Brilliant set of runs there, Brett. And your ability to keep that camera rock steady when smashing out a 200m rep is something to be marvelled at 😂😂

Thank you, it was a good week of training. Haha running a fast rep without pumping your arm is a strange feeling and probably a hindrance. Got to make sure those camera angles are right though haven't we haha.

Thank you Rod. Taper is going well thank you. I think my body is finding the lack of mileage strange though haha.

Loving the videos and the podcast. My wife and I watch your videos religiously. Really good stuff. Please keep the content coming. Good luck at Manchester. I'm running myself but I hope you get that good for age. Looks like you will!

Thank you Andrew. It's been a labour of love so fingers crossed it all comes together on the day and the hard work pays off

You see the goalposts have moved for GFA Brett?

I did see that this week yes. They've all moved down by five minutes which is a bit annoying but I suppose it means they will have less people entering through that process and the times are more realistic to actually get a place. I know a lot of people who ran the time needed but didn't get in this year. Fingers crossed I can hit my target time so I'll still have a bit of a buffer

Could your injury be a hamstring tendinopathy (not just tendonitis)? I have this injury and it requires single leg lift of heavy-ish weights to fix it by activating the hamstring

Touch wood I think I'm almost out of the other side of the injury now. Lots of hip mobility and glute exercises along with general strength and conditioning have really helped. My original injury was definitely Piriformis Syndrome on my right side and I think my left side issues were from compensating and stressing the other side too much. I just need to keep up the S&C now and not get lazy again
