I think it was Simon who wanted to incorporate sign language. Simon previously asked how deaf people can enjoy music. That's what I heard. Hearing-impaired people seem to enjoy the sound of heavy bass as it vibrates through their bones. So I think the main point of this song is the bass. I think he wanted many people to enjoy music😌🎶
You should've mentioned to her, on their live performances. The chairs have the GRL GVNG lettering on them. In the beginning it's all scrambled. By the time they go to the bridge part with Chisa and the chairs lined up. It spelled out GRL GVNG. The sign language during live performances are only used with some of the lyrics. But they did release a full version with ASL throughout the whole song.
There’s a lot of sign language all through the choreo lol even at the beginning with them sitting in the chairs they’re signing! They also got a full ASL ver. on their channel that is pretty slept on if you ask me.
XG the Japanese global group is storming the world with their talent. Honestly, it is unimaginable thee XGALX was already been established back in 2017, in Japan. I guess when they started their training with AVEX….. FLAWLESS!! 👌👌👏👏🇯🇵
They are doing ASL the entire song actually except for a few parts but remember sign language and ASL are different sign language is actually signs for words and letters and ASL is like sing language slang. It’s a mix of sign language and movements that represent what they are saying without it being actual signs. Like if I tell you to come here by waveing you over to me. That’s ASL. Not sign language because there are hands signs for that lose two words separately. So the choreography itself is ASL some parts have actual signs and some of gestures or “Shan’s slang” if you want to be creative about it lol queen you are sooo genius for catching this on only your second watch.
jurin looks to be wearing a knock off tottenham shirt so i searched "tottenham XG", forgetting of course that there's a stat in soccer called expected goals or "xG" and it's really hard to get case sensitive search results lol, but! i'm pretty sure it is, and it would make sense since tottenham's best player heung-min son is massively popular in korea, although we should probably note that tottenham's long time rivals and much better club arsenal happen to employ one of only three japanese players currently in the premier league, AND our hashtag is COYG for "come on you gunners" instead of COYS, seems to me like COYG, XG, you know, i'm not a marketing guy, just seems like there's something there! football betrayal notwithstanding i really enjoyed this! i'm a little sad there aren't any more XG videos to do but excited to see where you go next! great job!

Watch the video of them doing the entire song in sign language! It's as genius as you would hope for. ❤
They have a video/Short where they did ASL for the whole thing!
What impressed me the most aside from the use of ASL, the synchronization and exact timing of all the landings and stomps

I think Simon said it was Chisa's idea on a Instagram post but I could be wrong.
There was a fan who messaged Simon cause his/her child was deaf. It was Simon who decided to dedicate it for that fan
They did post a full sign vid : )
