Watched this over past weekend. Pleasant surprise! I thought it was a foreign film. But I was incorrect. Simple story. But brilliant action! Combo of Inglourious Basterds, Rambo: First Blood 2, a hint of Vikings series, and a spaghetti western vibe. Plus, if Quentin Tarantino produced this. Highly recommended!
Phew, I can 'visualize' through your points on this Hero! That the spaghetti Western remake, like The Magnificent Seven (2016) was the more violent villain for the genre - I think this Movie is 'heavy' on the one-man killing machine theme! 😅Watching with a group would help the "enjoyment" of it 😉
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Might actually be my new favourite one. But i am bias, as i am finnish and the films atmoshphere felt so farmilliar. Clearly the same vibe we have in our movies despite the genre. And all the good things you just mentioned. Love it.
I have a question for all directors after i watched this movie..... *WHY DIDNT ANYONE EVEN HIRE THIS DIRECTOR TO DIRECT A REAL DOOM MOVIE, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YAAL???!!? HOW IN THE WORLD DO U NOT KNOW HOW TO MAKE A DOOM MOVIE, ITS SIMPLE AS FUCK, SHOOTING, RIPPING, TEARING, MUTE AND MENACING CHARACTER, ETC. SIMPLY JUST FOLLOW WAT THE GAME EXACTLY LOOK LIKE!!*
This is Rambo if he existed in the mid-1900s. Instead of battling crooked cops/Viet Congs/Soviets/corrupt Burmese army/Mexican drug cartel he's battling Nazis.
I have never been more disappointed in a movie this awful. First 10 mins was fantastic but then it got ridiculous and not in a great way. It was quite frankly the most dumb movie of all time. I cannot believe how people think this was even remotely good.
@@FUNNYMANERICWHITE yea I’m almost sure the reviewer in this video has bumped his head a few times. I stand by it an absolute crap movie, Steven seagal level bad.
If Simo Häyhä was a gold prospector. I wanna see this move. Everybody gangsta till the trees and snowbanks start speaking Finnish.... Look him up.. as a sniper in two and a half months he had 500 plus confirmed kills in the winter war.
mind fuckkkkkkkkkkkkk i lived this moviee thanks fot this cultt in a times of all garbage woke movies, this is super amazing i will reatch sop soon this is of amazing action gore cult,,, i loved it ,, itsssss soooo insaneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
@@carycoller3140 Saw it Thursday opening night. I had fun, but it is probably not a movie I will rewatch - just the fact there is very little dialogue and story. It is pretty much like a horror movie, but an action movie instead - very one dimensional characters. It is very unbelievable... that little metal shield was taking all the bullets, but he was not hit anywhere else by a machine gun? At least Wonder Woman had a bigger shield and she might be semi-bulletproof... hahaha... I don't regret watching it, but this is no John Wick even though they said it is produced by the people that did John Wick or something in the advertisement?
As long as the dog survive im good
They never promised that the horse would make it🥺
Sisu seems fascinating. As always, we appreciate your reviews. Keep up the good work.
If you like John Wick, Kill Bill or anything from Tarintino, you'll likely enjoy SISU.
No. Maybe Tarantino violence… But it didn’t feel like john wick action at all.
That’s a lie
@@Mrcric134 Nice! LOL
@@r2153 dude the movie was retarded, watched it start from finish with an open mind and was disappointed after the first encounter.
Not even close to any of those movies. It could have been if they put action in the movie. First fight scene was awesome. That’s it
The movie about John Wick's Grandfather.

I saw it in an early screening. This one was a real barn burner. The tone reminded me of Refn, and there a few Tarantino-esque flares. Fun watch.
Raid: Redemption (and #2) come to mind, as some of the most visceral and ultra-realistic close-quarters and bloody combat I've seen in movies.
You can say the name for The Night Comes For Us too.
@@amy_yoshikawa cheers, will have to give it a go!
cant wait to see this
Hey have you checked out 'Mayor of Kingstown'?
4.5 out of 5 couches
List of action movies: Wrath of Man, Nobody, Man on Fire (2004), John Wick (2014), Rambo (2008)

Best movie in years

I saw the trailer for this movie when I saw Operation Fortune. It looks interesting. How far have you gotten on reading my script, Chris?

Exactly. Beginning was awesome but got boring with little to no fighting. The beginning was the highlight of the movie

Legend!
most annoying pair of frames I think I've seen yet....
SISU is fun but unrealistic. Very predictable with no real depth. 3 hrs after leaving the theatre it was forgotten.
I love brutal
Wrong..there is a small amount of nudity (river bathing scene)
And here it got blurred out hahahaha

Hey BUDD sounds like you should stick to reviewing DISNEY PLUS MOVIES!!😂
Low expectations. Just expecting comical violence in vein of Tarantino. Does not sound like I will be disappointed.
I saw it today. It's decent, but very flawed and unrealistic.

@@brianng8350 I agree with all you've commented. I couldn't have said it any better. I saw The Covenant also. That is an amazing movie.
@@carycoller3140 The Covenant was a solid movie. Maybe within the top 5 movie of 2023 so far, I think.
This movie has 1,000 flaws. It was ok, but terribly flawed.
