Both Mallory and Georgie were great in the characters they played on Heartland, and each one were instrumental in supporting the primary storyline the Amy and Ty love story. Mallory from the earlier seasons 1 and 2 was always trying to get Amy and Ty together especially after Ty left for four months at the end of season 1. Georgie even played a more important role by bringing the entire Ahmed situation to a head especially by telling Amy how wrong she was in not telling Ty and the way she called out Ahmed on what he did in front of Ty and the whole family. I agree with you they both will be back on Heartland and that Georgie being Amy's neice will figure more prominently.
They wanted to grow their acting which is natural, they have ambition. Heartland has evolved over the years & will continue for as long they make the show. I'm really enjoying the new stories & characters, it's what keeps the series alive. We all move on with our lives & meet new people.
