- I finally was able to secure a brand new 2022 Marin San Quentin 1 thanks to Matthew at my local bike shop. He hasn't been able to get anything in in ages so this was a blessing. I hope you enjoy the video. I am working on a specs video right now.
I have the same bike with the same color scheme. I agree its sick the first thing I did was change the pedals glad you scored 1 as I had to travel out of state to find mine. I plan on upgrades down the road. glad your happy with the bike I know I am
Thanks man! Yeah I’m stoked and I thought I wouldn’t get one until next year at least but I got lucky enough to get one. Shred hard!
Nice bike 😍... up dropper seatpost & bb crankset .... ride safe
I have the Grey one in M and will change the Fork to Rockshox Yari 150mm travel. There will be a crown to axle difference of 14mm making the Headtube angle slightly lower than 65 degrees making it 64.38.
I’ll def need to change the fork at some point
Bruh just buy the 2 for gash sake don cha no.
@@Ih8ryce1 it's okay Bro, SQ1 is only for my local trail.
Yee frickin yeet
nice pump track nearby ur house dam...
Well it’s nice when they keep up work on it. When rain comes it gets destroyed unfortunately. Thanks for watching!
Is this bicycle good for street ? Like jumping stairs and that kind of stuff?
I think I responded to your other comment but overall yes. It holds up pretty well
@@timmiboi2745 thanks!! One more question , I'm 270 lbs weight . I ordered Xl size, but will this bycicle holds my weight and street jumping abuse with no issues because of my weight?
@@juancruz-jg5pq I’m not 100% sure but for reference I’m around 160. I’m fairly certain it would hold up. Most newer bikes are pretty strong now. Hope you enjoy it!
@@timmiboi2745 thanks man, yeah im really excited about my new hobbie, now time to get the full face helmet! Have a good one .
How tall are you and what size is the bike?
I’m 6’2” and the bike is a large. Technically I should have gotten an extra large but I couldn’t find any.
@@timmiboi2745 thanks g.
Does anyone know if it’s worth it to change the fork to a rock shox recon?
I would say it wouldn’t hurt. I mean it is the base model San Quentin so the fork is the least they could do. It has 120 travel but I bet a nice fork would make it even better.
How is the bike holding up?
Really well! I haven’t actually ridden too much this year but bike is great. The rear brakes need some work but other than that it’s a great bike
Wich size IS it!?
I got the large but it does go up to extra large. I had a hard time finding one though
From the moment to said “ok let’s go” to when you finished stretching, you could have left that out
🤷♂️
