A good high risk high reward trap is rds 1+2,4 into 4 launcher. It’s more a callout trap if you know they’ll press buttons. I notice in blue ranks and above they’ll respect plus frames.
What moves do u guys usually use to get in? I’m kinda hardstuck at Tekken king the main problem im sometimes not sure how to approach the enemy without getting whiffpunished.
what do you think of ff3? thats my get-in move as of late. ff3's is 14f but it's range is fantastic. Stay out of range 1-2, wait for an opportunity, then ff3 to get in. FF3 goes into BT, so if you have a solid BT game you create a strong situation where's there's answer to everything. after ff3, usually you want to hold db to backout and observe. Since it ducks, quick high moves are evaded. You'll want them to start committing to slower and long mid pokes or fast mid pokes that can be evaded or counter hit. If they start throwing lows you can ch or worst case, use low crushes like uf1 or stepping. A good counterplay to Ling's BT pressure is for the opponent to backdash out. That's when the iWS tech matters so you can keep the space to continue pressure.
@@KidUncommon Maybe i just suck but doing the iws2 is so hard on controller i don’t know how to get it smoothly without doing the secondary version that creates more distance
@@blackdiamond097 it's an unusual input but it's not that bad, turn on simply display to see the window to buffer u,uf,f or u,uf,f,df. u,uf,f lets Ling turn around without crouching, but she can block. u,uf,f,df will have her duck the whole time so she'll evade highs this tech lets her do the same gameplan with df1, 2 1, and 1,d+2. Wecka and Cadence use it alot in their pressure. It really expands Ling's boxing
I need to use 3 more and sidestep. Off topic question, I don’t see you using UF, 3+4 that much. It’s safe and can follow up into rain dance. What are your thoughts on that move?
I love your videos! I don’t get why my ff3 sometimes doesn’t pick off the ground, instead it sends them flying. Other times i get them to pop up, bot sure why
The timing on that sidestep looks super difficult tho, i doubt i can make it work without taking a mid attack 😢 I’m guessing its just experience and playing the game more that would give me the feel on when to ss (currently 10 hours into the game 😂)
Omg why you say side step got buff, it got nerfed, it takes longer to actuakblove itbwent from 5 frame to 7 or even 8 sidestep are slower in game way more faster and linear with everything tracking (exept for xiaoyu because obviously she get fucked...) How and where do you see a buff to sidestep ? Xiaoyu special movements doesnt count while yes in t8 they offer arguably more options than in t7
I doubt it. She's none existent in both casual and rank top 15. Plus her pick rate is really low overall. Most people complaining about Xiaoyu don't know the matchup and lose to knowledge checks. She isn't a character that's easy to abuse like a broken character typically is.
@@Prolyfyk I don't get it. EVERYONEEEEE complains about Xiaoyu as if she murdered their mom. But barely anyone plays her in ranked or in competitive. I get it, she is strong, but why is she getting this much flak
@@Mufire1991 She gets a lot of flack bc a few top players had trouble handling one of the best Ling in world. In older games you could just keep her out. Now you actually have to fight her which people dont like. lol

Can we get a frame trap setups guide? Struggling to apply the right frame trap pressure with her

@@gunbei surely giving that a try! I only do b+3 and ff+4 as frame trap but then they start ducking since both of those are highs.
Frame trap guide soon?
It took me over an hour to hit this but it was worth it. Thanks for the tech its great practice
Please make punishment against Reina and Yosimitsu 🙏
When I trying to follow up ws 3 with fw fw 3 it’s just know my opponent away so I can’t follow up on the combo am I doing something wrong?
Hey, thank you for all the content.
I'm also curious, is there any point of punishing rly -lows with held WS2 over ub3??

f + 2, 1 is great for me. 1,2 is good. I think AOP 1+2 is another good one, and even UF3+4.

Second combo doesn’t work from player 2.
It does. You just have to input hyp to the other direction 😊

She is only broken if you use her right especially heat mode

The only thing I think might be too much is her heat string into UB4 in the corner, or the grab combo that ends with guaranteed UB4
