Thanks for posting! In my opinion, their concepts are so much more sound than Syracuse’s zone. They get better pressure on the ball, the corners keep vision and get matched so much better, and their big is really good at rim protecting without fouling. The ability of their guards to play tandem to take away the high post also enables the middle man to play lower and take away the post and short corner, along with communicating to the corner defenders. I also like the footwork of their corner defenders.

Syracuse zone is not a match up!
My AAU team in 7th & 8th grade ran this defense a lot. To great effect. Really tough to score on when executed well.
