I bought this watch two years ago. It's great. I don't wear it daily; I usually wear a sports Rolex or a Panerai. (I chose a Carbotech Marina in part because of my experience with this carbon G-Shock.) I wear this G-Shock when I have to work around the house and yard or want to have a low profile when out and about. I have got compliments on the watch, which I have never had with my Rolexes. My one complaint is that the strap is made from a stiff material and will protrude from the rear clasp. Thanks for creating this video.
I’ve admired this one for some time! I’ve had my eye on one on eBay for a great price! Seems like a great piece! Might be a little large for me though. Thanks for the great overview!
@@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces I don’t usually do this but I can tell you’re really considering picking up this watch so, here is the link to the one I’ve been watching on eBay, seems like a great price. www.ebay.com/itm/114160947551 I don’t know much about the seller and no it’s not an affiliate link! 😅 Just thought I’d throw it out there!
I have become a Casio watch fan. Your video has intrigued me enough to seriously consider buying this watch. I have a Mudmaster and a Sky cockpit. Is something wrong with me? The more I learn and about Casio’s line of watches I fall deeper in. The Mudmaster is super rugged and so easy to read. I have to find out how much it weighs to compare it to 72 grams. You said you started off with lower level G shocks. What made you look into this watch? Are the more expensive G Shock’s really worth the cost? I have 5 Casios and I see as the cost goes up I do see the difference in quality. Just curious about your experience?
An impressive piece of kit. We are a long way away from the first generation G-Shocks, but they still have the same ideology. It does take a bite of the wallet though.
Don't forget that tiny third sub-dial :)) Damn, the excitement in your tone just sells it, really packed fully with functions and materials... if I didn't already have a Gravitymaster I would be very tempted :) Cheers for sharing and cheers to the bijou guys in com :)) Lucky 13th thumbs from me :)
@@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces Has that desire worn off yet :-P I wonder if your friends have any MRG's? if so, you don't need to say, as I know surprising the audience is sweet :)
@@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces That would be great... it's one G-Shock that I've yet to add, but then again, I've had a few G-Steels and they're quite noisy when they hit metal objects and jaw bones LML :-P
I own the same watch, have it since September 2020, this watch won't charge past the fifty percent mark. It's a great looking watch and wears very comfortably, but the charging thing is perplexing to say the least.
@@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces I have left it at the window numerous times, heck I even got an LED charger, still at fifty percent, well at least it stays at fifty percent, unless the gage is stuck at fifty percent and the watch is fully charged. Maybe it needs to go below fifty percent before it starts charging. Like I said, it's perplexing. Otherwise the watch is fantastic.
Picked one up secondhand, mildly used, for 275€.
Couldn’t resist, impressive watch.
Only the damn keeper won’t stay put…

Nice. Great watch to have in the rotation for sure. Thanks for checking out the video!
I had the opportunity to try one on my wrist, it's bulky but I was impressed because it wears so well even in small wrist. Great video, Bob!
I was very surprised to find how well it wore for it's size too. Thanks Adrian.
Wow, what an awesome chunk of technology. I hope you do pick one up because it looks amazing. I think Casio did a great job with this one.
I love it. I'm sure I missed a lot of the features but I think I'll be adding one soon. Such a cool watch. Thanks J!

It's a little big but wears nicely though. I really like it. Thanks.

Well done Bob, hope you rock your new piece.
Thanks Kevin!
That's a great looking watch, and functional to boot. 👍

For sure. It's pretty cool where they taken G-shock over the years. The price does hurt a little but I think I'll be pulling the trigger on this one.

@@WatchUP69MrRangeman no it hasn't yet. I think there's a very good possibility of getting an MRG for a few at some point ;)

I have one coming tomorrow mr rangeman it’s the watch I said I’d never buy but have fell in love with it since
Got one 👌 best G shock ever 👍👍
Quick question, guys. How do we know it shows year and months like other square models?
It doesn’t.
Quite a lot of watch there!!
Certainly is! Thanks Joe.
I have been looking for this watch in India since last 1 year and yet not available.. 😔😔
Hopefully soon🙏
How would you compare this to the gpw2000 Gravitymaster
Wish I could help but I haven't gotten hands on with that one unfortunately.
Lug to Lug distance?

I didn't have this long enough to test the charging capabilities. Not sure why that would happen.

Very cool. Le-Beef
What size is your wrist?
It's 7.25 inches.
First, haha
Man that's a beast of a watch. Looks great on you. I bet the price isn't insignificant
It's a little up there price wise but I think I may have to pull the trigger. Thanks:)
Canadian ehh !
