There's something that is just so special about the Autumn light. Spring is so beautiful, Winter so restful and Summer so bountiful.....but Autumn is just special!
Thank you for your words and sights of encouragement Colette! Peace and Blessings to all in their gardens 🌱🪴🌳🌻
Hi Colette, Hope you and Patsy are both well. I have just spent the last few days waging war on a recalcitrant Buddleia intent of garden domination. I am covered in bruises as it put up a bit of a fight! However, I am glad to say I prevailed and the rest of the garden is suddenly looking very much larger. I could feel the surrounding plants let out a huge sigh of relief as they had been bullied almost into non-existence. I did a massive Snoopy dance to celebrate which, at my age, wasn't easy or particularly pleasant for the neighbours, but I felt very good about it! I admire your work ethic and the way in which you have always managed your woodland. It is so inspirational and I love to wander around your beautiful woodland with you on one of your danders! I have taken so many ideas from your vlogs. Thank you for being a source of so much inspiration for me. Bright blessings to you and Patsy. Debs
Snoopy on!!!! Who cares. It puts your joy in your land. Mother Earth will thank you.
Congratulations on your balancing the plants. Those butterfly trees are very aggressive and they can certainly take over. I do enjoy the beauty of their flowers and the ability to attract hummingbirds and butterflies...but it is essential to keep them to a minimum and not letting them go crazily out of control ❤😊
I enjoyed your description of the struggle and the 💃 🎉dance in the end❤
Oh my! How much I love your garden!. And that light! Whimsical, it seems like small folk are just ready to walk between worlds !
What a delightful surprise to view a video this morning. The lights are simply magical. Not at all obtrusive. Thank you for sharing. Blessings
Listening to you Colette when I should be asleep, but if I am to be sleep deprived, then let it be for this Fall beauty. A celebration of light! I love it. I have always especially admired the golden hues of the Autumn sun, the way everything glows.
Be blessed one and all - 🍂🍄
Beautiful! It's 2 A.M. here in Alaska. I went outside to view the Northern Lights and take pictures of the full moon. That was my beautiful light before bed. Your place is looking wonderful.
WOW !! how fantastic that must have looked ✨
I'm glad that you are so pleased with your new lighting. Again, for me, I'm relieved you have safe new wiring.
Bealteane = Paradise. Happy for you that you have gentle night light.
I’m so happy for you getting your new stove and your electricals fixed! What a great year including your dental work!
The lights are fabulous! 💕🌹💕
Colette, your videos are a true gift. ❤
Colette, that was just beautiful. I so enjoy your garden. Makes me happy ❤ Have a blessed day
The weather is absolutely fantastic 😍 Finally!
I love the way your woodland looks at night with the lights. It is like the scenery of a winter wonderland and music is about to play. 🎼🎹🎶🎻🎺🎵🎷
Your garden is so magical and special! I love it
The gardens are enchanting at night. I don't think I've ever seen your place after dark. It's a whole different vibe I love to walk around outdoors when there's a full moon.
Good morning to you, Colette. Your video today was another inspiring one. I love that you receive such joy from your land and cottage. You love both so much, and they love you back. Your gardens are so beautiful. I love the serenity that it gives. Blessings to you and Patsy. ❤
The play of your new outdoor light upon the trees and plants is lovely. The shadows add another dimension to the already magical atmosphere. It's so helpful to have access to extra light when you need it. Thank you for this video and Blessings to you and Patsy!
Hi Colette, Thank you for taking us around your beautiful grounds at Bealtaine on this lovely autumn morning! A bit chilly in the mornings but warms up as the day goes on here in Norfolk UK. Enjoy the rest of your day. Many blessings to you and dear little Patsy ❤❤
Thank you for your lovely videos, its so hard to stay positive in this ugly corrupt world you bring light and hope to my dark world xx
Morning Colette
I do find that the autumnal season has a magic all of its own that I find so beautiful and cosy.
I love all the colours and smells.
The sun makes all the colours sparkle ✨️ 💛 🧡 🤎 ❤️
Thank you for sharing your adorable home and garden.
From Leicester England xx
Thank you for such lovely videos Colette.
Such peace is always had when viewing the inside of your cozy cottage or the beautiful gardens, you so thoughtfully created, outside.
Thank you!
I love lights in the garden. I like fairy lights top. I don’t want to live in shadows too much.
Lovely; I see a lot of greenery for wreaths and swags! I imagine myself sitting in the conversation garden, listening to the birds.
I love the outside light. I make your gardens fook magical Suzanne
Lovely to hear the bird song.
Enchanting video, as always, Colette.
Beautiful chat for this Full Harvest Moon Lunar Eclipse and days away Equinox. Thank you
Greetings from Athens, Greece 🇬🇷, Colette. The Secret Garden 🪴 is still such a 🪄 Magic spot in the Wood. Were you to find a compatible soul (preferably a Hermit 🧙) to live in a tiny home on a far corner of your land, one would think you would be set (along with the recent rewiring 💡) for the next 50 years - no doubt about it. All kidding aside, may you continue to be active and productive in the Eden you have nurtured. You are an inspiration and an example to us all. 💚+💎, -V
Thank you once again for sharing the beauty and your wisdom I’m so happy for your new lights and wiring. Along with your stove. Everyone deserves to feel safer at home. You are an inspiration to us all. Blessings and hugs to my new friend from Katie in Arkansas.
Those outside lights are a game changer. Happy for you!
Colette we`ll be calling you Snow Whiite with the beautiful cottage and all the wildlife around you, bonus not having all the lads mind you. So gorgeous esecially in the sunlight, actually no matter what the weather but the sun and warmth allows you to sit and enjoy meals and snacks outside for longer, just wonderful. Your cottage looks incredibly cosy through the window all lit up. Must be Heaven outdoors with such little light poloution esecially on a Moonlight night. Enjoy and Hugs to Patsy E x
Love your Home!!!!
Magickal as usual! Many hugs
Beautiful!
Garden looks lovely in the shadowy night light. ir reveals the shapes in a whole new way. Bravo !
Beautiful as always. ❤❤
I really enjoy your videos. They are soothing to the soul and it is wonderful to see you care for your land as a gift that will be passed along to another generation. Kudos.
Amazing! Looks beautiful. The bird sounds, caught the attention of Violet ( a 7 yr old black and gold calico). She became so excited, I had to give her a treat 😸
The outdoor lighting is wonderful.
Happy September and tonight is a full moon with an eclipse. Going to enjoy it with my favorite guy ( the grandson).
Many Happy Blessings & Joy 🐝🐝🐝
Love your yellow paint. It’s so cheerful which I’d say will be much needed in the dark days of winter! 🤣
Thank you, Colette🥰🥰🥰
Thank you Colette xx
Lovely video Colette. It's nice to have some light outside the cottage when you need it. Hugs and love to Patsy and you ❤❤
Красота!
Lovely day there.
You are amazing. We mostly had grayish day here in Western Oregon with a bit of a breeze, and clearly we are heading into a real Autumn. Always enjoy your videos though I didn't get to it until quite late this evening. Enjoy your week🍁
🐕🍁🍂🤎🧡 love the changing light!
Lovely! .the new lighting will do benefit your evenings in the autumn evenings. snd in the early mornings!
🍂🍂🍂🐿️🦇✌🏼🍁Blessings
I make myself coffee and put it in a jam jar to take out with me. I love cold coffee so it works well for me lol
I highly recommend the movie All the Light We Cannot See (on Netflix.) Kinda reminded me of your message today. ❤️
The drink sounds delicious. I’m partial to a simple iced mint tea
I look forward to the day when work means working on tasks around my property instead of working for a paycheck. Big diff.
Me too ❤
The Best Is Yet to Come ❤️💜❤️🕊️🙏🌎
Thank you for sharing.🤗
Hello from the USA this morning---hope your well!!!
Going to make your energy drink. I've been paying those prices too. Glad you clarified "squash". I was about to grab a vegetable.😆 I like to make a tea of lemon balm and hibiscus and a bit of honey for a calming tea after yard work.
Fabulous 💕💕💕
I have overhead solar lights, inspired by yours (when you had them). They are brilliant! Into their 3rd year and going strong. No electricity at all. Visitors always compliment them. The foxes set them off at night but they are used to them.😊
I stopped keeping my self made drinks in plastic bottles (water from my deep well with lemon juice, or a bit of squash, ginger cordial, tea). Each plastic (PET) bottle brings up to 240.000 particles of micro- and nanoplastic into our bodies. That’s what I learnt at an International Conference about this horrific problem, it was hosted by University College Dublin some three weeks ago. Those particles not only can act like sand paper in our blood vessels and organs, they also attract different bacteria like magnets. Biofilms then can be formed, which antibiotics cannot penetrate anymore.
Furthermore the phthalates in most plastics act as hormone disruptors, which can lead to breast cancer and prostate cancer (and more cancers). Not to talk about the harms to our wild life. Politicians don’t give a f*** about this continuing pollution, which cannot be contained anymore. The global companies are allowed to pollute our planet more and more, we consumer buy more and more of that stuff, not knowing about the damage to our health and to the water. Clothes made of fleece release masses of microplastics into the environment too 😢
But each consumer could make a little difference, especially for the sake of their own health.
Great info you have provided. Thanks for this. I do have other containers which I will use.
A friend locally introduced me to a red clover flower cordial - as a soft drink it is delish! Mixed with soda water , better than champagne! (well sorta)
You mentioned the Milky Way, but I’ve recently seen some fantastic photos of Aurora Borealis (northern lights) from the north of Ireland & some from Omagh.
And lots here above the cottage! I put up a video showing the dramatic light show.
LOL rocket fuel! It does sound good. September is so special and yes, we've been blessed with an Indian Summer here. 🌕 👍😎🇨🇦
Lovely light🌕 Your photos are beautiful. Good idea for your own energy drink. I’ve been making mint and apple peel tea and drinking it hot and cold. Citrus is pricey here in western Canada so I’m using what I have: apples, black currants, blackberries etc. (FYI: I only use my apples or foraged apple peels as store ones have been coated.)
Well, that’s some lovely ideas for drinks!
💚💚💚
Beautiful lights....I like to do cold healing herbal tea with the herbs I grow trying new kinds...adding a bit of good honey or maple sirup.lime lemon..I love Marocain ( greentea and lemon) . I do it at night in big mason jar in fridge for the next day. Fresh thym tea is very good...I go with the season and what mother brings .
Oh wow….. a shadow gardenxxx
The drink is a good idea. It's so expensive to buy them these days. I have taken to making West African hibiscus juice. To keep mine healthier i have replaced white sugar with unrefined coconut sugar. Next time i make it i'm going to try using agave.
Thanks for sharing
😢Awwwww I too have baby colored doves,, that were born in my tree by my back gate... They are, so cute,,🕊️🕊️, lovely weather as you have.. Lots to do..... Full moon tonight super moon..Harvest moon good for manifesting your hearts desire be carefully what you wish for .🌝✨😕🌚🌝 My birthday on the 20th....🎑I'm so happy with what I call MY SEPTEMBER which I share with you all 😂😂😂✨blessings to you dear Collette 💫🙏💫
Happy birthday, Henrietta XXX Colette and Patsy
❤Have a wonderful Birthday 🎂
@@bealtainecottage thankyou,,,, ahhh I will be 72... How did I get this old.. 🤣👌💕
@@parry3231thanks so much 😘
Blessings Colette 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿❤❤❤
I would love to see your tools. Are you using and saws for cutting? How to you prune upper limbs? Lovely to see you, Patsy and the Land.
I use a pruning saw which is particularly good. I also use heavy duty loppers and secateurs.
for drinks, I do the same as you but also add a smidge of honey and the tiniest pinch of salt as this makes the drink full of electrolytes.
Thanks for sharing that recipe, sounds like a good idea!
And I add a bit of Elderberry syrup I make every August from my shrubs (and leave some berries for the birds!) that usually lasts till Spring for its taste and immune health.
❤
Collette, I love it! Ive been making my own for a while now and shudder to think to buy off the shelf, they add all kinds of sugar and tricky bits for preserving.. I like to use ground cardamom, cinnamon , fresh grated ginger with diced up apples or berries or both. some times as I brew the tea I simmer up whole star anise and some cloves.... it's all good and nothing is ever the same. You can store in several glass jars and label with made up names for fun. Yours sounds great ! what kind of squash do you use? Cheers my dear !!!! Yours could be called
Rocket Squash Supreme.
❤❤❤
Thanks
Thank you very much for your kindness and support.
@@bealtainecottage You are more than welcome. I adore your videos. You are such an inspiration. Best wishes to you and to darling Patsy. From Julia, presently living in the Cotswolds.
Fuscia trees that you have there are amazing to me. I have only ever seen them growing in hanging baskets here in Texas. They are so beautiful. Can you do anything with the wood? Is it a soft wood or a hardwood? Does is burn well? Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us.
Depending on your zone in Texas, Fuchsia may survive the winter and grow similarly to Colette's. I'm in Michigan so winter is too harsh and kills them
Free energy soon
The N Machine is a great resource for free energy. It is a process that is ongoing and is a spinning gyroscope surrounded by a circular magnet that is always creating energy for electricity.
Silent and nonpolluting ❤
Bruce De Palma created it in the 1970s, check it out on utube ❤
"perfick " 💟
squash as in the vegetable? I'll do strawberries, cucumber, some lemon or orange, then I'll put a tablespoon of silver solution in it for a good immune booster. fresh berries are coming to a close, so I will start to stock up on the frozen, but those are getting pricey.
You have inspired me. I have an area behind the house and it is just there. If you know what I mean. We put feed out for the birds and corn for the deer and squirrels. Our neighbor got chickens last year and they pop over for a bite. It is shaded and the soil is not really good for growing much except moss. Anyway , I have plants that can only be shaded to partial sun so I put them out there and they love it. ! So I am going to make it a fairy garden. 🧚♂️. I just put some solar walk lights to make a path , I got a small bird bath, on the other end I put a kiddie pool for frogs. Today, I put a chair overlooking the path area and I can see it really taking shape. By next spring it will be magical.
❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Your photography and videos are absolutely beautiful and always enjoyed by this kindrid spirit of Bealtaine! What type of camera do you use?
I have several, cameras including a Sony bridge camera and an old iPhone.
@@bealtainecottage Thank you and have a blessed day!
Hello Colette, just sent something through paypal.. let me know if everything is ok because I'm a little awkward with technology. Hugs from Italy 🌸😊
Thank you so very much that’s very kind of you! I will post you a little card on Friday to say proper thanks! Blessings Colette
Colette.. you give so much to us..and to Life❤
Wonderful as always.
??? Wondering do you burn any and all wood or is some not really suitable???
Ive read online that conifer, chestnut, alder and a few others have high levels of resin which leave behind a sticky residue, some woods are very smoky and willow is said to have a high moisture level. Of course I know and understand that it all needs to be well seasoned but I’d love to hear your views and experience on different woods.
Thank you and blessings to everyone xx
All wood, well seasoned!
@@bealtainecottagethank you xx
👍♥️🙏🇺🇸
Collette is you make shift bird feeder proving to be effective at keeping the rats away?
I love to feed the birds but I had to stop due to the number of rats that were climbing the feeders to get to the food. How I miss it so ❤
It’s 100% rat proof!
@@bealtainecottage agh that’s great news Collette I’m off now to make one xxxx thank you so much
Hello Colette! Love your channel! Did you know there is a car commercial before your audio?
Sadly, I had to monetise as UA-cam was shadow banning me for all the 11 years that I was advertisement free.
are you sure you wouldn't adopt me 😁😁, mom
Quantum financial system
Quantum education system
Quantum healing technology etc etc coming soon
Colette, are you not troubled by your neighbours cats , I love my birds & squirrels that visit my garden but I am troubled by all the cats that have started to come in , I feed the birds everyday but I am troubled by seeing the cats grabbing the birds off the table & from the ground, it’s so upsetting to see x
They mostly come up to the cottage at night.
