We just got ours today, June 8, 2020, and I quickly set it up to make sure the lights all worked (they did!). I didn't bother fluffing it up and wanted to get a better idea of how to do that. Thank you for posting your video!
I ordered the flip tree color plus clear lights and I got it in March. I want to set it up now! I usually only keep my tree up for 14-24 days each year but I think it’s going to be a little different this year. 🙂
If you read the instructions you start fluffing the 1st section before placing the next section, you will find it easier and better and the tree will look fuller.
Oh my gosh thank you so much for sharing I love it beautiful home, beautiful Christmas tree❗️ I will definitely be getting balsam Hill❗️🎄🎁 Merry Christmas, & I hope you are enjoying your Christmas tree again this year❗️❤️💝😊
Thanks for the video! Your tree is beautiful. May I ask how tall you are? I'm trying to decide between 6.5 or 7.5 ft tree. (I know your tree is 6.5). I assume your ceiling is 8ft high(?). just trying to get perspective to choose.
Yes, our ceilings are short. 8 feet seems about right. I'm 5'3 on a tall day. lol. Hope that helps! At the bottom of the Balsam Hill site they give some guidelines on choosing the right size tree for you room and we followed their guidelines. We really wanted a 7 foot tree but with our tree topper it was just too tall. Good luck!
Yes! They are so much sturdier. Our tree has two different kind of needles. A harder/sturdier plastic and then a softer (not like the tinsel) but not as hard as the full plastic. So, so much higher quality. Our other tree was just losing those tinsel ones constantly before and it was so annoying!
is the most realistic or just realistic cause right now it's on sale for 399! which is really expensive but at the same time it's an investment and hopefully lasts for years and years.
Yay for sales! This is the one we bought on Amazon and it appears to be $499 right now! www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FLTDJ6W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Yes, I had my husband connect the top and it works perfectly. I am delighted with this tree, my sister surprised me with it as she purchased one for herself.
Yes, we love it. So pretty! Here is the link to the one we ordered if it is helpful. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FLTDJ6W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
@@dmarie614 - Yes, we went with the 6.5 foot one. It could be that they aren't selling that one on Amazon right now. They should have it directly at BalsamHill.com as well.
Got my 6ft blue spruce Christmas tree coming tomorrow July 3rd from balsam hill they have a brilliant sale on at the moment they have been very helpful highly recommend this company can't believe I have to wait 5 months till Christmas roll on Christmas first ever Christmas tree that I'm getting excited to put up .Thanks for the video very helpful 👍
Yesterday, I researched these trees online. Reviews were very bad. Lights going out with no way to replace or lack of replacement supply and poor customer service. May get a tree from Home Depot or Big Lots.
We had to contact customer service and they were very helpful. I think if you get a pre-lit tree you do run the danger of lights going out at some point and not being able to replace them. Our tree came with a supply of replacement bulbs. Have fun shopping for the perfect tree for you and your family!
You are right to be leery of pre-lit trees, even more so at the premium price tag of Balsam Hill trees. Replacing a bulb or fuse is no big deal, the issue will be when the electrical connector between the tree sections fails and an entire section of tree won't light or must be aligned perfectly to make good contact, then it flashes with the slightest movement. Been there, done that... thankfully it was only a $200 tree. For the price of a Balsam Hill tree, it should last you a lifetime, so I'd advise investing in an Un-Lit Balsam Hill tree, but avoid a pre-lit tree.

Great tip, thanks!
What is the width of your 6.5 foot tree? I saw they had one that read 60 inches and another that was the "slim" version at 52 inches. Thanks!
Hi Albert- ours is the regular 60 inches and not the slim version.

so the needles are a sturdier plastic instead of tinsel like dept store trees is that right??

Balsam Hill tree is the ugliest Christmas tree I have ever owned.
