How to configure a Epson Thermal Recipt printer to work on LAN.

CORRECTION: set to manual NOT automatic if you are setting IP address MANUALLY (ie STATIC). If you use automatic then it overwrites your manual address if DHCP server is found.

1 question, when i change the Hostname from the TM-90L, he always give me the Error. "Updated Failed" do u have any idea, where the issue comes from?

why do you need to set the gateway? You already set it to "get ip address" to automatic ?

No need to mess with windows settings/properties. As we can see on 02:32 are all set and ready to go. You are just deleting and re-typing the same info there and there is no need to do such thing!

When I connect the printer it works and the test print works but when I try to print a real order it sticks and then say write port times out error

did you use a special cable/cross cable to connect from the laptop to printer?

When i ty to reach the printer by its ip-adress, it it is written: Forbidden Page 403

you need to put the pc on the same ip.. so put the pc on 192.168.192.8 or 9 or 10
