That Ranger really lucked out in life when you rescued it.
"If you're grandmother is still alive and you are watching this right now, you should call her and say hello" , i feel you....
That thing belongs in a museum now!
If your grandmother was alive, she'd be proud of the way her granddaughter is restoring and upgrading her pickup and not giving up until it's done right.🤗
"Stink like robot sex"...never gonna be able to spray PB Blaster again without laughing hysterically.

When Sarah’s voice went higher saying 1986 like that is a very old penny it made me feel ancient since I was 16 in 86 😳
A Master Class in Car Cleaning by OCD Jedi Master Sarah. Grandma is smiling down on the love and care for her truck by her grand daughter.
Congrats little Ford Ranger, you are on your way to being the cleanest Ford Ranger on the planet.
Great Ranger I had a 93 Supercross with the 4.0 with a 5 speed Hadit for 18 years without a problem. Mine was Caymon Green yours is Calypso

Sarah tries to clean the 1994 Ford Ranger makes it very clean inside and even outside. Little does Sarah know about all that stuff in the truck is very dirty, because it needs to be done cleaning inside and outside, even though it was really bad inside. Really classic.
Don't forget that you still have the seat frames and sliders to de rust and paint. I'm sure that the frame and running gear will get the same treatment so it will end up as one of the best Rangers in the country. Award for best small 90's truck at any show for sure. Peoples Choice!
We called those maple seed helicopters "whirlybirds" in my youth. You could also break off the seed and put the blade in your mouth to make an awesome whistle. That Ranger is well on the road to a complete recovery in Sarah's caring and talented hands.
Also would split them in half, peel back the pod and stick them to the bridge of our nose
My grandmothers died very young. The first one died when I was 6 years old and the other one died when I was 18. It was heart breaking. I envy anyone that’s had long term relationship with their grandmothers. 😢
My dad just passed away and I have his ranger now that needs some restoring. Amazing timing and I relate too a lot. Thank you Sarah! ❣️
Had a 1999 Mazda Troy Lee edition, basically a Ford Ranger with a Mazda badge. Loved that truck and it was a limited edition truck. Wish I still had it.
My grandparents are all gone. First one passed in 83. Second one passed in 87 (day after I graduated college). The last two, my mom's parents, passed within 3 months of eachother in 1993. I would give anything to get to talk to them just one more time. So much to say. Everyone call your parents, your grandparents. Hug 'em if you got 'em. Because you never know how much time you have left with them.
If that dime really is 1946, it is made out of silver. Keep it!
Yes! Clean it up and put it in a necklace bezel. Awesome reminder of your grandma!
The seed of the maple tree was and still is known as a Polly nose in NYC area. You split apart the seed end on a fresh one and it will stick to the bridge of your nose. Kids running around with these seeds standing straight up on your nose = total silliness. Sarah, you would look so cute with one on your nose too.
Just went to take off my battery tray of my 93(to give it a Sarah clean) and realized there's more than just 4 bolts on top. Guess I'm binge watching Sarah and tuned for my saturday
I don’t think I’ve ever seen you so excited about a project. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I’m so happy you have that connection with her ❤️❤️❤️❤️
80s tapes will be great. Very satisfying detail job Sarah. I'm happy for you.
I have to agree! 80s music is way better then 90s music. And I discovered that in the 90s! I had the old Metallca albums and Queen's Greatest Hits on tapes. I don''t think anything from the 90s can top that :)
The sound of A10 flying overhead is so calming.
Is it strange that I never served but I feel the same way? There's just something about the whistle of those engines.
The sound of survival. Put up high on plane to take hits and ingest FOD and still get back
@@rsprockets7846 Yeah but I wonder if they could ingest my ex's cooking? LOL! I'm pretty sure her "attempt" at spaghetti and meatballs was against the Geneva Convention...
My first new vehicle was a '93, regular cab, 2WD, manual in "Electric Red". Nostalgia, I has it.
I'm excited to see the ranger content!
My grandma is still alive, and I got to drive her up to mt Lemmon in her Torch Red Mustang (my grandma is a badass) last week 😊
Best thing Ford ever built! My buddy has 350,000 miles on his and it runs great! Solid, simple design. Car companies have forgotten that philosophy. They want to build $70,000 trucks over loaded with excess technology instead of reliable work horses, which is what we truly need day to day. Keep up the great job! BTW, I was a high end detailer/ restorer ( Pebble Beach winning cars) for 20 years. OCD is your friend!
The A-10, an aircraft so tough, not even the Air Force can kill it.
You rock Sarah 🎸 💪 😎
I am so glad you are working on your Grams Ranger and bringing up all the fond memories you have of her.
The F'n Ranger is lookin' GREAT, Sares! But in the immortal words of Glen Frey, "Don't let the sound of your own wheels drive ya crazy". Superior work, Gir Frane! :-)
I already bought several more items to clean my to be restored MGB ... Thank you Sarah for being an inspiration to lazy slugs like me.
I think that it's awesome that you're able to get the truck you learned to drive stick and means so much to you. This will be a labor of love.
A labor of love. Grandma would be proud.
Yes, call your Grandparents and say hello. Thanks for sharing, and keep the great videos coming.
Wonderful series. The memories of driving with Cassettes. Keep them out of the heat! Hot cab will destroy them into puddles of plastic. Ok, warp them and mess up the tape. Can't wait for the external detail.
I've come to the realization that Sarah might be a professional phrase-coiner and innuendo maker-upper.
Sitting in your seat on the shop floor is comfy because you don’t have pot holes all over your shop floor. I’m so looking forward to seeing this finished. It’s great your gran left you this. I know it will never replace your gran but it will bring back great memories every time you sit in it.
Gram would be proud 🥲
Thanks for sharing!
Fabulous Sarah, just fabulous. Love this project, love everything about it. Never question your talent, never. Wow.
You crack me up during your videos. All the humor dry or not is awesome. plus your oddness is oddly attractive :P
Allo Ms Sarah, other nicknames for your helicopter seed include Wing-Nut & Whirlygig. The term was based on the way the seeds spiral through the air as they fall from the tree. The seed comes from Maple trees in the US (Sycamore trees in the UK, which produced helicopters that shared the name).
It's delightfully moving to watch this labor of love with your Granny's truck , you literally glow with every mention of her & every improvement you make. Not clear if her truck is yours now , I certainly hope so because I couldn't bear to watch you part with it.
The helicopter seed you saw is a kind of maple. Some maples are highly estimated, some are considered weeds. Beautiful Ranger.
When I was in the ARMY, I loved seeing those A-10's overhead
Takes a kicking and keeps on flying. One during gulf war got half it's tail blown off one engine out and still made it back
@@rsprockets7846 No gulf war for me but opfor during Marine training at Twenynine Palms in March of '88. Had them as air support and loved their turn on a dime flying. (Yes, I was in the US Army doing field exercises at a USMC base.)
Never served but still my favorite war plains are f15 and a10 f15 cuz f15 a10 cuz so ugly so deadly just a ugly thing of beauty
I’m from New Hampshire and I actually bought the same truck in bright blue as my first new vehicle in ‘94. What a trip seeing this, thanks Sarah!
I just came across this video randomly but I'm glad I did! I used to have 96' Ranger and I loved it probably the best vehicle I've owned.
Let's go on patreon and sponsor a dry ice blasting of the chassis of this truck for Sarah
Watching your OCD is so satisfying for my OCD.
The transformation as you were cleaning the seats was impressive. Amazing job on the cleaning Sarah.
PB Blaster has been a great tool for me
Loved How The Doors Came Out!!! 💚💚💚💚💚 Don't Worry About Loving and Cleaning Cars!!! I Use To Have a Shop me and My Sister Ran Rental Car Business!!! I Miss Cleaning Cars in my Shop And Believe me The Move Videos You Watch The More You Learn!!! GREAT JOB!!! And Yes Being OCD is A PLUS FOR THIS!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I had that exact tape deck in my 89. Glad you kept it. And yeah everyone should call their grandparents and parents. 🙂
I am somehow fascinated by your OCD, I knew when you got this ranger there'd be many episodes and detailing at cleaning it upgrading it fixing it, Most of us just go to the car wash and use the vacuums, not Sarah! I'm also impressed that you know what an A10 Warthog is!🐧
I like that you're doing all this work with the fancy nails.
Those little helicopters are seeds that come off of maple trees maple trees are found all over the North East and by the way you're doing a fantastic job you are just too cool keep up all the great work
A10's are my favorite. Old, strong, slow, but very deadly, I mean powerful. I like them. This gun sounds like manual shift with no clutch and doing it wrong
I love seeing how your remembering your Grahams through the truck. I’m super excited for more Ranger content. It’s nice seeing Charlie around again too.
Stop worrying about ur detailing vids! I rly enjoy seeing in ur element bringing back “unnecessary” parts, no one ever see, to better than showroom condition! Hope u make many more detailing vids!
I miss living next to my old air base, i love listening to A10's zip on by!
I like the idea of keeping the stock head unit. Should install head unit power pack, small enough to fit under the dash and also give you a cleaner powerful sound with stock look.
So now the mint green truck is mint on the inside as well! Great job!
I know its in our DNA to modify vehicles, but its nice to see one this old that's stock. Definitely a keeper
The whirly bird seeds are called maple keys in Canada. They're from the trees you get maple syrup out of so its all a great thing.
You're too cute, and too funny with you're little pervy one liners 😂😂😂
That color is so early 90’s. Love it.
I just bought a 94 ford ranger of this same color, it's now my project to restore and remove the bodgery from the past owners.
lmao at the helicopter thing, we definitely loved those when we were young near Boston
Yes, Elvira it is. Rockin the look
Nice truck for a 1994 you could never find something that nice in upper Canada. Love your work, Sarah.
The bright red lipstick made you look pale, but it's a look you can pull off. More important, the interior looks mint now. So glad I got this channel recommended by watching Puddin's fab shop.
Looks mint and brand new for sure! Can’t wait to see the frame restoration though 👍😀👏🏻👏🏻
His reaction to how clean it was said it all 👍 great video.
A10's and the C130's are the best birds ever! HOOYAH!
Is there Concours d'Elegance at car shows in USA like there is here in 🇬🇧? This is a prime candidate to let Sarah shine. 👍🇬🇧👍
I'm sure your Gram is watching you and approving. 👍
Really great to see someone else take on a nastalgia project! I just bought a 2nd gen Dakota to do a complete restoration on and everyone I know thinks I've lost my mind. LOL. My dad had one and I learned how to drive in it as well. Thanks for the motivation to go work on it more this afternoon!
I still can't get over how clean that truck is for a new England truck! Awesome job and you should get a drill brush and a cheap garden sprayer for you carpet solution
Beautiful. Same with the detailed Ranger! Both are Lovely!
You make watching a detail job beautifully fine trust me!
Every time I see the truck, I'm reminded of Terminator when John Conner was driving up the freeway getting chased by a helicopter 😂😄
I lost my maternal grandmother in 1984. Last winter, I was helping mom unpack after a big move back to our home town and I came across grandma’s mother-of-pearl hand mirror and hair brush. Sure enough, there were still some of her hairs in the brush. Funny how things like that help you connect with lost loved ones. Keep up the excellent work, and cherish the memories you have of your times with her.
The only word that comes to mind is SATISFYING....as you said. Its the basis of where the car was clean from factory!! Loved the vid! Just noticed ONE area - that you may overlooked, the key barrel ignition area. My OCD also .... loves cleaning!
"Do you know how tough it is to make a detailing video interesting?"
_Laughs in Detail Geek_
My daily OCD requirements have been satisfied. Should tie me over until your next vid.
You should not Make fun of Yourself You should be Proud of what you doing and what you do is awesome.
Hello Sarah, The seat is now comfortable because your long legs aren't pinned to the dashboard and they're free to roam. LOL! Me/ myself, standing 6'6", I'd be campin' in the bed of the truck! Your full blown OCD cracks me up!
it doesnt make it into iron oxide - actual rust is iron oxide. it converts it to iron phosphate which is that black coating...
Sarah, your enthusiasm and hard work are truly an inspiration. 👍
Great job on the ranger Sarah, looks like a new 1994 Ranger off the show room floor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you are a keeper :) I can count on one hand how many people know what an A-10 is, and pale and works on cars :)
Nice job, turned out amazing so far. Cleeeean. For the bolts, you could get them derusted and new zinc coated at a shop doing galvanizing. That would be the perfect solution so they don't start rusting again any time soon. And usually you can retrofit old radios by adding a stereo-jack to it. There are tutorials about it on the interwebs. And then add a bluetooth-to-stereo-jack device.
Wow! I'm so impressed by you! Even boring detaling gets interesting, mostly by your fantastic humor! Keep it up, Sarah!
Don't take this the wrong way please Sarah. You are so freaking cute !!! Your quirks are awesome!!
I love it, I worked at at Ford dealer from 1989-2005 so I worked on those when they were new..brings back memories
When cleaning windows roll them down just a tad to do the rim of the window then roll them back up. Just a tip
Sarah, I love you
I worked A10's back in the late 80's. Neat airplanes. Can get shot full of holes and still fly. The gun on it is awesome.
Rhode Islander here. I guess I take the helicopter leaves for granted. Such a specific part of New England life.
This detailing content is fantastic. I love these transformations.
You call it ocd, we call it excellent content and love for your grandma.
