I have never in my entire life spoken with someone that has so much energy and passion about knives as Erik Hansen and he does so with a level of integrity that is unsurpassed by anyone I know. FOBOS Knives is not just another brand. FOBOS Knives is a mans life experiences with knives finely tuned, updated and refined into the fine blades that you see here today. I have owned a lot of knives over the nearly five decades that I have been here for and all of them combined don't even come close to making me as happy as my FOBOS knives do. Zero regrets!! I have never been happier with a knife purchase in my life!!

Awesome interview! From one of the best in the industry for sure! Erik is one cool dude. It is an honor to be collabing with him. And just a quick note on the Malvado. As for shortening the blade, it's just going to be a fraction shorter, no more than a 1/4”. The reason behind the shortening is to strengthen the fine point of the tip just a bit. Just shortening it enough to accomplish that, without sacrificing the defensive capabilities of the knife. I think it will also keep the balance of the blade in feel and aesthetics since we are reducing the pommel slightly as well. The whole purpose of this blade is to purposefully walk that line and have a blade that will serve you in a defensive scenario but also be fully capable of any EDC task you might need to put it through. Definitely is going to be a wickedly (hence the name!) fast, agile, EDC blade! 😎👍

Seems like an odd choice to go with .187" on that collaboration wharncliff considering it's an edc knife that's just meant to open boxes and break down cardboard and whatnot.
