  • Testing the new 2207, 1960kv motors from Axis Flying, a new company in the FPV world. These are marketed as 'sbang' motors so I went to an open field and did my best juicy sbang sbang impression. They are damn powerful and smooth motors and felt great to fly.

      @@fpvwithpatrick that’s good to hear. I’m thinking ok the 2306. Did you scale down the 1950kv to help with the battery consumption?

    • @fpvwithpatrick
      @fpvwithpatrick  2 роки тому +1

      @@Josh.s.smith88 I didn’t scale them down no. I’m too addicted to the high kv power 😂 tbh they drain my batteries like crazy but I guess it’s worth it for the power. If you like that high kv punch and power (great for last minute recoveries) then definitely worth checking out, otherwise I would suggest going with lower kv motors instead of adding a throttle limit as you’ll lose efficiency.

    I have the 236 1960kv motors and they actually built my confidence. They are so smooth it's crazy. I just got the 2004 for my 4" and it made the quad a completely different experience.

    Awesome Vlog, amazing flying!!! Its definitely smooth (shows in your flying) but these motors' finishing doesn't look too premium from the closeup shots. Pretty funny how you get disorientated near your house haha. I love that tree dance at 6:20, looks almost marius like style.. Keep it up bro, looking forward to more of your Vlogs!

      Thanks bro! Oh you think? I’m only used to cheap motors so they looked good to me. Feel nice and solid too. Maybe I’m not the right person to judge that 😂 and yeah had no idea where the hell I was. Too many flippy floppies 🤣 thanks again man, appreciate your support 🙏🙏🙏

    The green washer at the top of bearing also provides shock resistance in a crash which is critical we learned that with the Iflight motors.

    Damn man! Insane rewinds, insane Subang freestyle and insane flying overall! The extra power from the motor seems noticeable to me compared to your previous freestyle videos. Also the first time hearing 'Sbang' being pronounced 😂

    • @fpvwithpatrick
      @fpvwithpatrick  3 роки тому +1

      Thank you so much bro!! Yeah definitely noticeable, the extra power is kinda crazy. I have never flown high kv motors like this before. Next time I fly I will try to fly proximity style instead to see if it is too much or still ok. The extra power is kind of exciting though 😂 also I think I probably pronounced it wrong. Farouk said that it is pronounced ‘zbang’ I think 🤷🏼‍♂️

    WOW! That is amazing rippage! I'm debating between AF227 1960kv and 2010kv. All my batteries are 6s. Maybe you can share some thoughts about my choices. Thank you.

    • @fpvwithpatrick
      @fpvwithpatrick  2 роки тому +1

      Thank you bro, appreciate it! Hmm well I use 1960kv on 6s and they are already insanely powerful. I don’t know why anyone would need higher, for freestyle at least. It’s up to you though. If you want ultimate max bananas power but no flight time then try 2010. If you want insane bananas power but with slightly more flight time go for 1960. Hope that helps a bit 😆

    Hello there mate, Ive watched this your video quite sometime ago. Any opinion pros and cons regarding those motors after a while u had them now? in terms od durability and power hungry?

    • @fpvwithpatrick
      @fpvwithpatrick  2 роки тому +1

      Hey man! Honestly I’m really loving these motors. They are still as smooth as when I first got them and the power is absolutely insane. They are quite power hungry though yeah. I have noticed it really depends on what style I’m flying but generally probably getting like 1 minute less flight time vs my older 1800kv motors. But still, I’m considering buying another set for a second quad I love them that much 😂 I think for a fair test I might get some cheaper motors of a similar kv just to compare. Watch this space haha

      Depends how aggressively you fly and your lipos/props/weight. I'm getting up to 3 and a half mins with 750g AUW and HQProp J37 props. If you fly less aggressive up to 5 mins with a 1200mah lipo
