I am not a consecrated virgin as I have a biological daughter (and, God willing, soon will be a grandmother), but I see the gift of spiritual motherhood blossoming in my life through my work and service. The Bridegroom makes us fruitful, indeed! Thanks Dawn for your inspiration! Blessings
❤ thank you for these videos. They’ve been a great help to me - if I indeed become a consecrated virgin, it’s thanks to you and your content! God bless you ❤
It’s fascinating how God calls all consecrated virgins to a similar vocation…what beauty…it sort of makes it easier for me to see that this might really be what I’m called to 😊
Another wonderful video, thank you for these thoughts! When I discovered that spiritual motherhood was a thing, it resonated so deeply in my heart. Mary's spiritual motherhood to us all is what brought me into the faith initially, and so it is my aspiration moving forward to be spiritual family to the people God points out to me.
Hello. I just found your channel. I have been researching Consecrated Virginity for some time now. And it is a very beautiful and special calling! To be consecrated property of God, and His wife! But, in my search for "Consecrated Virginity", there is something that intrigues me... Oh! I'm sorry... This is not a criticism, but something that I really can't understand: Why do consecrated virgins (at least all the ones I have seen) dress in ordinary clothes, dye their hair, nails, wear jewelry, etc.? This seems strange to me, because if they are "brides of Christ", shouldn't they leave behind the "vanities" of the world?! Saint Paul says that "married women care for the things of the world, to please their husbands, but unmarried women and virgins should care for the things of the spirit, to please the Lord". So, wouldn't it be better if Consecrated Virgins wore something that differentiated them from other Christian women! For if the Consecrated Virgin needs to be a witness to the world that she is consecrated to the Lord, how will people know this if she dresses just like everyone else? Oh! Of course, you might say, she will distinguish herself by her posture and way of living! Yes! But in truth, all Christian women - even if they are not 'Consecrated Virgins' - also need to distinguish themselves by their posture, and they also need to bear witness as good Christians in relation to worldly women. If this is not the case, when a 'Consecrated Virgin' is in a public place, she will only be recognized as the Spouse of Christ if she tells everyone so! I have actually thought about this consecration, but whenever I see a Consecrated Virgin dressed in ordinary clothes, with jewelry and dyed hair... it doesn't appeal to me... because I would like to be a bride of Jesus in the world, but dress like a consecrated woman, with a dress (or even a skirt and blouse) that is unique, so that I don't have to worry about the vanities of the world, and I would like to wear a veil, of course!... Oh! Then, perhaps you will say to me: "Then, you should go to a Convent of nuns who do missionary work, and wear a habit!" But, what I am trying to say is that a woman who consecrates herself as a "Bride of Christ" - regardless of whether she is a nun, celibate, hermit, or a Consecrated Virgin - should leave the "vanities" of the world, and wear something that really sets her apart from other Christian women. I know someone could still say to me: "But it is not the habit that 'makes a monk'!" Indeed, it does not 'make' him, but 'identifies' him; and, in a way, it requires her to 'bear witness' to what her habit represents! But, if she dresses in ordinary clothes, she can easily go unnoticed among the crowd, and not worry about 'being a witness'. Oh! Sorry if I was very annoying, but, as I said: it is something I cannot understand. I would also like to know if it is possible for Consecrated Virgins to wear a unique type of uniform? Sorry if I expressed myself badly; I am using an electronic translator; I am Brazilian.
Oh Mary ever Virgin Please have mercy to us girls who lost our virginity by rape and incest And even we got pregnant May we still had Chance and no changes to be future nuns or consecrated virgins of Brides of Christ Amen 😭🥺 I am asking if I can be a nun or consecrated virgin if I became a single mother from r*pe or inc*st? Can I be? Yes or no?
I actually want to be a consecrated virgin or bride of Christ 🙏🏻🕊️💔😇 I pray I could be a consecrated virgin Unfortunately 😭 SAINT GORRETI,ANGES JOAN, AGATHA, DYMPHA AND PHILOMENA ARE ALL CALLED VIRGINS I need a saint who literally got raped, lost her hymen. Bear offspring after abuse. She is a literal victim of rape! Like Saint Francis who became poor, so-called patron of the poor. Unfortunately Some woman their childhood Became Victim of sexual abuse and incest 😭 I wonder what Jesus thinks of girls and children victims of sexual abuse Then results children by rape And diseases, and worst disability by verbal abuses 😭🥺✨But I wonder can a young girl who was a victim of rape or incest and have child/ren after rape, Can be a bride of Christ?😭🥺 May God grand my novena That the Catholic church one day have a saint Who was a victim of female sexual assaults. Or a saint who was a victim of rape then results offspring after it. May God have mercy to us survivors.. Or maybe one day I'll be a saint for children victims of sexual assaults. I shall not be allowed the universal church didn't have a holy victim like me 😭😇
