What they have done in the name of their religion were recognized by the Catholic church/leaders. So if a priest of the Catholic church mentions their name as recognition to be exemplified, it is because of their good works. Adoration is higher than veneration, it will only refer to GOD and for saints, it's veneration. I also know the ten commandments of God given thru Mosses. We should not mix these. Catholic was existed since then as religion and not an organization, ask yours..

im catholic and im not worshiping the sants example st. vincent ferrer we just do that kind of devotion csuse our prayers are direct to god through the intercession of the saints like st.vincent this is not idolatry one we pray to the saints cause the saints are delivering our prayers to god and god works deliverd to us by the saints two the true bible or the catholic bible saids in james chapter 24 "NOT BY FAITH ALONE" Pangit ka at wala kang pake
