Icl I always run a big antidote shot for 20mins but 90% of the time it’s not rlly useful but it’s good for fighting near hives or with poison ammo and I’d rather take it at first then get a slot from a toolbox
@@masongrundy4000I’ve been contemplating replacing my vit shot with a regen. It’s just incredibly useful for countering those situations where you don’t quite have time to heal manually.
Devs: we will make the centennial 124 damage so it's not overpowered and overshadows the vetterli. Devs: Adds bleeding damage making it a one shot to downed hunters.
Only up to 21-22 meters. Over that enemy hunters will manage to stop bleeding. 125 damage would be much better considering you would be able to slap dmj on that making it 40 meters.
My favorite loadout is springfield half bleed half normal with spitefire fmj. Add to it decoy fuses, 1 big dynamite, and 1 waxed dynamite(just to mess with people that try to block off an entrance with chokes). It becomes an insanely powerful close/midrange loadout. Tag with the springfield bleed then push with the dynamite/fuses. Forces people to either die from the bleed or from the dynamite, the fuses are to try to scare people(doesn't always work but most of the time it does). The spitefire is there for the wall pens if people try to go into cover further than I can throw. It has gotten me more consistant kills than any other loadout and it's a lot of fun.
I always have great matches with this loadout! And a lot of fun too! Love the spitfire as a secondary. Cheap and powerful, add a springfield bayonet and gg
my best kill in this game was after getting shot in the back by a winfield, i had a silenced vetterli and turned a corner to run and saw a red barrel next to me. i immediately shot it and started the countdown, the hunter chased me around the corner and it exploded as soon as he made the bend. the timing couldnt be more perfect! thanks for the great content Mike
The number of folks who don't use antidotes lately just flabbergasts me. It's absolutely essential as a solo, and still really damn good in teams. Also that gap shot in the final fight was just fantastic.
I think it would be neat if you had a separate burn trait "inventory" from your normal traits. Obviously who knows how many they will add to the normal game, and it would have to take into account the ones that are temporarily added for events as well.

Because both weapons fire standard compact ammo, if you pick up their nagant, you will get its ammo, and then you can put the nagant back down and you will keep the ammo to the winfield's max reserve capacity. b) In the clip, the dead hunter had a pax with dumdum, and he has a Winfield centennial with dumdum. You too mike? Lol I never ran this damn thing now I'm even running the compact version just to throw bleed in it. Centenny with bleed is nuts, but I have to pair the ammo because I'm bad and I miss a lot.
I take large antidote and a large stamina shot every round and pump them both and resupply usually in the first 3 minutes of every hunt match. I just like not having to worry about poison or stamina in my matches. Most are done in 20 minutes anyway.
I still prefer FMJ in the centennial, usually with Spitfire FMJ. It just works. And regarding Shadow, I got it twice the whole event (once from a meathead).
I think rain needs a few adjustments. Taking away all audio-visual hints this game usually gives you and that are the absolute backbone of the game doesnt really make sense to me. And with the way rain works, I'm actually not sure what new biome to wish for..
I like how balanced hunt is (sarcasm): You can’t really block fire (nothing really), poison (mostly unnecessary antidote shot) and bleed ammo (perk wich you can’t always take) but if you want to block normal ammo wich nowadays is the weakest you just take regeneration shot lol
You can't block fire, but it's also one of the weaker DoT's since it only affects max health; salveskin will also prevent the 1-shot-to-ignite at close ranges from incendiary ammo (which is probably more common to encounter in combat than people throwing hellfire bombs) as well as buying your max HP more time to make fire much less of an issue. Antidote shots last 20 minutes by themselves and small ones are frequent loot - it's entirely a personal choice to not take them since they'll protect you from poison for half the match timer. Mithridatist is only 3 points and cuts down on the time pretty heavily if you truly do not want to take antidote shots. And, as with all the other status resistance traits, sure, you might not always get it on your first hunter or you might have a slow first match for a hunter - but they're also only 3 points.
