It really depends on the person. The game is clearly not for everyone. Joining some clan might help to learn, but you can also ask questions about the game on the server forum/discord.
Give it a try if you want but be mindful that playing on x1 is a long term investment of your time cause the game is insanely grindy. My recomendation is if you like fast fun join some high rate server to check class and test the atmosphere of the game. If you like long term slow progress( its still fun ngl) you can join low rate sv like elmore or reborn

Go for a x15 server at least, x1 is like a work and will not enjoy the mid game
