Trying to decide between the 5hp or 6 hp. My primary use for ithis vaccine will be around the house and garage. Love the convenience of the smaller vacs. Would like the blower on the 6hp. Also like the handle on the 5hp for carrying around the house. I’ll have to figure it out. Thanks for the video. Very helpful.
I have the same one you're talking about but after finding this I went right to homedepot and got it lol. It only costs $15 more and I sold the old one for $50 on facebook so not a bad trade off.
I just got this vac for Christmas cannot get it to vacuum only blow. I read directions and actually cannot find anything about switching from the blower to the intake. I would appreciate any thoughts on how to vacuum with this machine. Thanks
How on earth does the long, black, 2 piece attachment that comes with the vacuum, attach to the upgraded hose end? Sorry for the silly question, but I honestly can't figure out how the two connect, different size connector points? Am I overlooking a adapter? Id really like to vacuum my shop floor without hurting my back, tks.
does the blower gets loose over time (by removing and putting back on top of it), I just got mine and blower part is kind of loose a but, not sure if my unit that way or it is normal, my concern is that it might loose power Thank You
The specs say 129 but it seems to be a lot higher than that. I have a small handheld blower that’s 100 and it’s significantly better than that. Not sure of the miles per hour but they’re pretty good because this works well for drawing your vehicles.
If you hold the handle, are you able to hold it in one hand while you vacuum? or will it weigh too much or maybe the blower might fall off of the container w/ wheels
@@EnthusiastsGarage Ahh alright, appreciate the response. Debating between the 6 HP or the 5 HP. The 5 HP has a handle right on top Thanks for the video
Just bought the 5.0 hp one today and I’m returning it. On the 5 hp one the accessories are in the way of the wire so every time you use it you have to take the accessories off then plug in the wire. The 6 hp one has the wire and accessories separated so its a much better design in my opinion.
Yeah they’re sold out right now with everything going on in the world I’m sure it’s gonna take a little while to get them back in stock. Keep checking the Home Depot website.
Thanks for the info, after a few months is the play between the blower and vacuum still tight? Only concern I have with this one. Power is right what I'm looking for. Oh, like your cabinets, are the doors gray, or blue? And what brand? Thanks in advance.
One other question, is there a filter on the blower? Was wondering since it could be used to blow dry cars but wouldn't wa to blow dust when doing so. Thanks.

You never turned it on and showed the suction power
The video I needed to decide if I should get this unit, great content.
Arw there any other compatible car kits fir this vacume besides the rigid one? It has horrible reviees
I have the 5hp one but wish this one was available when I bought mine. I love it but the blower would be nice.

@@aidenhernandez5296 Is there a noticable difference in power and noise level between the two rigid models?
Interesting equipment!

You just detach the top off by pressing the black button by the handle. Then you attach the blower attachment to the hole
Why don’t they sell it in stores
Is it ok to use it as a house vacuum ?
That’s what I want to know, I just got the wd4070 for the car and regular house cleaning.
The Ams seem low, can not find on search. 6hp need 12 volt no?

I’m not exactly sure what you’re talking about but some of the standard features are not compatible with the upgraded car accessory kit.

It has a little bit of play but the performance is still very good
@@EnthusiastsGarage Thank you so much for confirming this.
Do you know the CFM and mph numbers on the blower?

Where do u get the 6hp motor/ blower thats on the Ridgid? I'm not finding it?
They just got a big shipment in a few weeks ago and it actually just sold out again. You just have to keep an eye out for when it’s back in stock.

You could but it would be awkward

@@JayWind111 Personally I would not dwell on the power ratings because that’s at 240 V. The most you’re gonna get out of 120 V is about 2 hp.

There is a small amount of play but it doesn't affect the suction.
