    Hi Sir, I want to confirm if the 'margin of the error for confidence interval' means the planning value error or confidence interval error? You said in the video is 'planning value error' at 1:52. Looking forward to your reply.

    Hi. If we use the formula of Z2*p*(1-p)/e2, where the Z is the critical value from a normal distribution, p is the proportion, e is the margin of error. This formula will give a lower sample size as compared to the answer from Minitab. Why does this happen?
    Which one is the correct methodology?

    In the first example, 1:44 , How to calculate 80% accuracy level and the 3% margin of error?
    In the second example, 4:35 How to calculate the margin of error of 5 min?

      Accuracy level is defined from some quality check done in the process. It could be a sample or previous month quality report.
      Margin of error is the tolerance given to you by customer or you decide for your team internally.
