When I tell you I just love you! I love how you're so open, honest, and raw, I just love it. I sometimes struggle with hearing from God, but at the end of 2022, He and I were seriously besties. I was on the balcony watching your video and crying right along with you as you were talking about how sometimes we're waiting from a big voice from God to help us move but many times it is a subtle voice that speaks to us. Whenever I watch your videos I get a sense of reassurance, empathy, and respect. Often times when I was a single mom I hated myself because how did I not pick the right person and why didn’t I wait until I was married to procreate.But when I watch your videos and you talk about your mom and especially the video when you gave your mom the car with the gas cards it just brought me to tears. I had learn to forgive myself because on the other side of pain is success and that pain is temporary and God did not give me a spirit of fear & failure or shame. Wow, Mena! When you were sharing the story about the gas station, i was tearing up 😢. So many times, hearing from God feels just like that. Not knowing if its the right person at the right time or if you have the right words to speak. As I get older, I've been encouraged to just do it. Over the years I’ve really grown to listen to that voice, that tiny voice that just pushes you to do something in a particular moment.. Call it God call it intuition, it doesn’t really matter because that voice is so precious. I like to call it my inner divine source and it gides me throughout life. Mena…I learned a lesson from Oprah a long time ago that my friends and family know I subscribe to….if I can’t afford to just give it to you without needing it back then I can’t give it. That way there’s no hard feelings, I’m not in need, nobody’s acting funny and our relationship is preserved. Even if the person says they’re going to give it back anyway & for whatever reason they can’t, we’re still all good because I never expected it back……on another note, in the 2 1/2 years I’ve been watching You Tube regularly (of which you are a regular) this is the single best video I’ve watched. It made me laugh a little, cry a little & fed my soul all at the same time…. Mena, this video was so touching. I have in the past prayed so hard thinking that God isn't listening as we as humans want an immediate answer or response. I have learnt to be patient and believe you me, God has always come through for me when I least expected it. When I say I was in need, trust me I was in need. There were times when I went without so my children could have. I had no food, I touched each and every cupboard in my kitchen and asked God to fill them. I received a phone call the following morning - it was my mother telling me to come with her to do some shopping and she bought my shopping. I mentioned nothing to her about my financial situation and there, when I did not think I would have food in my kitchen, God showed up. At that particular time I had split with my children's father and those times were difficult. I worked late and had to come home and do homework with the children and put them to bed whilst I went bed crying into my pillow every night. I will never forget those very difficult times and what God had got me through. My children are now grown (21 and 18 years - praise God) and are working and they are a blessing . That unconditional love and compassion for others is a gift. God bless you in all that you continue to do Mena. Bless you ❣❣🙏🏾🙏🏾

And the day I stop take it all away!” There’s been times and many difficult moments in my life due to my fibromyalgia that I couldn’t work or move. Necessities have been presented to me by close friends or family members and it’s exactly what I have left. BUT God girl!!! Never ever have I doubted His Grace over my life. He always doubles that blessing because I don’t doubt it for one second and I just let go. Hi Mena, happy new year!! Thank you so much for making this video, I’ve been on a journey with my relationship with God recently that resonates with something you were talking about! I struggle with patience in my daily life, patience with people, with myself etc. And it showed in the way I would feel so disheartened when I would pray to God for something and I felt like it was taking forever for my prayers to be answered. Often, I would feel like God hasn’t heard me or something was wrong, but when I truly sit down and reflect on where I am and what I have today, I see all the ways that God answered me in His own timing, not mine. I’m still learning to be more patient but I always keep the faith that my God is a loving, gracious God who hears all of our hearts desires and brings them to us at the best time for us. Seeing videos like this just reaffirms my faith that when it’s meant to happen, rest assured, God will make it happen. Often times when I was a single mom I hated myself because how did I not pick the right person and why didn’t I wait until I was married to procreate.But when I watch your videos and you talk about your mom and especially the video when you gave your mom the car with the gas cards it just brought me to tears. I had learn to forgive myself because on the other side of pain is success and that pain is temporary and God did not give me a spirit of fear & failure or shame. Wow, Mena! When you were sharing the story about the gas station, i was tearing up 😢. So many times, hearing from God feels just like that. Not knowing if its the right person at the right time or if you have the right words to speak. As I get older, I've been encouraged to just do it. Over the years I’ve really grown to listen to that voice, that tiny voice that just pushes you to do something in a particular moment.. Call it God call it intuition, it doesn’t really matter because that voice is so precious. I like to call it my inner divine source and it gides me throughout life. Mena…I learned a lesson from Oprah a long time ago that my friends and family know I subscribe to….if I can’t afford to just give it to you without needing it back then I can’t give it. That way there’s no hard feelings, I’m not in need, nobody’s acting funny and our relationship is preserved. Even if the person says they’re going to give it back anyway & for whatever reason they can’t, we’re still all good because I never expected it back……on another note, in the 2 1/2 years I’ve been watching You Tube regularly (of which you are a regular) this is the single best video I’ve watched. It made me laugh a little, cry a little & fed my soul all at the same time…. I have to admit I’ve been a little frustrated at your content lately because it’s been briefer than in the past but I realize the more in demand & successful you become you have to adapt to do what works best for you & I only wish you success. & now I know to just look forward to when you’re able to do extended content because it may be just what I need at that time!!

Mena, this video was so touching. I have in the past prayed so hard thinking that God isn't listening as we as humans want an immediate answer or response. I have learnt to be patient and believe you me, God has always come through for me when I least expected it. When I say I was in need, trust me I was in need. There were times when I went without so my children could have. I had no food, I touched each and every cupboard in my kitchen and asked God to fill them. I received a phone call the following morning - it was my mother telling me to come with her to do some shopping and she bought my shopping. I mentioned nothing to her about my financial situation and there, when I did not think I would have food in my kitchen, God showed up. At that particular time I had split with my children's father and those times were difficult. I worked late and had to come home and do homework with the children and put them to bed whilst I went bed crying into my pillow every night. I will never forget those very difficult times and what God had got me through. My children are now grown (21 and 18 years - praise God) and are working and they are a blessing . That unconditional love and compassion for others is a gift. God bless you in all that you continue to do Mena. Bless you ❣❣🙏🏾🙏🏾

Omg!! Mena you have no idea how much I feel every word you shared. I always tell my husband, “I always pray and always tell God to bless me so I can bless others. And the day I stop take it all away!” There’s been times and many difficult moments in my life due to my fibromyalgia that I couldn’t work or move. Necessities have been presented to me by close friends or family members and it’s exactly what I have left. BUT God girl!!! Never ever have I doubted His Grace over my life. He always doubles that blessing because I don’t doubt it for one second and I just let go. Now it was hard at first because some people are just using me but again God always let’s you know some how some way. 😢❤ You’re an amazing woman of God and I admire all you’ve accomplished and all you do. Listening to God is so important. Like yourself, sometimes i don't know if it's God talking, but i give, and the person will talk about how they've been praying for a miracle. At this time, i need a miracle 🙏. I really do. I wanna hear God's voice. I want to help a friend start a small business, but i truly don't have the funds. Hi Mena, happy new year!! Thank you so much for making this video, I’ve been on a journey with my relationship with God recently that resonates with something you were talking about! I struggle with patience in my daily life, patience with people, with myself etc. And it showed in the way I would feel so disheartened when I would pray to God for something and I felt like it was taking forever for my prayers to be answered. Often, I would feel like God hasn’t heard me or something was wrong, but when I truly sit down and reflect on where I am and what I have today, I see all the ways that God answered me in His own timing, not mine. I’m still learning to be more patient but I always keep the faith that my God is a loving, gracious God who hears all of our hearts desires and brings them to us at the best time for us. Seeing videos like this just reaffirms my faith that when it’s meant to happen, rest assured, God will make it happen. He’s always setting the scene in the background so even when we think we’re not hearing anything, so many pieces are moving that we cannot see that are making our prayers possible. Sephora Mascara.
