Jack Willis's redemption story is phenomenal!

- Jack Willis was without a club in October 2022, after his side Wasps folded. 8 months later he's a French champion with Toulouse.
International opportunities were limited after suffering two catastrophic knee injuries. The first in May 2018 denied him his first cap, and the second in February 2021 ruled him out for over 12 months after finally getting minutes for England. Now he's almost destined to go to the World Cup with England.

Delighted to see the big man get silverware after such a turbulent season and all that injury time lost. Hope we see him in the England set up for the long term, when he's on his best day he's one of the hardest working players I've seen

Before he got injured it was insane just how good his form was. Set the record for most turnovers in the premiership by a massive amount, motm every wasps game and basically their reason for getting to the premiership final. His flexibility in his legs is freakish. Was so gutted when he got injured but so happy to see him back and great seeing him with Toulouse and a world class french team around him

Once a Wasp, always a Wasp! So glad to see our boy doing well. Whatever team he's in, I'm gonna support and enjoy watching him.
He improved at Toulouse. He won fzmous titles : European champion, and twice back to back Top 14 champion. It's a shame he's not allowed to play for england. Such as ussr , a man playing abroad was a traitor. Stupid rule.

He’s an absolute non negotiable for England. Pick him at 7 with Tom Curry at 6 and recreate the kamikaze kids.

I would not call it a redemption, the Wasps' issues were never his fault. He had to deal with it.
I don’t think anyone thinks it’s his fault. Coming back from two knee injuries is a great redemption too, and they weren’t his fault either…

Yeah I really hate being pedantic but using the word ‘redemption’ says that Willis did something wrong.
@@AndrewDavidForde agree, it s fantastic achievement for him. But redemption means make up for a past bad action , not applicable in Jack’s case 😎
