Oooo my goodness...jaw drop all the way!! This song is already amazing to begin with but hearing it with Floor is on another level, gave me major chills
Thank you for reacting to this one, Jynger! Chills all over, every single time! The duet that never happened...those two together would have been "A Kind Of Magic"! And so was your reaction❣Let's have a cup of coffee!
Such a tragic loss when Freddie passed. But, imagine if Floor and Freddie got together. A match made in heaven! It would have broke the internet! I think you would have got through a box of tissues! Always enjoy your reactions. They are so heartfelt. There is an amazing song that doesn’t get the exposure that it deserves and I think you would love it. It’s Soilwork featuring Floor Jansen “Let This River Flow”. Love for you to do a reaction to it.
Stunning mix of two of the greatest voices in popular music. Who wants to live forever always had, for me anyway, a poignancy about it, now all the more so since Freddie's passing. Freddie could not only belt out the power, he could be incredibly tender in his performances, for example, Those were the days of our lives. Talk about a performance which gets you in the feels! Sadly, we will never get to hear this live, but this is a great mix. Kudos to the producers. Floor's vocals drag you in, instantly, but when Freddie's vocals come in, goosebumps and tears. In interview after interview, when Floor has been asked who she would love to duet with, she always replies, instantly, Freddie Mercury.
I got chills before I even played your reaction. Y'see, Who Wants to Live Forever is my favourite Queen track, to one of my favourite films (Highlander) and when you put Floor in the mix.... well that's beyond perfection!
"Who dares to love forever?" All resides in this single question. All the hope, all the heartbreaking disapointments. Painful to me even after so many years. Btw, a great pick, Jynger. Thanks.
i love queen and this is the only song that makes me cry and this song was made for highlander and there is nothing like driving around scotland listening to queen
Thank you for this emotional reaction. I see the last picture every day because I have it as wallpaper on my monitor. I hope Brain does another tribute to this song with Floor and Tommy from Sabaton as vocalist.
I think Adam Lambert has done a fine job of carrying that band on a bit longer. We have a lot to be thankful from Floor... The world became a better place when she joined Nightwish.... and she has finally achieved the success and acceptance (even in Netherlands) she fully deserves.
I was also very lucky to see Queen live with Freddie and I have seen Nightwish with Floor , the thought of them both together singing on is just mindblowing what an awesome song x
Floor's part in this song is actually a recording from her After Forever days - I think they might have issued it on an After Forever EP - the song was featured as a theme song to the movie "The Highlander"
@JyngerSlapz: I'm just saying, if Floor had been born in 1966, she may have actually sung for Queen. And had that actually happened, it would have been one of the most iconic duets to have ever sung into a mic. Nobody, and I mean nobody, can change my mind about this. Edit: I almost forgot to mention: It is a bittersweet irony that a song that asks, "Who wants to live forever?" does exactly that, immortalizing two amazing vocalists for all time -- thus, answering the question, that they will live forever.
Am not crying your crying I was simply cutting onions at the time but 2 of the best singers in the music history sadly we will never see it happen in real time
Beautiful. Thank you. Freddy and Brian performing 'Love of my Life' at Rock in Rio '85 with 350,000 people participating will make you cry Jyngerslapz.
Due to obvious reasons this duet didn't take place in real life but how wonderful it would have been these singers sang together. That duet woud have been unbeatable.
What I like about your reviews is the fact you, unlike other reviewers. You don't stop the videos to give your opinion. Bloody great performance blending two brilliant singers. Loved it! Keep up the great work. Cheers 😭👍stay 😎
I love Nightwish and Floor since After Forever and Freddy Mercury was great, but for me the very best rendition of this song is Queen - ft. Adam Lambert in the Isle of Wright concert, the day after and dedicated to the victims of the shooting at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida. Roger Tayler commented later in a documentary that he had never heard it like that.
Hello Jynger! If you thought this was something you want to listen to the version of it sung by Tommy Johannson, the lead guitarist of Sabaton. I don’t think you’ve been turned on to him yet in his absolutely amazing power vocals he does it cover every week for about a year now and he has been blowing up the Internet hundreds of reactors dropping their jaws at him.
Same here J, that picture at the end kills me. The song also makes me so emotional anyway and with Floor, well what can I say. Floor was asked if she could sing with annyone who would it be and of course she said Freddie Been a Queen fan since I heard Bohemian Rhapsody in 1975 but not now without Freddie.
First timer here. Didn’t see a Queen playlist. As long as you are doing duets, have you done actual duets with Freddie and Spanish opera singer Montserrat Caballe. Barcelona, How Can I go On, Golden Boy.
I think this came out during the COVID break, Floor did quite a bit to entertain us and also keep herself sane I think? When you posted this some 11 hours ago, I got chills right away knowing what was coming! Much Luv! Only a week left in my leg cast! Cannot wait!
Just beautiful 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💞💞💞 Now have a listen to Tommy Johansson's version 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 Tommy helped produce Floors covers during lockdown. He is an amazing talent 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 You should also not show your husband the Tommy videos 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I saw Queen when they headlined at a concert in a castle (Cardiff, Wales, UK) back in 1976. Queen were a great 70's Rock band (with a revival after the Live Aid gig in the 80's) and Freddie was a magnificent vocalist who puts a lot of emotion into his live version of this song of theirs. Gotta admit, don't really 'get' why this cover/mash-up/mix with another vocalist edited over Freddie was made but I do know she's admired for her vocals by a lot of people.
I seen queen with Paul Rogers, where they did queen and Bad Company songs. Unfortunately, when I seen them, Freddie had been dead for a very long time.
In terms of stage presence and charisma Floor is a reincarnated Freddie. It is no surprise at all that Floor apparently wishes she could have sung with Fred. Floor guesting with Queen, or Fred guesting with Nightwish would have fantastic. Your liking of Nightwish, your liking of Queen your wish that Floor and Fred could have sung together.............are you my long lost sister?
Now listen to Tommy Johansson s cover of the same song , He is a gem ( guitarist in Sabaton ) He have a great voice. Multitalanted Greetings from nwAse Sweden
I am probably not going to be popular here. While she is a great singer, she did not really fit in here, I'm an old school Queen fan, and she was a we bit to theatrical in the wrong places. Freddie is measured here, given the theme of the song, that is important.
You're right, I feel it the same way, her voice does not fit this special song. Way too dramatic.... But when Freddie starts singing, oh boy, shivers immediately running down my spine. I just love his voice and Queen since 1975. He is the only singer on the planet who has this effect on me.
I'm pretty sure if we had gotten this duet in real life world peace would have broken out. Love both of them so much
Duet of the Giants - the best duet ever!
I am one of the lucky ones who saw Queen with Freddie live on stage. An amazing band with one of the world greatest vocalists.
Me too: 19 June 1986 - Leiden, The Netherlands
Same. Phoenix, AZ. Bill Squier was the opening act.
Las Vegas at the Aladdin theater sometime in the mid '80s.
I did too :) Wembly 86
Oooo my goodness...jaw drop all the way!! This song is already amazing to begin with but hearing it with Floor is on another level, gave me major chills
100%!!
Its almost hard NOT to cry when listening to Floor sing.
Thank you for reacting to this one, Jynger! Chills all over, every single time! The duet that never happened...those two together would have been "A Kind Of Magic"! And so was your reaction❣Let's have a cup of coffee!
Thank you my friend!
The QUEEN and KING. Awesome. Thanks Paashaas for this Mix.🤘
I bet the chemistry on stage would have been....well, no words.
Freddie and Floor are my favourite singers of all time, here singing one of my favourite songs of all time. If only their paths could have crossed ❤
Such a tragic loss when Freddie passed. But, imagine if Floor and Freddie got together. A match made in heaven! It would have broke the internet! I think you would have got through a box of tissues!
Always enjoy your reactions. They are so heartfelt.

In another world, it would have been a collaboration for the ages.

Oh my , didn't even know this version existed,! Chills & tears! 😢😢
I got chills before I even played your reaction. Y'see, Who Wants to Live Forever is my favourite Queen track, to one of my favourite films (Highlander) and when you put Floor in the mix.... well that's beyond perfection!
You are so right, Jynger. This combination is the best there could have been. The 2 best voices ever in this world ❤🥲
"Who dares to love forever?" All resides in this single question. All the hope, all the heartbreaking disapointments. Painful to me even after so many years. Btw, a great pick, Jynger. Thanks.
Try to imagine them doing an actual duet!😲 Mind blowing thought! Two of the best (if not THE best) of their generations.
The first notes of our Dutch pride🎉 gave me imidiately chills all over, she dod it that good that i am sure Freddie is loving this as well in heaven
i love queen and this is the only song that makes me cry and this song was made for highlander and there is nothing like driving around scotland listening to queen
It's cool to live today, where it's technically possible to bring together two legends who have missed each other in life and time.
Thank you for this emotional reaction. I see the last picture every day because I have it as wallpaper on my monitor. I hope Brain does another tribute to this song with Floor and Tommy from Sabaton as vocalist.
It is unfortunate that Freddie & Floor's lives didn't over lap enough to make this a reality. Think Floor was 10 years old when Freddie passed.
I think Adam Lambert has done a fine job of carrying that band on a bit longer. We have a lot to be thankful from Floor... The world became a better place when she joined Nightwish.... and she has finally achieved the success and acceptance (even in Netherlands) she fully deserves.
A dream of mine. BEST male Queen and female Goddess duet ever. Is this an album?
Yes, that's correct.....but, what could have been
holy shit this has got me, only a few secs in and i amready trying not to break, specially when Freddie came in, wow
I was also very lucky to see Queen live with Freddie and I have seen Nightwish with Floor , the thought of them both together singing on is just mindblowing what an awesome song x

A massive shoutout to Paashaas2013, who made this and other amazing remixes.
OK, I'm in complete tears, ya happy? Thank you, I never knew this existed.

The King and Queen of Music!!! ❤❤❤
Floor was once asked who would she love to do a duet with living or dead. She said Freddie Mercury.
I normally have an absolute zero tolerance on Queen covers but my god that was amazing!
Im totaly cry..
...great combo 🤘😊👌
Queen en the Queen❤
My favorite ❤
great one! shame that it never happend... floor is called the female freddy, now you know why!
great reaction Yynger!
Beautiful. Thank you.
Freddy and Brian performing 'Love of my Life' at Rock in Rio '85 with 350,000 people participating will make you cry Jyngerslapz.
This makes me cry but it's so beautiful.

The queen singing Queen.

LOVE YOUR EMOTIONS💘💞💘
Ciao Bellissima Jynger..Grazie 🌹
Well, we have to thank the lead guitarist Brian May (now Dr. May) for writing this masterpiece.
First timer here. Didn’t see a Queen playlist. As long as you are doing duets, have you done actual duets with Freddie and Spanish opera singer Montserrat Caballe. Barcelona, How Can I go On, Golden Boy.
A little FYI that most people forget or are unaware of is that Brian May sings the first verse.
I think this came out during the COVID break, Floor did quite a bit to entertain us and also keep herself sane I think? When you posted this some 11 hours ago, I got chills right away knowing what was coming! Much Luv! Only a week left in my leg cast! Cannot wait!
This mashup wasn't done by Floor. They took the after forever version/cover of the song and mixed it with original recording.
Just beautiful 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💞💞💞

THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE🗡💀
I am imaging Floor with a katana in hand...
My song . From Highlander.
Good morning!!!
Good Afternoon!

Breaking Benjamin did a cover of this years ago. I enjoyed their take on it.
🤘🇫🇮👍🔥❤️
🤗🍒🤘🏻😘
Please check the After Forever version. I don’t know who made this, but I don’t think that’s an official release.
👄👄👄👍👍👍💖💖💖
Chech out floor and simone simons in sweet curse in floors revamp time. You will love it
try the after forever one that is a better mix
if it only could have been......
Is this a real thing? As in, is it available for purchase anywhere?
I believe it was created by a fan. I could be wrong on that though
Plis
...why love must die? 😢

Uh-oh...Floor fanboys will try to cancel you, they can't bear the thought of someone being better than her
@@alexandremaireno-ni4ec "Oh no what will I do?" Yah if this was not her trying to be Freddie, that might work, but she is not Freddie
Lajf no self no tiler petr jony
The difference is that Floor can perform live a very very high quality but Freddie couldn't.
Freddie couldn't perform live in high quality??? Who could then?
If you bother to answer, please try to do it in a non-Floor fanboy way
Sorry. I don't think her voice is up to it. Interesting to listen to, though.
its fan made this , not real
