I am using Hikvision NVR DS-8664 64 channel NVR with BOSCH camera, the playback and the main view of the camera does not play smoothly. please help me out.
Hi I have a annke NVR N46PCK and annke 8mp dome cameras i91BM and I’m noticing the I have the same issues but my incoming bandwidth is 80mbps should I use the same settings as you used.
Why would you not want to use H.265+? There are many multiple IP camera deployments when bandwidth resource limitations exist, and you will not stream remotely fluently in H.264. Hikvision encoding is terrible so you either have to lower FPS and resolution or you use H.265. If you have a better solution lets hear it please!
@@WentworthCCTV try playback a h265+ recording, no cellphone supports it and Apple hardware also doenst. Just a shity choice if you support a deployment with many end users. Conceptionally I understand the benifit, but support isn't wide enough. Also h264 should playback smoother in remote viewing vs h265 normal since the NVR is designed to compress it yes but client hardware isn't so well at decompression. Not h265 and h265+
I liked this explanation man. Very easy to follow along. Thanks for sharing 👍
You are awesome, very helpful video. Thanks 👍

Are you playing back remotely or through a monitor connected to the NVR itself???

Good stuff
Thank You!

Yes, that is a pretty cost-effective NVR I would turn down your fps to 8 or 10 and see what happens.
The camera MPs resets when you choose something new on the tools. You went from a 8MP camera to a 12MP camera.
You don't want to use h265+

@@ErikThiart I use H.265 at a few locations and it plays back on my I phone 12 through Hik-Connect. What model NVR are you using?
Which NVRs have exceptional bandwidth and encoding?
It’s a good video, but the content information is way too slow instructions wise. You could do this in half the time
