Were they already waiting under the boat when you arrived and the fish soup was not yet in the water? When I dived at Osprey reef in Australia, fish came when the boat arrived. During which month did you go? I saw many videos where the water was greenish or the visibility not as good.
The massive fish soup start building as soon as the shark feeders / safety divers enter the water, but I’m sure the sharks appear when the boat moors up since the shark dive is run quite regularly. That seems to always be the case with baited dives with resident shark populations. I went in August 2015 and I believe that’s when visibility tends to be best but it’s also worth mentioning that I was there for a full week of shark diving every day (alternating between BAD and Aquatrek) and not every day has such good visibility. I know that I got super lucky with the viz for 2-3 days that week. Still 100% worth it even without the wonderful viz - the sharks come super close 🤙🏽
@@DiveHard To be there for a week enhances effectively the chances for the viz and the action. I planned 3days and BAD goes on Thu Fri Sat :) Let see how it is end of Nov / beginning of Dec... I dived Tiger beach and Bimini but it was different. It seems that the sharks are much more frenetic in Beqa. In the Bahamas we had only one little box and with the flat white sand we could see them coming...
@@Sylvie_in_the_Sea that’s awesome - you’re going to love it. It’s definitely more frenetic than any other shark dive I’ve done anywhere (aquatrek in particular). I would say borderline dangerous but they also have 2-3 safety divers watching the back of guests, and they do know how to control the situation with a huge volume of tuna heads. For sure try both operators / dive sites since the experience and scenery is very different between the two. Happy and safe shark diving! 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
@@DiveHard Did you find the dives more interesting with Aquatrek or what was different? I don't know if I should go 2 days Aquatrek /1d BAD OR 1 AT / 2d BAD. Someone who went with Beqa Lagoon Resort had a reaaaaally wild experience: once 2 females and one male smaller tiger sharks. The females really tested the 4 safety DMs boundaries and made runs during and after the feeding...
OMG! This is madness. "Can't see the forest for all the trees" ? mayhem. How on earth (underwater) could there be control with so many sharks in a thick blaze of fish?
😂 I know! The truth is that there isn’t a ton of control. But guests need to stay put behind a rocky barrier, where 2-3 safety divers with sticks are also watching their backs. It’s a bit crazy but it’s one of the best underwater experiences of my life. Madness!!

Been there , very nice experience. Have one on one feeding video, did rub beast’s slimy belly. Nice video, thanks.
It is a wild experience for sure. Member of a crazy club. Nothing n the world is quite like this specific shark dive! Thank you! 🙏🏽 🤙🏽
Impressive bullsharks!
By far the biggest bull sharks I have ever seen anywhere!🤙🏽I think its because they are eating tuna heads all day 😂

@@DiveHard Yeah, saw a vid where a diver almost lost his head since the safety diver with the stick didn't respond fast enough.
