Tackar. Det är inte ofta vi får komplimanger från DK. Det är sant, i både handboll och fotboll. Har stor respekt för Schmeichel. Trots förlusten så var han i sina kommentarer väldigt fair mot oss hela vägen till finalen. Det var inte illa vad ni gjorde i Sverige 1992 eller 2021. Ni skulle ha vunnit mot Eng på samma sätt som vi skulle ha vunnit mot FRa för att vi och ni var bättre än de stora länderna. Frågan är varför domarna inte kan stå emot att döma för de stora länderna på de små länders bekostnad ? Jag dock gillar mest vad ni åstadkom när ni för första gången kom in på världsscenen i fotboll det vill säga 1986. Ta inte illa vid dig men ni faktiskt fanns inte på fotbollskartan innan dess. Det stordåd ni uppvisade då och direkt spelade riktigt vackert mycket tack vare den fantastiska trion, och mina personliga danska favoriter vid namnet Elkjer, Lerby och den störste av de alla Michael Laudrup. Respekt.

Ok, let's check this out at the bright side. To Croatians, football is life. They won the second place, that's the best they got in ages. Second place, nothing bad happened when they returned home, it took them six hours to get to their final destination, and it usually takes half an hour. France got the gold, yet people got hurt. Now, I'm not hating France or anything, both teams did an amazing job at the finals. But Croatians *adore* football. They literally live for it.

This was too depressing. We dont view it this way mostly. Many of us knew this team could have won big cups for last 10 years and being in the finals in this one is not a big surprise for me. Sucks for England, but we did as well as we could considering the inexperience of the team and the quality. Many of our fans expected us to get no further than group stage, so glad we got to the Semi-Final. Congratulations to Croatia, would be great if Croatia upset France and won the whole thing. Personaly, i think that 70 percent statements about what brings joy to croatian people in this video are simply wrong. For example, for me, living in Croatia, there are many things that bring me joy, more joy than football succes...so to much drama in this video, selected photos of ruined playgrounds, like there are no new playgrounds etc...cherry picking.
Mamić is actually a polarizing figure in Croatia. Not everyone is hating him and reason to that is that, although he had been stealing for a long time, he still did things for Dinamo Zagreb (and therefore Croatian football) that probably no one else could do. His figure attracted all the best talents from Croatia to Dinamo, one of the best football academies in the world, where he, through his phenomenal marketing skills, guaranteed them big transfer to some big team if they develop well. He promoted them.. and that was the case for Modrić, Kovačić, Brozović, Badelj, Mandžukić, Pjaca, Vida, Ćorluka, Lovren, Vrsaljko, Pivarić, etc. They all have roots from Dinamo andy many more like Livaković, Sosa, Ćorić, Brekalo, etc. are yet to explode in a similar way

Modric, Vrsaljko and many other players from Dalmatia supported Hajduk as kids but awfull management of Hajduk didn't see potential in them. Dinamo Zagreb earned huge money on them and used it for 11 titles in a row. Torcida now sees Modric as traitor(!) and Hajduk's bad results as conspiracy of Croatian Football Associaton (HNS). Remember Euro 2016? Croatia - Slovakia 2:0 and then idiots start throwing flares on the pitch. No fascist would want to sabotage his team
