Delta PLC Temperature Control Using PID(with Audio Explanation in English)

In this video basics on how to configure PID Block is explained for Temperature Control . Default PID Block(16bit) is used in the demonstration. The block is useful for precise control of temperature.
In this example Delta DVP Series PLC is used.
Please make sure you do not call PID block within a Function Block.
Also dont forget to use Retentive range for Settings(s3) of PID

Hi Sir, Nice Video! I am planning to control Ph meter automatically. But I am using normal valve (On/OFF) for the base and acid valve. Is it possible to use Proportional control by varying the timer value? based on the difference between PH present value and PH target value

start from proportional gain
proportional gain decides how fast your system respond to a change. Both I and D help to make the response smooth
I makes slow and steady wheras D prevents overshoots and fluctuations

in the S3 + 6 register you can set the upper bound limit for the MV(Manipulated Variable - PID output)

I did the same program in SS2, using the simulator, and direct in PLC, but no have result in PID block, no show nothing in D200. and in the monitor, show only in D2000, D2012 and D2013 change 0 to 4000 very fast. whats happen?

for PID I recommend to try with real PLC rather than simulator
