I think I've literally been there for yrs.
I don't play constantly, I take months of breaks when I feel bored in the game.
I just returned last month, and reached TH14 one or two weeks ago…?
As a f2p th13 I totally agree that it is a bottleneck
I remember I quit the game at th13 because things got really boring and the upgrades seemed like no end in sight . Especially with Th royal champion things got exponentially boring to upgrade . I returned after a year to my th13 and completed it because the prices had reduced a lot on all the upgrades . After completing the 13 I got the GOLD PASS and th14 15 has been a breeze . I finished my th14 in 2 months and all hero's levelled up during the unlimited hero's event XD.
Damn i quit for a bit too after upgrading to th13...and i just skipped th12 from a max th11..just making the grind even harder, goddamn is the hero level goes so high

I feel like 13 is the perfect place to stay on for a long time.
It has the best and most consistent armies for 3*ing every other 13, and most 14s. And you are never really overwhelmed by a 14, even tho it has the poison it doesn't have for example the monolith from 15.
You can enjoy raiding on 13, which I don't think you can enjoy once you reach 14, cuz that's where you'll mostly start getting 15s. And raiding a 14 from a 13 is definitely easier than raiding a 15 from a 14.
I recently reached 13 and plan to stay here for a long time. I mean the upgrades alone will be lengthy. But the fact that I can 3* every other 13 in cw/cwl's without fail is quite enjoyable.

Even tho our clan only has th 12 and 13 we get th 16 opponent 😢.
I think it looks good and you get pets which is pretty cool. But I get that its boring to finally finish heroes, you upgrade everything and right away you go to the next th, I'd like to stay for a bit at some point too but I'm a th12 still so got a long way to go, heroes are holding me back rn.
Im almost done th 13. Will be done mid december. But it is a drag. The most grindy th for sure with hero upgrades and everything needing two upgrades each. 25 royal champ upgrades took me half a year of on and off playing. Totally worth it though as max heros at th 13 is basically free 3 stars
For sure but they should lower it. Nobody wants to wait 3 months and that would be if you constantly upgraded rc. You can't even enjoy the game because 80% of the time your heroes are upgrading and then you go to the next th once you have everything maxed out. They either need to let you use your heroes while they're upgrading or they need to drastically decrease the upgrade times. First 25 levels and it takes 3 months that's horrible. I don't even know why do you need a builder and any upgrade timer on hero upgrades like what is a builder building on a hero 💀
@@xtherealest removing hero upgrade timers would be so lit, but then everyone would have max heroes and no one would spend copious amounts of money on gems and books, i think being able to use your heroes while theyre upgrading though is a phenomenal idea, although it would also lead to a huge drop in sales for supercell so i dont see it actually happening anytime soon.
@@xtherealest When I max out a th completely, I usually hold off upgrading to the next th and play with it for a few months, practicing attack strategies and having fun with it. Gonna stay back and grind some ores for war with my max th 13

I started my second account when I was about 75% done upgrading my th 13….. now my second account is max th11 besides hero’s and I just started my traps on th 13 🤦🏽♂️
I remember getting my 6th builder before the Builder Base 2.0 update and that was pain
I hate town hall 12 already, can’t imagine town hall 13 but at least there is way more fun with the RC
"way more fun with the RC" yeah it is fun until you realise there are 25 levels for RC and you don't even get to use the heroes for half the time
@@dragonedits3703 yeah man, I get to use RC only during CWL's and I don't do wars, Always on grind to max
you can get away with 3 zaps if you giant arrow 2 air defenses, with healer puppet it helps clear out the clutter buildings on the outside too
As someone who often plays for a 2 month or two and then takes a long break from clash, my th13 has been going since th14 dropped. I maxed my th14 all the way to max th16 before i finished my th13 which i just upgraded to 14 a week ago lol

I don't know about you, but I upgraded to th13 in August and now in November I am upgrading my final traps, heroes are pretty good with AQ 74, BK 65, W 41, RC 20. Pretty sure two more months and I will finish everything. With the 50% off event I will max my walls as well so I don't think th13 is a bottleneck
True th13 starts to slow down alot seems like so many upgrades
I watched Eric a couple of years ago and he upgraded the baby dragons in builder base, you only need a lvl15 copter to go with it and you'll smash bases
this is what I've been doing for ages lol, just spam babies, eventually you get really good at using them too so you can start planning on the spot and taking out key buildings using their abilities well. It's honestly pretty fun

thats really a bad idea considering if you rush through TH 13 you'll have 4 times the work at TH 14... (ive been stuck on TH 13 for 2 years now :D)

Once you have the 6th builder the only thing builder base is good for is free gems and fast clan games progress 😂

Hey Bash i need a suggestion i am Max th 12 and planning on upgrading to Th 13 is it better to go straight to th 14 rightaway cause most ppl think th 13 is boring (i've always maxed by base till now before upgrading to next town hall)
@ramprasanth3343 no you will be super far behind. Lots to do at 13 including rc upgrades
why boring? you get a new hero and defense in th13. at least you can learn how to deal with scattershots and giga inferno at th13. then th14 only give you a pets. th13 is not take that long to upgrades right now, just chilling and enjoy

i don't really get it. I'm at th13 and i feel like it's normal.
I started right after hammer jam ended which was end of November. According to clash ninja, my stuff is done by the end of February. So that means the whole th is gonna take 3 months. Idk what's the deal, I have 6 builders, and gold pass. I buy 3 lab potions every week with raid medals.
