and off to Plymouth and den haag this year. Last year it was fucking London and Berlin.

Muse is awesome. I still enjoy their new music. Bellamy definitely one of the most overlooked vocalists. I bet Freddy Mercury would enjoy Muse.
Good point there 😎 Bellamy & Mercury , 2 genius artists 😎
Oh dear...you ain't seen nothing yet. Dive in, you won't regret it. Go watch Hurricanes and Butterflies at Wembley

Interesting that's great insight, think I'll mention that on the show 😎😎 good to know more about the MUSE "Universe" .
If you want falsetto, you need to hear Micro Cuts. Matt Bellamy remains in high falsetto throughout the entire song.
Bellamy IS a modern Beethoven
Ma ma ma ma ma ma maad ness
I'm getting the new model of that bass next month. Only 100 being made! (its not a double neck)
Sweet, let us know how it goes 😎😎
Muse got me with undisclosed desires. Madness was the cherry on top. Uprising and Starlight are other good ones.
Great reaction thanks 🔝🙌
More muse live pleaaase 🔥🔥🔥🔥
😎😎 More to come!
@@reactionextraction thanks 😁😁

Hope you do more Muse, Madness is good, but its not top of the top.
more MUSE coming soon!
Madness doesn't even make Muses top 10. It would be most bands' #1

only here the Muse :)
He wrote this for his then girlfriend Kate Hudson
Muse fans hate Madness.
Hahaha. You did not know about Muse? Don't believe it at all.
