Well, you just sit in your studio and bring out one more track. This is what you do. You profession, you passion.
    Fine so fare.
But I hope you understand what jamming might mean to some of the listeners.
This really brought my into trance.
I am not kidding. That was really a relief. That helped, man.
I just closed my eyes and let the guitar do the talking.
That brought me so much. Right time, right track. Thank you so much.

Even though I'm two years late to finding this video, this has been a super big find for me. For a bit of context, in the last year I've picked up guitar and started playing at a local bar that hosts jam nights after a classmate invited us out. At first I was deathly afraid of going on the stage, then my friend forced me to play and I even though I thought I played like shit, almost everyone there gave me some sort of compliment. Now I'm starting to get to the point where I want to be able to jam with friends but have no concept of what would sound good. Having a video like this that visually shows where the intervals are is going to help me massively. Thank You.

    YEEEESSSSSS!
This is 👌! Finally someone has NAILED what chord diagrams should look like!
    Great work and THANK YOU!
I used to draw out these by hand when I was first learning, with different shapes for each interval and which ones to play over what chords, but it got so tedious and was hard to keep track of where to look, especially while still finding my way around the fretboard...
You have done something incredible here!
I'm yet to see anyone put so much effort into making just the right information available, right in front you when you need it, and I'm sure it'll feel even better once I learn your symbols a bit better.
If only every guitar backing track had this level of attention put into the videos!
You are doing a true service for all us learners out there, it really can't be understated!
You should collaborate with Quist sometime, my other favorite backing track creator....
I'm sure it would help you both grow your audience, and I would love to see what the two of you could do together!
Hopefully you guys don't see each other as competition..
Anyways, now that I'm done stroking your ego, do you ever take artist or song requests?
Lately I'm on a Santana and Gary Moore fling.... or maybe you already have them in the works....
Cheers mate, this is so awesome!

I just discovered this song and was very pleased to see my favorite backing track creator made a track for it. I’ve been using my looper pedal for it, but it sounds very good with the amount of attention put into this backing track. 🤘

Brother are you getting any sleep? I don't see how you are churning out this top-tier content at this rate. Make sure you take care of yourself.
This new format is awesome, I can't wait for the app!! The addition of the chords and the count/measures really helps me address my main weaknesses.
I think the best part though is the system you have developed over time to show the different mindset/perspectives with the shapes and colors of the notes on the fretboard, especially the triad/chordtone diamonds. I have struggled with this concept for a long time- I understood it intellectually but couldn't do it very well. I could zoom around scale patterns up and down the neck all day, but that gets boring and I would hear things in my head that I just couldn't get out. The first time I jammed to one of your vids with the the "just hit the diamonds a lot" system the melodies just jumped out on their own! As I keep doing it it is becoming second nature, and I can do it without looking at the video.
One thing about your system is that there is so much information it can be overwhelming. I found that If I just looked at two or three strings at a time it keeps it manageable and still sounded great! Once I got used to it I could look at the whole thing easily.

    • @nowyoushred
      @nowyoushred  3 роки тому +3

Thanks dude, I’m getting plenty of sleep, and a little help from my friends. The app will feature the ability to select small areas of the fretboard, so don’t worry about it being too overwhelming.

Listening to this as a stoned teenager, To me it was always "The Bar".
Taking up the guitar a bit later and in between raising a family ,I'd pick up and put down...but now I'm older and wiser, and with a bit more time to myself I find myself reaching for the bar, and feeling Eddie's soul in the bargain, I will never equal the talents of the man, but playing along with your help?
    None of that matters.
    Loving your stuff as always

I would recommend trying the E harmonic minor scale over the Em chord. Just play a regular E minor scale but with a D# note instead of a D natural note.
